Abstract
Procedimiento para disminuir la cantidad de agua contenida enlas pulpas de mineral niquelífero oxidado, caracterizado, porque consiste sucesivamente en: - Diluir la pulpa con agua a una concentración inferior a 150 g de sólido por litro y, preferentemente, inferior a 80 g de sólido por litro,- inyectar en la pulpa diluida una disolución acuosa diluida a menos de 1g por litro y, preferentemente, de 0,5 g por litro, de un floculante orgánico a base de un copolímero derivado del ácido acrílico débilmente aniónico y de masa molecular media en peso de 2.106 a 3.106 , a una dosis de 50 a 1000 g por tonelada de materia seca de la pulpa, y en dejar la disolución inyectada en contacto con la pulpa diluida durante un tiempo suficiente para obtener un sobreverso que contiene menos de 100 mg de sólido por litro y un subverso que contiene entre 450 y 300 g de sólido por litro, y - separar el subverso del sobreverso.
