8. The air conditioner housing assembly of claim 2, wherein the second connection structure is a through hole and is disposed at a position of the first cover portion adjacent to the second cover portion, and the first connection structure is a threaded post and is connected to the back plate.
9. The air conditioner housing assembly of any one of claims 2-8, wherein an outer surface of the back plate further has a catch groove in communication with the second bezel and located beyond an edge of the second cover portion.

A window air conditioner, characterized in that the window air conditioner comprises an inner machine part adapted to be provided on the indoor side and an outer machine part adapted to be provided on the outdoor side, the housing of the inner machine part being a housing assembly according to any one of claims 1-9.
