Description

Vehicle seat with longitudinal adjustment device
Technical Field
The utility model relates to a saddle with vertical adjusting device.
Background
A longitudinally adjustable vehicle seat in a motor vehicle serves in particular as a front seat. Generally, the seat cushion (seat part) is fixed to an upper rail which is longitudinally adjustable relative to a lower rail provided at the bottom of the vehicle and is locked in different longitudinal positions by longitudinal locking means, which are normally spring-biased in a locking position. In the case of an unlocking device to be actuated by the passenger, an unlocking lever is generally provided, which is deflected upwards by the passenger against the spring pretension of the longitudinal locking device in order to effect unlocking. The unlocking device has a vertically adjustable unlocking element, for example an unlocking pin, which is arranged on the head rail and is pressed into the head rail from top to bottom in order to unlock the door. When the unlocking lever is released, the longitudinal adjustment device is automatically locked again in the corresponding longitudinal position.
In the event of a crash, in particular a rear-end crash, a sudden acceleration of the superstructure of the vehicle seat, i.e. in particular the seat cushion comprising the upper rail, relative to the lower rail can occur. The longitudinal locking device must be able to reliably receive such accelerations so as to prevent accidental unlocking. However, in such a crash situation different forces and moments may occur, which may act on the unlocking lever and may act in different directions, for example in a deformation, so that there is a risk of the unlocking pin being accidentally manipulated.
EP 1 960 229 A1 discloses a rail arrangement for receiving a vehicle seat arrangement, having a rail mechanism, wherein a fixed rail is provided for fastening to a base and an adjustable rail is received in the fixed rail. A locking device is provided on the adjustable rail, wherein an actuating member is mounted on the adjustable rail in a pivotable manner and is connected to the locking device, so that a longitudinal adjustability is achieved. A safety arrangement extends between the locking device and the operator, the safety arrangement disengaging the operator from the locking device when the operator is adjusted or depressed beyond a normal range of motion.
CN 104986067A describes a protection device for a rear impact of a motor vehicle. The upper rail is accommodated in the lower rail, wherein an energy absorption device is connected to the locking mechanism of the rail system via a flat plate. A locking pin is fixedly connected to the locking mechanism, wherein the flat plate part is provided with a first connecting part and the locking pin is provided with a second connecting part. In a rear collision, the locking mechanism is locked with the first connecting member separated from the second connecting member, and with the upper rail slidable relative to the flat plate member. In this way, the energy-absorbing device is able to absorb energy, in particular to protect the neck of a passenger. In the seat adjustment, the locking mechanism is unlocked and the second connecting part is clamped or connected to the first connecting part, wherein the flat plate and the upper rail cannot be adjusted relative to one another.
US 2019/0061567 A1 describes a vehicle seat having a seat cushion, a backrest and a seat adjusting device for adjusting the seat cushion in the longitudinal direction, wherein a seat position detector is provided. The seat adjusting device has an upper rail and a lower rail, wherein an operating lever and a clamp for carrying the operating lever are arranged on the upper rail. The clamp comprises a first part carrying the operating lever, and a second part constructed integrally with the first part, wherein the seat position detector is fixed to the second part. Here, a curved slit separates the first part from the second part.
Such systems in principle achieve resilience in the event of a rear collision; however, on the one hand, this complex solution is relatively costly and, on the other hand, an indirect locking is achieved by means of the clip and the different components.
DE 10 2006 03505 A1 discloses a manually longitudinally adjustable motor vehicle seat with rail pairs arranged on both sides. The rail pair is composed of a lower rail fixed to the vehicle body and an upper rail fixed to the seat member and longitudinally movable in the lower rail, and the upper rail may be fixed to the lower rail by a locking member. The locking member may be operated by an unlocking member which is connected to the unlocking lever in a deflectable manner by means of a support member. The unlocking lever is located in a rotationally fixed manner on an unlocking shaft, the end of which is rotatably mounted in a bracket projecting from the head rail.
DE 10 2020 112 A1 discloses a longitudinal adjuster for a seat, in particular a vehicle seat, having a rail pair which comprises a lower rail and an upper rail which is movably arranged on the lower rail. A locking mechanism for locking the rail pair and an actuating element coupled to the locking mechanism are also provided, the actuating element comprising at least two segments. One of the sections is movably arranged on the other section, wherein one of the sections can be moved relative to the other section at least from a use position into a non-use position.
DE 20 2007 001 394 U1 discloses a seat adjusting lever with an adjusting arm for an adjusting movement in an adjusting plane and a guide arm which is designed as an end-side extension of the adjusting arm. A connecting element is provided between the actuating arm and the guide arm, which connecting element acts as a predetermined breaking point for forces acting on the guide arm in a direction substantially perpendicular to the actuating plane.
DE 10 2016 212 A1 discloses a longitudinal adjuster for a vehicle seat, which has at least two rail pairs, which are formed by a lower rail and an upper rail fixed to the seat. The seat tracks will be looped around each other and can move relative to each other in the longitudinal direction. The seat rails of each seat rail pair can be locked to one another by means of a locking device which is actuated by an actuating device comprising a transmission rod arranged between the two rail locking devices.
SUMMERY OF THE UTILITY MODEL
An object of the utility model is to provide a saddle with vertical adjusting device, on the one hand realize vertical reliable locking of its one side, on the other hand ensure high security in the collision accident, especially the collision of knocking into the back, prevent unexpected unblock.
Accordingly, in order to unlock the rail longitudinal locking device, the user operates the unlocking lever to press the unlocking pin. The unlocking lever has a deformation region which is preferably formed in the rear lever arm of the unlocking lever. The deformation region enables the transmission of forces and torques in a manner that does not damage the unlocking lever, for the intended unlocking and also for the resetting into the locking position. Furthermore, it is preferable that the user's wrong operation (misose) is also received without damage.
However, in the event of a crash, in particular a rear impact, in which a high force and moment act on the lever arm, the deformation region is deformed. The deformation region is deformed to such an extent, in particular in a rear collision, that the force can no longer be transmitted to the unlocking pin in the vertical direction by this deformation region and the other regions of the lever arm.
In this way, both normal handling (including incorrect operation) and crash safety are ensured with low complexity, preventing the occurrence of an inadmissible unlocking. The cross section of the deformation region is in particular smaller than the adjacent lever arm region, so that the transmitted forces and moments do not load the adjacent regions, but rather the deformation region is loaded in a targeted manner.
By forming the deformation region directly in the unlocking lever, in particular also a higher level of safety is achieved than in the case of the solution with the addition of elements, springs and other components which require correspondingly precise positioning and adjustment. In particular in comparison with US 2019/0061567 A1, whereby a simpler but still safe structure is achieved. Higher safety is also achieved compared to solutions with additional elements as in US 2019/0061567 A1, since such additional plates, clamps, etc. may move and fall out relative to each other in the event of a collision; furthermore, according to the invention, it is preferred not to add connections, screw connections, etc., which may be loosened.
According to one advantageous embodiment, the deformation region has a weakening slot which can be deflected in a targeted manner and opened in the event of a rear collision. The weakening slit can extend in particular rearward from the front side of the rear lever arm and leaves a web for transmitting forces and moments of normal actuation. A rear impact then leads to a forward longitudinal acceleration of the lower rail or, correspondingly, to a rearward acceleration of the seat part containing the unlocking lever and the upper rail relative to the lower rail. By constructing the weakening slot open forward, the slot is allowed to open further under the load of a rear collision and thereby cause rapid deformation before forces and moments can act perpendicularly on the unlocking pin. In this case, the web can act like a hinge and effect an upward bending, wherein the contact region that contacts the unlocking pin is bent upward.
The weakening slits are less difficult to construct and achieve targeted weakening and deformation under corresponding loads. The weakening slits are preferably linear.
Preferably, the unlocking lever or its rear lever arm is pressed directly onto the unlocking pin. This eliminates the need for additional plates, frames or transmission members, which are prone to failure and add additional cost and installation expense.
When the user releases the unlocking lever, the longitudinal locking means is spring-biased in its locking position, whereby a secure locking is achieved. The size of the deformation region can be designed such that the deformation region can absorb both the actuating force of the user and the pretensioning force for the return.
