Abstract

一种超硬膜活塞环,其基体(1)上有一层超硬膜镀层,该镀层是氮化钛,厚度约0.3-8μm,在基体和镀层之间有一层钛过渡层,使用等离子体物理或化学沉积法镀成,硬度高,显著提高活塞环的寿命和精度。

Description

超硬膜活塞环
本实用新型涉及一种超硬膜活塞环,属于内燃机零件的技术领域。
活塞环是发动机的易损零件,其性能直接对发动机的性能有影响,国内曾采用镀铬或喷钼工艺对活塞环进行表面处理,但仍有不尽善之处,尤其国内的活塞环的寿命只是国外产品的16%,表面光洁度,致密性也差,成为漏气、漏油的主要因素,亟待改进,使其寿命提高。
本实用新型的目的是要提供一种超硬膜活塞环,它可以克服上述的不足,主要在活塞环基体上,使用等离子体,物理或化学沉法,镀上一层含钛离子的超硬膜镀层,使硬度大,显著提高环的寿命。
本实用新型的目的是这样实现的:
一种超硬膜活塞环,其特征在于活塞环的基体(1)有一层超硬膜镀层(2),其层有一层钛的过渡层(3)。
超硬膜镀层(2)是氮化钛(TiN)、TiC或Ti(CN)或含有铝、锆、铪等金属添加剂的做为表面的单层及多层复合层。
超硬膜镀层(2)厚0.3-8μm。

兹结合附图对超硬膜活塞环的结构进一步详述:
由图1、2活塞环的基体(1)是用球墨铸铁或合金铸铁铸成的,在环的表面,又用特殊的工艺方法,使它具有一层合钛离子的超硬膜(2)镀层。厚度为0.3-8μm。
镀层采用PVD工艺方法,也就是真空等离子体物理气相沉积法,其特点是:①温度越高,膜层(2)与基体(1)的结合力越好,晶粒也愈细,组织更加致密,因此耐磨性也好,可是该温度应低于基体材料的相变温度,否则工件会软化和变形,②镀层时使用特定的卡具,保证其不会变形,③在镀层(2)与基体(1)之间可增加一层过渡层厚为0.2-0.6μm的钛层,提高其结合强度,形成硬度HV2000,也消除了内应力的影响。
同样也可以采用PCVD工艺法,也就是等离子体化学相沉积法。制造超硬膜活塞环。
超硬膜镀层(2)是氮化钛(TiN),碳化钛或ToCN,或含有铝、锆、铪等金属添加剂的作为表面的单层或多层复合层。
与现有技术相比,超硬膜活塞环具有下列优点:
1、镀层结合力较强,硬度达HV2000,耐磨性高,所以活塞环寿命显著提高。
2、本方法适合于任何种类的活塞环,增加了活塞环表面的致密性,减少了发动机的漏气,漏油指标,增加了发动机的输出功率。
3、由于钛化合物具有润滑性、减少了活塞环与缸套之间的磨擦系数,因此减少缸套的磨损。

Claims (3)

1、一种超硬膜活塞环,其特征在于活塞环的基体(1)有一层超硬膜镀层(2),基体(1)和镀层(2)之间有一层钛的过渡层(3)。
2、根据权利要求1所述的活塞环,其特征在于上述超硬膜镀层(2)是氮化钛(TiN)、TiC或Ti(CN)或含有铝、锆、铪等金属添加剂的做为表面的单层及多层复合层。
3、根据权利要求1所述的活塞环,其特征在于超硬膜镀层(2)厚0.3-8μm。
