Abstract
Un aparato que comprende: un tubo no poroso, por lo menos untubo de metal poroso colocado en dicho elemento tubular no poroso y sellado dentro de dicho tubo no poroso, dicho tubo no poroso teniendo una porción superior y una porción inferior; por lo menos una línea de drenaje en dicho tubo no poroso; una línea de alimentación conectada a dicho tubo de metal poroso tubular, una línea de remoción de sólidos conectada al tubo de metal poroso distante de la línea de alimentación; y una bomba de circulación de flujo transversal colocada de manera operable en la línea de alimentación. 1Un proceso para la separación de sólidos de hidrocarburos que comprende: la alimentación de una corriente que contiene hidrocarburos líquidos y sólidos particulados en una primera relación de sólidos a líquidos a una zona de metal tubular poroso, bajo condiciones de presión y a una velocidad para evitar que los sólidos se adhieran a la estructura de metal poroso, la separación de una primera porción de líquido de las partículas sólidas mediante el paso de dicha primera porción de líquido a través de dicha zona de metal poroso en una zona tubular no porosa que rodea dicha estructura tubular porosa, la recuperación de dicha primera porción de líquido de dicha zona tubular no porosa y el paso de una segunda porción de líquido que contiene dichos sólidos particulados en una segunda relación de sólidos a líquidos desde dicha zona tubular porosa.
