Abstract
Un método mejorado de detonación perimetral que comprende los pasos de:a) seleccionar un agente detonante en emulsión de una formulación predeterminada;b) transportar el agente detonante en emulsión;c) adicionar un solvente reductor de energía a la emulsión detonante mientras se transporta;d) mezclar uniforme y homogéneamente el agente reductor de energía con el agente detonante emulsionado;e) opcionalmente, adicionar agentes gasificantes al agente detonante emulsionado para reducir su densidad y aumentar su sensibilidad; yf) cargar el agente detonante emulsionado dentro de una perforación perimetral. Un método mejorado de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1donde un agente redactor de energía se agrega en una cantidad de desde alrededor de 5% hasta alrededor del 22.5% del peso del agente detonante en emulsión. Un método mejorado de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1donde el agente reductor de energía se agrega en una cantidad de desde alrededor de 7.5% hasta alrededor del 17.5% del peso del agente detonante en emulsión.Un método mejorado de acuerdo con las reivindicaciones 1, 2 o 3, donde el agente reductor de energía se selecciona a partir del grupo que consiste de agua y soluciones acuosas. Un método mejorado de acuerdo con la reivindicación 4 donde las soluciones acuosas contienen sustancias disueltas seleccionadas a partir del grupo que consiste de sales inorgánicas oxidantes, urea, glicoles y ácidos inorgánicos. Un método mejorado de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1donde el agente detonante emulsionado contiene además gránulos de nitrato de amonio o ANFO en una cantidad de hasta un 50% en peso del agente detonante en emulsión.
