Description

Sanitary insert
Technical Field
The invention relates to a sanitary insert for insertion into an accessory water outlet, wherein the sanitary insert has at least one at least partially elastic sealing element which seals off an area outside a flow path in a mounting position in the accessory water outlet. The sanitary insert can be designed, for example, as a jet regulator.
Background
Sanitary inserts of this type are already known. The fitting outlet is usually equipped with the same type of insert in order to provide the outgoing water jet with the desired characteristics. Sanitary inserts are wear parts which have to be replaced regularly, since they are limited in their functionality after a period of time, for example due to dirt. Replacement inserts are usually sold loosely in the packaging. In this case, the sealing element always comes loose from the housing of the insert. This often leads to the problem that the user unintentionally reinserts the insert into the fitting outlet without losing the detached sealing element. In some cases, the sealing element can also be arranged in a specific orientation, so that the user can therefore also install the sealing element incorrectly. In both cases, finally, malfunctions and in particular leaks through the outflowing water can occur.
SUMMERY OF THE UTILITY MODEL
It is therefore an object to provide a sanitary insert with improved use properties.
According to the invention, the solution to this task is solved by a sanitary insert.
In particular, according to the invention, a sanitary insert is proposed for insertion into a fitting outlet, wherein the sanitary insert has at least one at least partially elastic sealing element which, in a mounted position of the sanitary insert in the fitting outlet, seals off a region outside the flow path, characterized in that the at least one sealing element has an elastic pressing section and the sealing element has a retaining section which is designed at a distance from the pressing section and is used to fasten the at least one sealing element to a housing of the sanitary insert. This has the advantage that the sealing element does not undesirably loosen from the housing of the insert during transport of the sanitary insert. This further prevents a user who wants to fit the sanitary insert in the outlet of the fitting from unintentionally removing and/or inserting the sealing element in a wrong orientation. Thus, the use properties of the sanitary insert are improved. The fastening can be, for example, form-locking, in particular with play, for example in order to avoid overdeterminations.
According to an advantageous embodiment, the at least one sealing element can have at least one upper sealing surface and at least one lower sealing surface. In this way, at least one axial seal between the fitting outlet and the sanitary insert can be formed by means of the at least one sealing element, so that the outflow of water from the flow path of the sanitary insert can be better prevented.
In order to be able to fix the sanitary insert better on the fitting outlet, it can be provided according to a further advantageous embodiment that the sanitary insert has a fastening means which can be connected in the installed position to a mating fastening means of the fitting outlet, so that the sanitary insert can be fixed or already fixed in the fitting outlet. Preferably, the fastening means can be configured as a thread which can be screwed into a matching mating thread. Furthermore, it is preferred that at least one contact point between the fastening means and the mating fastening means can be sealed by means of the at least one sealing element. It can thus be better ensured that the water flowing through the sanitary insert in the installed position flows only through the flow path, and not laterally past it, which on the one hand has a negative effect on the appearance of the outgoing water jet and on the other hand can also lead to damage to the outlet fitting.
According to a further advantageous embodiment, it can be provided that the upper sealing surface is exposed to the outside, in particular so that in the installed position it can directly contact a stop on the outlet of the fitting. Alternatively or additionally thereto, the at least one sealing element may be arranged on the inflow side of the sanitary insert, in order to be able to achieve a better sealing of the flow path at the beginning of the flow path.
In order to be able to achieve a particularly good fastening of the sealing element to the housing, it can be provided according to an advantageous development that the at least one retaining section projects radially inward from the pressing section and/or in the flow direction, in particular is integrally formed on the pressing section. This has the advantage that the pressing section required for sealing is spatially separated from the holding section.
In order to be able to achieve a particularly good fastening of the sealing element to the housing, it can be provided according to an advantageous embodiment that the sanitary insert has a pressing element on the inflow side, which is fastened, in particular releasably fastened, to the housing by means of at least one fastening element. Preferably, the fastening element is a pin, preferably a pin inserted into a corresponding recess on the pressing element. The holding section can be arranged, in particular positively arranged, and/or clamped between the pressing element and the housing. The pressing element can preferably be designed as a screen which is arranged upstream of the flow path or inside the flow path on the inflow side, for example, in order to prevent the ingress of dirt particles.
According to an advantageous development, it can be provided that the at least one fastening element, preferably a pin, is arranged at least partially inside the flow path through the sanitary insert.
According to an advantageous development, it can be provided that the at least one fastening element, preferably a pin, is formed or arranged on the disintegration device, which is arranged in particular on the inflow side. Thus, locations may be provided for other functional units within the flow path.
In order to be able to achieve a particularly good fastening of the sealing element to the housing, it can be provided according to an advantageous embodiment that the at least one retaining section is designed to be circumferential and/or undercut. For example, the clampable and/or loadable edge can be designed in order to be able to better hold the sealing element on the housing, in particular without clamping the pressure section in order to fix the sealing element on the housing.
In order to be able to realize a particularly cost-effective design of the sealing element, it can be provided according to an advantageous further development that the at least one pressing section and the at least one holding section are made of the same material. Preferably, the sealing element can be designed as a sealing ring.
The invention also relates to the use of a sealing element having at least one pressing section and at least one holding section which is formed at a distance from the pressing section, wherein the at least one pressing section, preferably only the at least one pressing section, serves to seal a transition from a fitting outlet to a sanitary insert, in particular a sanitary insert as described and/or claimed herein, wherein the sealing element is fastened to a housing of the sanitary insert by the at least one holding section, preferably only by the at least one holding section.
According to an advantageous development, it can be provided that the axial seal between the outlet of the fitting and the sanitary insert is formed by a sealing element. Preferably, the axial seal can be designed such that the upper sealing surface of the sealing element contacts, in particular seals around, the water outlet of the fitting and/or the lower sealing surface contacts, in particular seals around, the housing of the sanitary insert.
