Abstract

La presente invención se refiere, en general, a un método de secado del efluente del proceso de purificación de trinitrotolueno (TNT), conocido como agua roja, que utiliza el secado por aspersión de manera eficiente, mejorada y segura. La presente invención también contempla las características del polvo obtenido de su uso y un producto envasado que lo contiene. La técnica propuesta sugiere el uso de temperaturas inferiores a la incineración líquida (< 300°C contra 1.000ºC) además de que el material de interés principal no se descompone, no genera gases tóxicos y permite el uso de polvo seco en otras aplicaciones.
