Abstract

Se proporciona un método realizado por un cliente para transmitir a un servidor una transmisión de medios en vivo. El método incluye que el cliente establezca una conexión de capa de transporte con el servidor; transmitir al servidor un mensaje de solicitud HTTP que tiene un encabezado y un cuerpo; y almacenar en un búfer de transmisión los datos de medios correspondientes a la alimentación de medios en vivo a medida que se generan los datos de medios. El encabezado no indica el tamaño del cuerpo. Se utiliza una configuración de calidad para generar los datos multimedia. La transmisión del cuerpo incluye: 1) transmitir al servidor al menos una parte de los datos multimedia; 2) quitar del búfer de transmisión al menos una parte de los datos multimedia; 3) determinar si el cliente debe modificar la configuración de calidad que se utiliza para generar los datos multimedia, y 4) repetir los pasos (1), (2) y (3) hasta que se detecte un gatillo de cesación de la transmisión.
