目前，太阳能热水器贮水箱一般由内胆、保温层、外壳组成，保温层位于内胆和外壳之间，外壳由呈圆柱面的中节和两个端盖构成，端盖与中节通过分布在圆柱面上的8-12个螺钉固定连接。其外壳的这种装配结构使得安装工艺复杂，费时长，工人劳动强度大，而且按照工艺要求必须先裹保温层，后装配外壳，使得外壳与保温层不成整体，从而影响贮水箱整体刚性，再者，螺钉暴露在外，也影响美观。

如图2和图3所示，端盖1在与中节2接触处具有环状凸筋11，端盖1下端外径小于中节2内径并与中节紧密配合。图中5为贮水箱内胆，4为保温层。实施例中，保温层为发泡聚氨酯。
