Abstract

RESUMEN DE LA DIVULGACIÓN Se proporciona un sistema y un método para acortar líneas de suspensión específicas cerca del centro de un paracaídas Ram-Air con el fin de deformar la sección del perfil aerodinámico solo en la sección central del casquete. Esta deformación de la sección central lleva a una alteración significativa de la relación de planeo del paracaídas al reducir simultáneamente la velocidad de avance y aumentar la relación de descenso. Mientras tanto, debido a que el casquete solo está deformado en la sección central, las puntas del ala permanecen extendidas y presurizadas de modo que el aparato de dirección en el borde de salida del casquete permanece completamente funcional para dirigir el rumbo.
