Description

Motor support
Technical Field
The present disclosure relates to a motor bracket for supporting or mounting a motor.
Background
In practice, electric motors, in particular heavy-duty electric motors, are usually mounted on brackets, and then mounted into a frame system by means of said brackets. For example, in a motor vehicle such as a construction machine, a motor of a fan of a cooling system is generally mounted on a fixing plate, and the fixing plate is fixed to a fan bracket via a plurality of spacers or spacers, for example, by welding. Such a mounting structure is liable to cause stress at the mounting site and may be affected by vibration to malfunction or fail.
Document CN206475836U discloses a motor controller transition support, which includes a special-shaped fixing support that can be detachably and fixedly connected with a motor controller, where the special-shaped fixing support includes a direction support and L-shaped supports that are located at four corners on the same side of the square support and are arranged oppositely, and the outer sides of two adjacent L-shaped supports are fixedly connected with the L-shaped fixing supports. Such a bracket is cumbersome in construction and may still create stress concentrations and vibration failures.
Disclosure of Invention
The present disclosure provides a bracket that can be used to mount an electric motor, particularly a heavy-duty electric motor, and then secure the motor to a larger system, such as a system frame or a fixed bracket.
In particular, the present disclosure relates to a motor bracket including a base plate and a leg extending substantially perpendicularly with respect to the base plate to define a receiving space for mounting a motor together with the base plate, wherein the leg is connected to the base plate through a transition portion in a circular arc shape, and the leg is formed integrally with the base plate.
The motor bracket has the advantages that the structure is simplified, the manufacturing cost is reduced, meanwhile, the strength and the installation flexibility of the motor bracket are improved, and the risks of deformation and resonance of the motor bracket are avoided.
Drawings
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a motor bracket carrying a motor according to the present disclosure;
FIG. 2 is a top view of the motor mount of FIG. 1;
fig. 3 is a bottom view of the motor bracket of fig. 1.
Detailed Description
Embodiments of the present disclosure are described below with reference to the drawings.
The bracket of the present disclosure is particularly useful for mounting an electric motor so as to act as a mount for securing the motor in a larger system or structure. Of course, the bracket of the present disclosure may also be used as a mounting support for other components or assemblies having appropriate dimensions.
As shown in fig. 1, the motor bracket of the present disclosure may include a base plate 1 for carrying a motor 10 and legs 2 extending from the base plate 1. The leg 2 extends substantially perpendicularly with respect to the base plate 1, so that the leg 2 defines, together with the base plate 1, a receiving space for mounting the motor 10.
It is noted herein that the term "substantially" with the prefix is to be understood broadly. For example, the expression "substantially vertical" herein means that the leg 2 and the base plate 1 are respectively in mutually orthogonal orientations or planes (e.g., horizontal plane and vertical plane), and the angle formed between the leg 2 and the base plate 1 is not limited to 90 °.
In addition, it should be noted that the number of legs 2 in the motor bracket of the present disclosure is not limited to four shown in the drawings, but a greater or lesser number of legs 2 may be included. For example, the motor mount may include two, three, five, six, or more legs.
According to the present disclosure, the leg 2 is connected to the base plate 1 by a circular arc-shaped transition portion 3, and is formed integrally with the base plate 1. Thus, the motor bracket of the present disclosure is in the form of a one-piece or unitary member. The motor bracket may be formed, for example, by cutting a leg out of a metal plate as a blank and then bending the leg.
As can be seen in particular from fig. 1, 3, preferably, the motor bracket of the present disclosure may comprise a reinforcing rib 4 provided at each transition 3, said reinforcing rib 4 may be in the form of a substantially triangular plate and may be connected and fixed to the respective leg 2 and base plate 1, for example by welding.
In the embodiment shown in fig. 1-3, the base plate 1 has a substantially rectangular shape and four legs 2 are provided at four corners of the base plate 1.
Here, the reinforcing ribs 4 at two legs 2 opposing along a longitudinal edge (i.e. the long side of the rectangle, i.e. the edge on the left and right in fig. 1-3) of the base plate 1 may preferably be interconnected by a reinforcement, in particular a tubular reinforcement 5. In the embodiment shown in the figures, the motor bracket may comprise two reinforcement members 5.
Said tubular reinforcement 5 may be formed by a metal tube open at both ends and may be connected to the respective reinforcing rib 4, for example by snapping into a groove formed in the respective reinforcing rib 4.
It is also preferred that each leg 2 can be bent at the end in a direction away from the base plate 1, as shown in fig. 1-3, thereby forming an end bent portion 21 extending away from the base plate 1 and parallel to the base plate 1, in order to facilitate mounting of the motor bracket to a larger structure or system. As such, the motor mount of the present disclosure may have an overall shape similar to a turtle.
The distal bent portions 21 of the legs 2 may have through holes or slots for the passage of connecting members such as screws.
In the embodiment as shown in the figures, the two end bent portions 21 of the two legs 2 (i.e., the two legs 2 whose reinforcing ribs 3 are connected by the reinforcing member 5) located at both ends of the same longitudinal edge of the base plate 1 may be configured such that one of the bent portions 21 has a through hole and the other bent portion 21 has an open slot, particularly a slot extending in the longitudinal direction, for adjusting the mounting position thereof when mounting the motor bracket in a larger structure or system.
As shown in fig. 2-3, each edge of the base plate 1, in particular the longitudinal edge along which the tubular reinforcement 5 extends, may be configured with its central portion set back relative to the end portions, thereby creating a space for facilitating operations by a user, such as mounting the motor, mounting or dismounting the connection wires of the motor, etc.
Still referring to fig. 2-3, the center of the base plate 1 may preferably have a through opening for e.g. the output shaft of a power supply to pass through.
INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY
The motor bracket of the present disclosure may advantageously receive the motor within its interior and, in turn, secure the motor to a larger structure or system. The design of the reinforcing ribs and the tubular reinforcing member of the motor bracket can be used for favorably increasing the strength of the bracket, reducing the deformation of the bracket and avoiding resonance caused by the operation of the motor.
The design of the base plate 1 and the supporting legs 2 of the motor support of the present disclosure significantly simplifies the structure of the motor support, and reduces the cost of the motor support.
The structure of the base plate 1 of the motor bracket of the present disclosure, such as the design of the central opening thereof and the central indented portion of the longitudinal edge, increases the operational convenience of the user.
The structure of the leg 2 of the motor bracket of the present disclosure, such as the design of the end bent portion 21 and its slot, improves the installation convenience and flexibility of the motor bracket.
This description is intended for illustrative purposes only, and should not be construed to limit the scope of the present disclosure in any way. Accordingly, it will be appreciated by those of ordinary skill in the art that changes can be made to the specific embodiments disclosed without departing from the full and fair scope and spirit of the disclosure. Other aspects, features and advantages will be apparent from the accompanying drawings and from the appended claims.
