Abstract

La presente invención se relaciona con un método para controlar el crecimiento inadecuado de una planta en cultivos tolerantes al herbicida de plantas seleccionadas de maíz, arroz y poroto de soja, en dicho método, un compuesto de la fórmula I:<EMI FILE="01009426_1" ID="1" IMF=JPEG >dondeM es un metal alcalino o metal de tierra alcalina;n es 1 ó 2;r y s son cada uno, independientemente, diferentes de 0, 1/2, 1, 1 1/2, 2, 2 1/2 o 3; yL es etil acetato, acetonitrilo, dimetil sulfóxido, dimetilformamida, dimetilacetamida, N-metil-2-pirrolidona, acetona, butanona, cloruro de metileno, triclorometano, tricloroetano, tetrahidrofurano, dietil éter, 1,2-dimetoxietano, dioxano, metil terc-butil éter, clorobenceno, tolueno o xileno, con la condición de que r es diferente de 1 1/2 cuando L es dioxano y s es 0, son adecuados para utilizar como herbicidas en los cultivos tolerantes al herbicida de plantas útiles seleccionadas de maíz, arroz y poroto de soja.
