The front portion of the top cover 11 includes a pair of engagement arms 111 and a gap 112 between the pair of engagement arms 111. The notch 112 has a pair of side edges 1121 and a rear edge 1122 extending in the left-right direction. The transverse distance L1 between the pair of side edges 1121 is greater than 1/2 of the axial length L2 of the brush roll 12. The rear edge 1122 of the top cover 11 is located directly above the highest point 120 of the brush roll 12.
With continued reference to fig. 3, the brush roller 12 has a tubular core 121 and a bristle layer 122 covering the outer peripheral wall surface of the core 121. The brush roller 12 is arranged at the brush roller chamber 18 so as to be rotatable about a brush roller axis X1. One end portion of the brush roller 12 is rotatably supported on an inner wall surface of the front portion 1031, and the other end portion of the brush roller 12 is coupled to a rotary joint 141 inside the second side portion 104. The lower and front portions of the brush roll 12 will be exposed through the lower and front openings 181 and 182, respectively. The front opening 182 is configured to increase the contact area between the bristle layer 122 and the air, thereby increasing the evaporation rate of the moisture in the bristle layer 122.
The side brush 13 is rotatably mounted on the outer wall surface of the front portion 1031. The lower portion of the brushroll 12 passes out of the lower opening 181 so that the bristle layer 122 contacts the surface to be cleaned. The side brush 13 includes a brush holder 131 and a cleaning member 132 disposed on the brush holder 131. The side brush 13 is rotatably supported about a horizontal axis X2 at the outer wall surface of the front portion 1031. The horizontal axis X2 is aligned with the brush roller axis X1. The cleaning members 132 have portions projecting laterally outwardly to make contact with the wall when the front portion 1031 of the first side portion 103 is moved to the wall. The cleaning members 132 include at least one of bristle tufts, a blade, a wiping pad, and a sponge strip.
As shown in fig. 3-4, in this example, a drive connection 1033 is provided at the front portion 1031, by means of which drive connection 1033 the side brushes 13 are coupled to the brush roller 12. Side brushes 13, front portion 1031, and brush roll 12 can form an assembly 200, and assembly 200 is configured to be removable from housing 10 as a unitary assembly after cover 11 is removed from housing 10.
As shown in fig. 5, the second wiper strip 19 projects into the brush roller chamber 18 and abuts the bristle layer 122 of the brush roller 12, the part of the brush roller chamber 18 between the second wiper strip 19 and the lower opening 181 being in fluid flow communication with the suction channel 29. One end of the flow blocking bar 113 is also in contact with the bristle layer 122 of the brush roll 12, and the flow blocking bar 113 is configured to block excess cleaning liquid not absorbed by the bristle layer 122 of the brush roll 12 from flowing out of the front opening 182. In terms of the rotational direction R of the brush roller 12, the second wiper strip 19 is located downstream of the lower opening 181, the choke strip 113 is located downstream of the second wiper strip 19, and the front opening 182 is located downstream of the choke strip 113.
As shown in fig. 6, the cleaning base 1 is provided with a motor 14 for driving the brush roller 12 and the side brushes 13 to rotate. The motor 14 is located inside the housing 10 and is drivingly connected to the rotary joint 141 to drive the brush roller 12 and the side brushes 13. Also disposed within the cleaning base 1 are a liquid pump 30, a branch valve 31, a main passage 32 communicating the liquid pump 34 with the plurality of first liquid supply nozzles 33, and a branch flow passage 34 communicating the main passage 32 with the second liquid supply nozzles 35, the branch valve 31 being disposed in the branch flow passage 34. The bypass valve 31 is configured to: when the first side 103 contacts the wall, the main channel 32 is communicated with the branch channel 34 to provide the cleaning liquid to the second liquid supply nozzle 35; when the first side 103 is separated from the wall, the primary channel 32 is blocked from fluid communication with the bypass channel 34. When the first side 103 of the cleaning head 1 is moved into contact with the wall, the bypass valve 31 is triggered to open, and the cleaning liquid reaches the plurality of first liquid supply nozzles 33 and the plurality of second liquid supply nozzles 35 simultaneously; the cleaning fluid from the first plurality of nozzles 33 wets the brush roller 12, and the brush roller 12 cleans the floor with the cleaning fluid. The cleaning liquid from the second nozzle 35 wets the cleaning members 132 of the side brushes 13, and the rotating side brushes 13 clean the floor and the wall at the same time.

a brush roller (12) having a peripheral surface covered with a liquid-wettable bristle layer (122), said brush roller (12) being rotatably disposed in said brush roller chamber (18) about a brush roller axis (X1), a lower portion and a front portion of said brush roller (12) being exposed from said lower opening (181) and said front opening (182), respectively;
wherein the front portion of the top cover (11) comprises a pair of engaging arms (111) and a gap (112) between the pair of engaging arms (111), the gap (112) has a pair of side edges (1121) and a rear edge (1122) extending in the left-right direction, the front opening (182) of the brush roller chamber (18) is at least partially defined by a pair of side edges (1121) and a rear edge (1122) of the gap (112), the lateral distance between the pair of side edges (1121) is greater than 1/2 of the axial length of the brush roller (12), and the rear edge (1122) is located near the highest point of the brush roller (12).