The unlocking lever is preferably disposed under the seat cushion and projects forward for use from the seat position. The vehicle seat preferably also has a height adjustment device.

Detailed Description
The vehicle seat 1 of the motor vehicle is designed as a manually adjustable front seat. The vehicle seat 1 has a seat cushion 2, a backrest 3 attached to the seat cushion 2, which backrest is articulated, for example, in a pivotable manner, and a rail system 4.
The rail system 4 has two lower rails 6, i.e. left and right lower rails 6, to be fixed to the bottom of the vehicle, and two upper rails 7 accommodated in the lower rails 6 in a longitudinally adjustable manner, i.e. in the X direction, each locked relative to the lower rails 6 by means of a longitudinal locking device 9. Fig. 2 shows a longitudinal locking device 9, for unlocking the upper rail 7, an unlocking device 8 which can be manually actuated by the driver being provided.
The unlocking device 8 has an unlocking lever 10 to be actuated by the driver, which presses an unlocking pin 12, which is shown in the partially enlarged portion a of fig. 2, down into the upper rail 7. The longitudinal locking device 9 between the upper rail 7 and the lower rail 6 is unlocked by the unlocking pin 12, so that the driver can then adjust the vehicle seat or the seat cushion 2 containing the upper rail 7 in the longitudinal direction X relative to the lower rail 6. The longitudinal locking means 9 is pre-tensioned in its locking position; the driver thus actuates the unlocking lever 10 in a manner overcoming this spring pretensioning, the longitudinal locking device 9 being automatically locked again when the unlocking lever is released.
In the case of the vehicle seat 1, it is basically possible to provide longitudinal locking devices 9 between the upper rail 7 and the lower rail 6 on only one side, and thus on the right side of the driver as shown in fig. 1, or on both sides (i.e. left and right side), so that the unlocking device 8 acts accordingly only on one side or on both sides. The two upper rails 7 are connected by a cross bar 11 extending in the transverse or Y-direction.
The unlocking lever 10 has a rear lever arm 14 which is deflected downward during actuation of the unlocking lever 10, so that the unlocking pin 12 is pressed downward into the upper rail 7. A deformation region 13 is provided in the rear lever arm 14. For this purpose, a weakening slit 15 is formed in the rear lever arm 14, which extends in the lever arm 14 from the front to the rear. This leaves a weakened connecting piece 16 at this location of the rear lever arm 14. The rear lever arm 14 is divided by a weakening slit 15 into an outer abutment region 14a, which abuts the unlocking pin 12, and an inner lever arm region 14b. The abutment region 14a is therefore connected to the lever arm region 14b only by a weakened, resilient connecting piece 16, which can be deformed like a hinge.
The weakening slit 15 does not emerge during normal actuation, i.e. during the deflection of the unlocking lever 10, in which the rear lever arm 14 is deflected downwards and thereby presses the unlocking pin 12 downwards, and under normal load of the rail system 4. The connecting piece 16 is sufficiently stable to transmit these movements, actuating forces and actuating torques. Even if the user operates the lock by mistake, the lock cannot be unlocked any more.
In a rear-end collision, the vehicle together with the lower rail 6 is moved forward in the longitudinal direction X; therefore, the seat 1 including the seat cushion 2, the occupant, the lock release device 8, and the upper rail 7 is accelerated rearward relative to the lower rail 6 by inertia. Thus, even in the region of the unlocking lever 10, the unlocking pin 12 and the upper rail 7, considerable forces and moments occur which, without the rear lever arm 14 being weakened, can lead to an unintentional actuation of the unlocking pin 12 and thus to the release of the longitudinal locking device 9. However, due to the high forces acting in the longitudinal direction X, the connecting web 16 between the abutment region 14a of the lever arm 14 and the further lever arm region 14b is deformed without the abutment region 14a thereby being pressed downward and the unlocking pin 12 being actuated. In this case, the web 16 can act in particular like a hinge, so that the outer abutment region 14a bends upwards and thus detaches the locking pin 12 further.
Therefore, even in the event of a crash, in particular, in a rear-end collision, no accidental actuation of the unlocking device 8 is caused, since the unlocking pin 12 is not pressed downward.
