The trim assembly of claim 1, wherein the attachment slot extends in a first direction, the attachment slot including a first contact surface and a second contact surface spaced apart in a second direction, a side of the first attachment portion adjacent the first contact surface in the second direction abutting the first contact surface, a side of the second attachment portion adjacent the second contact surface in the second direction abutting the second contact surface, a side of the first attachment portion distal from the first contact surface in the second direction abutting the second attachment portion distal from the second contact surface in the second direction, the first direction being perpendicular to the second direction.

The trim assembly of claim 2, wherein the connector includes at least a first rib and at least a second rib, the connector slot including first and second side walls spaced apart in the second direction, the first rib being disposed on the first side wall, the second rib being disposed on the second side wall, the first contact surface being disposed on the first rib, and the second contact surface being disposed on the second rib.

The trim assembly of claim 1, wherein the attachment slot includes a first section and a second section, the first section extending in a first direction, the first attachment portion being engaged in the first section, the second section extending in the first direction, the second attachment portion being engaged in the second section.

The trim component of claim 4, wherein the first segment includes a third contact surface and a fourth contact surface spaced apart in the second direction, the first connection portion abutting the third contact surface on a side adjacent the third contact surface in the second direction, the first connection portion abutting the fourth contact surface on a side adjacent the fourth contact surface in the second direction;
the second section comprises a fifth contact surface and a sixth contact surface which are arranged at intervals in the second direction, one side, adjacent to the fifth contact surface, of the second connecting portion in the second direction is abutted against the fifth contact surface, one side, adjacent to the sixth contact surface, of the second connecting portion in the second direction is abutted against the sixth contact surface, and the first direction is perpendicular to the second direction.

The trim assembly of claim 5, wherein the connector includes at least one third rib, at least one fourth rib, at least one fifth rib, and at least one sixth rib, the connector slot includes a first sidewall surface and a second sidewall surface spaced apart in the second direction, the third rib and the fifth rib are both disposed on the first sidewall surface, the fourth rib and the sixth rib are both disposed on the second sidewall surface, the third contact surface is disposed on the third rib, the fourth contact surface is disposed on the fourth rib, the fifth contact surface is disposed on the fifth rib, and the sixth contact surface is disposed on the sixth rib.

The trim component of any of claims 1-6, wherein the attachment slot includes a bottom wall surface and a seventh contact surface, the seventh contact surface being provided on the bottom wall surface, at least one of the first and second attachment portions being in contact with the seventh contact surface.
8. A decorative assembly according to claim 7, wherein said connecting member includes at least one seventh rib, said seventh rib being provided on said bottom wall surface, said seventh contact surface being provided on said seventh rib.
9. A vehicle door comprising a door body and the trim assembly of any of claims 1-8, the vehicle body comprising the door body, the first trim panel and the second trim panel being mounted to the door body.
10. A vehicle, characterized in that it comprises a decorative assembly according to any one of claims 1-9.
