Abstract

本实用新型公开一种电连接器,其包括一绝缘本体、若干接地构件、若干端子及一定位构件。上述本体包括一对侧壁、一对端壁、一对接面和一底壁,上述壁面包围形成一收容空间。定位构件具有若干通孔。上述接地构件和信号端子插入收容空间中且固持在绝缘本体的底壁内。上述定位构件则插入收容空间中,且紧邻对接面而设,端子和接地构件延伸穿过定位构件相应的通孔且组装在其中。该定位构件支撑侧壁以免侧壁翘曲变形。

【技术领域】
本实用新型是有关一种电连接器,尤指一种设有定位构件以防止本体翘曲变形的电连接器。
【背景技术】
一种延长型电连接器设有一对平行延伸的侧壁及与侧壁一体相连的一对端壁。当这些电连接器相对高且薄时,两侧壁会翘曲成拱形。侧壁紧邻端壁的两端会产生较小的变形而侧壁的中间则会出现较大的翘曲变形。在一体式注塑成型上述侧壁时,其两端与中间的冷却速度不同。当侧壁完全冷却后,侧壁内残余应力不均会导致侧壁翘曲变形。现有技术中采用了一些解决方法,如在侧壁注塑成型前先在其中设置一金属片。但是,在此种方法中,侧壁必须有足够的厚度来放置金属片。对于侧壁高而薄的连接器,这种金属片显然无法放置。另一种方法通过一可加工出与上述成型时翘曲方向相反的弓形的模具来校正成型时的翘曲变形。当侧壁成型后,该侧壁将会是平行的,原有的翘曲可被消除。但这种方式往往增加模具制作的难度,尤其是上述需要相当高精密度的模具,其制造成本会明显增加。
【发明内容】
本实用新型的目的在于提供一种电连接器,在其内设有定位构件,可防止侧壁翘曲变形。
为实现上述目的,本实用新型采用如下技术方案:电连接器包括绝缘本体、若干接地构件、若干信号端子,以及一定位构件。上述本体具有一对高而薄的侧壁、与侧壁相连的一对端壁、一对接面及与对接面相对设置的底壁,上述壁面包围形成一收容空间。定位构件上形成若干贯穿上、下表面的通孔。信号端子和接地构件上形成若干干涉部。接地构件和信号端子在这些干涉部的干涉作用下组入收容空间中且固持在本体的底壁内。定位构件用以支撑所述侧壁及端壁,其插入收容空间内且紧邻绝缘本体的对接面而设,接地构件及端子延伸穿过定位构件的相应通孔并组设在其中。
与现有技术相比,本实用新型电连接器通过所述定位构件支撑侧壁及端壁,从而避免出现侧壁翘曲变形的情况。
【具体实施方式】
图1为本实用新型电连接器的立体图。

图3为本实用新型电连接器的接地构件及若干端子的立体图。
图4为本实用新型电连接器的定位构件的立体图。

参照图1,本实用新型电连接器包括一绝缘本体1、若干接地构件2、若干高而薄的信号端子3和一定位构件4。
绝缘本体1包括一对侧壁12、与侧壁12相连的一对端壁13、对接面140和与对接面140相对设置的底壁15。上述侧壁12、端壁13、对接面140和底壁15包围形成一收容空间14。参照图5及图6,每一侧壁12包括上部120和下部122。在两侧壁12的下部122之间形成有第一间距,在两侧壁12的上部120之间形成有第二间距,绝缘本体1的高度远大于所述第一间距及第二间距。在上部120和下部122之间形成有插槽124。间隔壁18从底壁15延伸到收容空间14中并将收容空间14隔成两个区域。
参照图2和图3,接地构件2呈平板状,其包括接地片22及与该接地片22镶埋成型(Insert Molding)于一体的较薄的绝缘塑胶件24。接地构件2具有上端26和下端28。接地片22在接地构件2的下端位置设有与本体1干涉配合的若干干涉部220,以及弯折并向下延伸的若干接地插脚222。自塑胶件24上端26向其下端28延伸设有若干收容通道240用以收容端子3。每一端子3在其一端设有接触部30、在其另一端设有朝垂直于接触部30方向弯折的焊接部34,干涉部32连接接触部30和焊接部34以与本体1干涉组装在一体。
参照图4,定位构件4包括主体部42和一对向下延伸的横向侧壁44。在主体部42上设有贯穿其上表面422与下表面424的若干通孔46。
组装时,接地构件2自上而下插入本体1的收容空间14内,其干涉部220干涉组入并紧固在本体1的底壁15中。接地插脚222凸伸出底壁15外。端子3从本体1下方向上插入收容空间14并延伸入相应的收容通道240中,其干涉部32干涉紧固在底壁15内。定位构件4自对接面140及接地构件2上端26组入收容空间14中,端子3的接触部30则从定位构件4的下表面424朝上表面422方向延伸贯穿通孔46组入其中直到定位构件4的横向侧壁44插入到插槽124内为止,此时定位构件4固持在绝缘本体1中邻近对接面140处。定位构件4予接地构件2和接触部30以良好定位从而使对接连接器(未图示)与之容易配合。当定位构件4紧固在本体1内,其可支撑本体1的侧壁12和端壁13以防止出现侧壁翘曲变形成弓形的情况。

Claims (8)

1.一种电连接器,其包括绝缘本体、若干接地构件及若干信号端子,上述绝缘本体设有一对侧壁、与上述侧壁相连的一对端壁、对接面及底壁,所述壁面包围形成收容空间;所述接地构件收容在上述收容空间内,且固持在底壁内;所述信号端子收容在上述收容空间内,且固持在底壁内;其特征是:所述电连接器还设有用以支撑侧壁以免其翘曲变形的定位构件,该定位构件插置且固持在所述收容空间内,其紧邻对接面而设,在定位构件内设有有若干通孔,上述接地构件及端子延伸穿过并组设在所述通孔中。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征是:所述定位构件包括主体部和一对横向侧壁,上述通孔设于该主体部上。
3.如权利要求2所述的电连接器,其特征是:每一侧壁包含上部和下部,在侧壁的上部和下部之间设有一对插槽,横向侧壁插入且固持在插槽中。
4.如权利要求3所述的电连接器,其特征是:每一接地构件包括接地片及与该接地片镶埋成型于一体的塑胶件。
5.如权利要求4所述的电连接器,其特征是:上述接地片设有若干干涉部,这些干涉部干涉固持在本体底壁中。
6.如权利要求5所述的电连接器,其特征是:每一端子在其一端设有接触部,在其另一端设有焊接部,在接触部和焊接部之间设有干涉部,这些干涉部干涉固持在本体底壁内。
7.如权利要求6所述的电连接器,其特征是:在上述塑胶件内形成有若干收容通道,用以收容相应的端子接触部。
8.一种电连接器,其包括绝缘本体、若干信号端子及接地构件,上述绝缘本体具有由一对侧壁、一对端壁、底壁及上部对接面包围形成的收容空间,该绝缘本体的高度大于所述侧壁之间的间距;所述信号端子固持在底壁内并朝对接面方向向上延伸设置;接地构件呈平板状,其固持在底壁内且向上延伸,薄绝缘件设于上述接地构件与端子之间而使其相互间隔;其特征是:所述电连接器还设有定位构件,该定位构件固持在所述收容空间内且邻近所述的对接面而设,其中上述定位构件设有通孔,上述接地构件、端子以及设于两者间的薄绝缘件均延伸穿过该通孔。
