本发明应用激光作为光源,进行天然金刚石晶体的结晶面网的确定,从而可找到金刚石的结晶面网,该发明具有投资少,对人体无害、准确、方便等特点。

Description

本发明属于金刚石加工领域。
现在天然金刚石晶体的定向方法中,X-射线衍射法具有设备昂贵(一台定向仪25.000元),使用极其不便,而对人体有损害,目测定向方法虽然使用方便,但精度较差。因此迫切需要一种投资少,精度高、使用方便、对人体无害的金刚石晶体定向方法。
天然金刚石晶体各向异性,因而在金刚石工具的设计、制造及使用中,必须根据其结晶方位,合理选择,使得金刚石加工容易而又耐用,本发明的目的就是使用一种新方法-激光,对天然金刚石晶体结晶面网进行确定工作。
激光金刚石晶体定向方法的基本原理是:当激光束照射在金刚石晶体表面时,由于金刚石表面存在微小的晶间腐蚀,使相干性较好的激光束在金刚石表面产生干涉,发生反衍射现象。其衍射斑可在屏幕上显示出来。当激光束和天然金刚石晶体的各个结晶面网的角度不同时,其反衍射图形也存在明显的区别,根据这种区别,可以测得激光束与金刚石各面网间的夹角,从而实现了天然金刚石晶体的结晶面网确定问题。即金刚石的晶体定向。其原理如图〔1〕,激光管a发出激光束,通过一个中心有孔的屏幕b,照射在金刚石晶体C表面上,不断调整金刚石的位置,可在屏幕上得到不同的反衍射图样,当屏幕上的图样和事先已取得标准图样一致时,则激光束和金刚石的某一面网有确定的角度,从而可确定所需面网的空间位置。
实施例:
天然金刚石三个主要面网(100),(110),(111)的确定,当激光束与(111)面网垂直时,在屏幕上的反衍射图样如图2,当与(110)面垂直时,其图形如图3,当与(100)面垂直时,其图形如图4,据此,可以较方便解决各个面网的定向问题。
