Abstract

La presente invención se relaciona con artículos absorbentesde líquido que tienen un régimen elevado de aceptación fluido, para ser usado en un producto absorbente de líquido, desechable, caracterizado porque dicho artículo absorbente de líquido comprende material de musgo de esfagnínea y una cantidad efectiva de fibras entrelazadas. Dichas fibras entrelazadas pueden ser fibras celulósicas. Además, dichos artículos absorbentes pueden tener la forma de una lámina y pueden comprender una capa reforzadora. Adicionalmente, pueden tener un componente fibroso seleccionado del grupo que consiste de rayón, poliéster, nylos, acrílico, pulpa de madera Kraft, pulpa de madera mecánica, borras de algodón y sus mezclas. Estos artículos absorbentes pueden ser suavizados mecánicamente para incrementar la suavidad y la flexibilidad de mismos. Métodos para fabricar un artículo absorbente de líquido que tiene un régimen elevado de aceptación de líquido, una elevada capacidad absorbente y la capacidad de transportar por capilaridad el líquido lejos de un punto de impacto caracterizado dicho método porque comprende el paso de: incorporar a una lámina de material de musgo de esfagnínea una cantidad efectiva de fibras entrelazadas. Dicho método puede comprender los pasos de: preparar una suspensión que contiene musgo de esfagnínea y fibras celulósicas entrelazadas; y retirar el medio fluidizante de la suspensión para formar el artículo absorbente de líquido.