Finally, the invention relates to the use of a retaining section, which is integrally formed on an extruded section of the sealing element of the sanitary insert, for securing the sealing element, preferably in a form-fitting manner, to the housing of the sanitary insert during transport into the position of use of the sanitary insert.
The invention will now be described in more detail with reference to a number of embodiments, to which, however, the invention is not limited.

Detailed Description
Fig. 1 to 8 show several embodiments of partially different designs of a sanitary insert, which is designated in each case as a whole by 1. In this case, the sanitary inserts are each designed as jet regulators.
The sanitary inserts 1 shown are each provided for insertion into a fitting outlet 2. In order to be able to seal the transition 22 between the housing 7 of the sanitary insert 1 and the stop 13 of the fitting outlet 2 in the installed position, the sanitary insert 1 has at least one at least partially elastically designed sealing element 3. As shown in fig. 1 to 8, the at least one sealing element 3 is preferably configured as at least one sealing ring. By means of the sealing element 3, the formation of leaks is prevented in the installed position in that water enters from the provided flow path 4 through the sanitary insert 1 into the region outside said sanitary insert.
The sealing element 3 has at least one elastic pressing section 5 and at least one retaining section 6 which is formed at a distance from the pressing section and/or is integrally formed on the pressing section.
In the installed position of the sanitary insert 1, the at least one pressing section 5 serves to seal the previously mentioned transition 22 between the housing 7 of the sanitary insert 1 and the stop 13 of the fitting outlet 2 by being pressed in and/or between the housing and the stop, for example, like a conventional sealing ring.
The at least one retaining section 6 is not intended primarily for sealing, but rather ensures that the sealing element 3 cannot be undesirably released from the housing 7 of the sanitary insert 1, for example during transport thereof, before the sanitary insert 1 is installed and/or when the sanitary insert 1 is transported loosely to its installation site, in particular in a package. The at least one holding section 6 is thus fastened to the housing 7.
The at least one sealing element 3 is arranged on the inflow side 14 of the sanitary insert and/or has at least one upper sealing surface 8 and at least one lower sealing surface 9, so that an axial seal can thereby be established between the fitting outlet 2 and the housing 7 of the sanitary insert in the installed position.
In order to be able to fix the sanitary insert 1 in the fitting outlet 2, the sanitary insert has at least one fastening means 10. The fastening means 10 are preferably formed on the outside of the housing 7. In the embodiment shown in fig. 1 to 8, the at least one fastening means 10 is configured as a thread. In order to establish a fastening on the fitting outlet 2, the fastening means 10 can be effectively connected to a mating fastening means 11 adapted thereto, i.e. for example screwed in particular up to the stop 13. During the fixing process, the pressure section 5 is pressed against the stop 13 of the outlet 2 of the fitting and is finally pressed, so that the two sealing surfaces 8, 9 come into sealing and/or circumferential contact.
The upper sealing surface 8 of the sealing element 3 can thus be exposed to the outside, in particular completely exposed, before the sanitary insert 1 is inserted into the outlet 2 of the fitting. In the installed position of the sanitary insert 1, the upper sealing surface 8 contacts the stop 13.
In the embodiment of the sealing element 3 shown in fig. 1 to 8 and in detail in fig. 9, the at least one retaining section 6 projects radially inward and downward in the flow direction 24. Thus, the outer edge of the sealing element 3 has no retaining section and may preferably only have a sealing function as part of the pressing section 5.
On the inflow side 14 of the sanitary insert 1, a pressing element 15 is arranged, which fastens, in particular clamps and/or latches, the at least one sealing element 3 to the housing 7 via the retaining section 6. The pressing element 15 can be designed, for example, as shown in fig. 1 to 8 as a front-mounted screen and thus has a dual function.
The pressing element 15 has at least one recess 19 into which the at least one fastening element 17 engages, in particular reversibly, in the installed position. A simple and releasable fastening of the sealing element 3 can thus be achieved, which can be released when required, for example in order to replace the sealing element 3. Preferably, the at least one fastening element 17 can be configured as a pin 18. The pin 18 can be releasably inserted into the recess 19 in the installed position and thus fix the pressing element 15 and the sealing element 3 to the housing 7. In this case, the holding section 6 can be fastened, in particular clamped, in a form-fitting manner between the housing 7 and the pressing element 15, as can be seen in the detail view of fig. 9.
In the design of the sanitary insert 1 according to fig. 1 to 6, the pin 18 is designed such that a substantial part of the pin is arranged in the flow path 4.
In the embodiment according to fig. 7 and 8, the bolt 18 is formed on a disassembly apparatus 20, which is arranged in the housing 7 on the inflow side. Thus, a position may be provided for at least one further functional unit within the flow path 4.
However, the fastening of the pressure element 15 is carried out identically in both embodiments.
According to the embodiment shown in fig. 1 to 8, the retaining section 6 of the sealing element 3 is formed in a circumferential manner and/or as an undercut 21.
The at least one pressing section 5 and the at least one holding section 6 can be made of the same material, i.e. both can be at least partially elastically constructed.
The invention therefore relates in particular to a sanitary insert 1 for fastening in a fitting outlet 2, wherein the sanitary insert 1 has at least one at least partially elastic sealing element 3 which seals off a region outside a flow path 4 in a mounted position of the sanitary insert 1 in the fitting outlet 2, wherein the at least one sealing element 3 has an elastic pressing section 5 for sealing and the sealing element 3 has a retaining section 6 which is integrally formed on the pressing section 5 and serves to fasten the at least one sealing element 3 to a housing 7 of the sanitary insert 1.
