Abstract

Un aparato para facilitar la interacción promovida de vapor y líquido que pasan en flujo de contracorriente a través de una torre de proceso que tiene una pared, dicho aparato comprende: un vertedero de salida que tiene una pluralidad de segmentos dispuestos en una configuración multicordal; un tubo de bajada dispuesto por debajo de dicho vertedero de salida, dicho tubo de bajada tiene una salida de tubo de bajada y una pared de tubo de bajada que se ahusa desde dicho vertedero salida hacia abajo hacia la pared de dicha torre de proceso y dicha salida de tubo de bajada, en donde dicha salida de bajada incluye una sección de abertura central y secciones de abertura de bordes opuestos, y en donde dichas porciones de abertura de bordes opuestos son mayores que dicha sección de abertura central; y una bandeja que tiene un área de entrada dispuesta por debajo de dicha salida de tubo de bajada y una segunda área de bandeja.
