现有的汽车坐椅都采用整体或分体软垫，没有鼓风装置。夏季，司乘人员的臀部、背部紧靠坐椅软垫，空气不流通，体温难以散发，使人燥热不安、中暑、患皮肤病，容易引发交通事故。

冬季，将衬有海绵或弹性保暖物质（9）的坐垫罩（8）和靠垫罩（7）分别套在坐垫架（3）、靠垫架（1）上。
