Abstract

Background

7. The steering column assembly of claim 1, wherein the actuation mechanism comprises an electric motor including a rotor and a stator, the sun gear being fixedly coupled to and coaxially disposed with the rotor, and the ring gear or the planet carrier being fixedly coupled to the stator.
8. The steering column assembly of claim 1, further comprising an angle or torque signal sensor, a collapse mechanism, a column adjustment mechanism.
9. A steer-by-wire system, comprising:
