背景技术
在活塞式内燃机和气体压缩机工作中,活塞环的密封作用是十分重要的。而现在使用的活塞环存在的缺陷主要是活塞环的开口是一直接漏气通道,漏气严重(漏气量可达吸气量的1%),造成的不良后果一是影响了气缸内部压力、内燃机压缩终了温度,既浪费燃料也减少输出功率,二是造成燃烧机油,火花塞积碳,以至火塞环损坏,还增大了大气污染。
发明内容
本实用新型的目的是提供一种结构简单、密封效果好的活塞环。
本实用新型的目的是这样实现的:这种活塞环是由上下开口错位180°的两个(或两个以上)活塞环复合而成,置于同一环槽内构成一道密封屏障。
本实用新型与现有活塞环相比,燃烧室内的高温高压气体要进入一室时,由复合环的上环开口进入,只能进入环槽的一半宽度就被下环档位,这时气体只能分两路沿环内径与环槽之间的间隙绕半周后,再通过下环的开口进入一室,这样漏气量小于现在使用的活塞环许多倍,对内燃机而言,提高了内部压力,也提高了压缩终了温度,点火容易,燃料泄露减少,燃料燃烧充分,提高输出功率,减少了大气的污染,由于火花塞积炭减少,还延长机器的使用寿命。

参照图1,(3)是内燃机的气缸壁,(4)是活塞。本实用新型由开口错位180°的上下两个环(1)和(2)复合而成,安装时该复合环位于一个环槽(5)内,形成一道密封屏障。
