Abstract

En uso, el líquido a ser filtrado se eleva en el tanque a través de la pantalla inferior a través de las aperturas definidas allí y comprime el medio de filtración, bajo la fuerza de flotación, contra una pantalla superior. El líquido es forzado hacia arriba a través de los interespacios entre el medio de filtración, causando que las impurezas en el líquido sean atrapadas en el medio de filtración. El líquido filtrado que pasa a través del medio de filtración pasa a través de las aperturas definidas en la pantalla superior y fuera del tanque por medio de una salida. The filtration apparatus is economical to build and operate, is modular and can be raised at or near the place where the filtered liquid is required. 1.- A flow-through-flow filtration apparatus for liquid filtration that includes: a tank; a lower screen located near the bottom of the tank and an upper screen located near the surface of the tank, the lower and upper screens define a plurality of openings to allow the liquid to pass through them; a filtration medium contained between the lower and upper screens, the filtration medium has a specific density equal to or less than that of the liquid to be filtered and a size larger than the apertures defined by the lower and upper screens; such that the impurities in the liquid to be filtered are captured by the filtration medium while the liquid passes through it during a filtration cycle, the filtration medium can be compressed against the upper screen by means of the liquid that it flows up, thus increasing the filtration efficiency of the filtration medium.
