Abstract

Se provee un equipo de usuario para comunicarse con una estación base en un sistema de comunicaciones de radio que soporta comunicación de banda estrecha, el equipo de usuario incluyendo una unidad de recuperación que recupera, de la estación base, información para identificar una segunda banda de frecuencia mediante una primera banda de frecuencia, en donde una señal de sincronización e información broadcast se transmiten en la primera banda de frecuencia, y la señal de sincronización y la información broadcast no se transmiten en la segunda banda de frecuencia; y una unidad identificadora que identifica una frecuencia central de la segunda banda de frecuencia basándose en la información.
