The suction motor 25 is activated and creates a negative pressure on the fluid path from the lower opening 181 to the suction motor 25. Under the negative pressure, the dirty liquid at the lower opening 181 and the dirty liquid scraped by the second wiper strip 19 reach the dirty liquid tank 23 through the dirty liquid recovery path and are stored therein.
When the surface cleaning apparatus 100 is used to clean a wall, the liquid pump 30 is activated and the cleaning liquid in the solution tank 22 is dispensed to the first nozzle 33 by the liquid pump 30. The drive means 14 is activated to simultaneously rotate the brush rolls 12 and the side brushes 13.
The liquid dispensing means 31 is triggered to open and the seal 15 is applied to the wall surface to close the open mouth 161 of the side brush chamber 16 and to render the side brush chamber 16 semi-closed. Part of the cleaning liquid in the main flow passage 32 is delivered to the second liquid supply nozzle 35 through the branch flow passage 34, the cleaning liquid of the second liquid supply nozzle 35 wets the cleaning member 132 of the side brush 13, and the rotating cleaning member 132 cleans the surface to be cleaned (wall, floor, corner, etc.) contacted through the opening 161, the lower opening 162 and the front opening 163 of the side brush chamber 16. The cleaning fluid from first fluid supply nozzle 33 wets brush roller 12, and brush roller 12 cleans the floor surface with the cleaning fluid.
The suction motor 25 is activated and creates a negative pressure on the fluid path from the lower opening 181 to the suction motor 25. The side brush chamber 16 communicates with the lower opening 181 through the notch 1033 to form a stable negative pressure in the side brush chamber 16. Under the action of the negative pressure, the dirty liquid (including the wall and the floor) near the side brush chamber 16 enters the inside of the side brush chamber 16 and reaches the lower opening 181 through the notch 1033. The dirty liquid at the lower opening 181 and the dirty liquid scraped by the second wiper strip 19 reach and are stored in the dirty liquid tank 23 through the recovery path by the negative pressure.
The above embodiments are only for illustrating the technical idea and features of the present invention, and the purpose of the present invention is to enable those skilled in the art to understand the content of the present invention and implement the present invention, and not to limit the protection scope of the present invention by this means. All equivalent changes and modifications made according to the spirit of the present invention should be covered within the protection scope of the present invention.
