SUMMERY OF THE UTILITY MODEL
Problem to be solved by the utility model
However, in the mounting step of mounting the light source substrate and the control substrate to the mounting portion of the lamp housing by thermal caulking, the light source substrate and the control substrate are usually mounted to the mounting portion by caulking jigs at a plurality of positions, respectively, so that the number of mounting positions increases, and accordingly, the number of caulking works increases, and the work in the mounting step takes time, and there is a possibility that the workability is deteriorated.
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to improve workability in a process of mounting a light source substrate and a control substrate to a lamp housing by thermal caulking.
Means for solving the problems
First, a vehicle lamp according to the present invention includes: a lamp housing having a mounting base; a light source substrate on which a light source is mounted; and a control board for controlling the light source to be turned on and off, wherein the lamp housing is provided with a first mounting part and a second mounting part which protrude from the mounting base in opposite directions and on which the light source board and the control board are mounted by thermal riveting, respectively, and the first mounting part and the second mounting part are positioned on the same straight line.
Thus, the caulking jig can be simultaneously pressed from opposite directions against the first mounting portion and the second mounting portion which protrude in opposite directions from the mounting base and are positioned on the same line, and the light source board and the control board can be mounted on the first mounting portion and the second mounting portion, respectively.
Second, it is preferable that the first mounting portion has a first base projection continuous with the mounting base and a first caulking pin projecting from a front end surface of the first base projection, the second mounting portion has a second base projection continuous with the mounting base and a second caulking pin projecting from a front end surface of the second base projection, the first mounting portion is provided with a first reinforcing rib projecting from an outer peripheral surface of the first base projection, and the second mounting portion is provided with a second reinforcing rib projecting from an outer peripheral surface of the second base projection.
Accordingly, since the strength of the first pedestal projection and the second pedestal projection is increased by the first reinforcing rib and the second reinforcing rib, respectively, the first attachment portion and the second attachment portion are less likely to deform when the caulking jig is pressed against the first caulking pin and the second caulking pin, respectively, and the caulking is performed.
Third, it is preferable that the lamp housing is formed of a resin material, a plurality of the first reinforcing ribs and the second reinforcing ribs are separately provided in the circumferential direction, respectively, and the positions of the first reinforcing ribs and the positions of the second reinforcing ribs in the circumferential direction are set to be different positions.
Fourth, preferably, one end of each of the first and second reinforcing ribs is continuous with the mounting base.
Fifth, it is preferable that the position of the first reinforcing rib in the circumferential direction and the position of the second reinforcing rib in the circumferential direction are staggered by 45 degrees.
This can suppress the occurrence of sink marks on the mounting base during molding of the lamp housing.
Sixth, preferably, the vehicular lamp is provided with: a first heat sink plate having a first insertion hole through which the first caulking pin is inserted and attached to the first attachment portion in a state of being in contact with the light source substrate; and a second heat dissipation plate having a second insertion hole through which the second caulking pin is inserted and mounted on the second mounting portion in a state of being in contact with the control board.
Thus, when the caulking jig is pressed against the first caulking pin and the first caulking pin is heat-caulked, the first heat sink is attached to the first attachment portion in addition to the light source substrate, and when the caulking jig is pressed against the second caulking pin and the second caulking pin is heat-caulked, the second heat sink is attached to the second attachment portion in addition to the control substrate.
Seventh, the first heat dissipation plate and the second heat dissipation plate are preferably located on opposite sides with the mounting base interposed therebetween.
Eighth, it is preferable that the first heat sink and the second heat sink be formed by bending a metal material having high heat dissipation properties into a predetermined shape, and include a horizontally long arrangement surface portion, an upper surface portion bent from an upper edge of the arrangement surface portion, and a lower surface portion bent from a lower edge of the arrangement surface portion.
Thus, when the light source is driven by the lighting and extinguishing control of the control board, the heat released from the first heat sink and the second heat sink is separated by the mounting base, and the driving states of the light source and the control board are less likely to be affected by each other.
Effect of the utility model
According to the utility model discloses, can press the riveting anchor clamps simultaneously and install light source base plate and control substrate in the mounting base from opposite direction respectively to the first installation department that protrudes to opposite direction and be located collinear and second installation department, therefore the operating time among the installation procedure shortens, can realize installing light source base plate and control substrate through the improvement of the operation nature in the installation procedure of lamp housing through hot riveting.

A plurality of electronic components, not shown, are mounted on the front surface of the control board 35 so as to be separated in the left-right direction. A connector 38 for power supply is connected to the front surface of the control board 35.
Hereinafter, the assembly procedure of the vehicle lamp 1 configured as described above will be described.
First, the first caulking pins 15, 15 of the first mounting portions 11, 11 of the case 5 are inserted through the first insertion holes 26a, 26a of the first heat sink 25, respectively, and the second caulking pins 18, 18 of the second mounting portions 12, 12 of the case 5 are inserted through the second insertion holes 30a, 30a of the second heat sink 29, respectively, so that the first heat sink 25 and the second heat sink 29 are supported by the first mounting portions 11, 11 and the second mounting portions 12, respectively.
Next, the first caulking pins 15, 15 of the first mounting portions 11, 11 are inserted into the first mounting holes 34a, 34a of the light source substrate 34, respectively, and the second caulking pins 18, 18 of the second mounting portions 12, 12 are inserted into the second mounting holes 35a, 35a of the control substrate 35, respectively, thereby supporting the light source substrate 34 and the control substrate 35 on the first mounting portions 11, 11 and the second mounting portions 12, respectively.
The light source substrate 34 may be bonded to the placement surface portion 26 of the first heat sink 25 with an adhesive having thermal conductivity, and the control substrate 35 may be bonded to the placement surface portion 30 of the second heat sink 29 with an adhesive having thermal conductivity. In this case, the first caulking pins 15, 15 are inserted through the first insertion holes 26a, 26a and the first mounting holes 34a, respectively, and the second caulking pins 18, 18 are inserted through the second insertion holes 30a, 30a and the second mounting holes 35a, respectively, so that the first heat sink 25 and the light source substrate 34 are supported by the first mounting portions 11, and the second heat sink 29 and the control substrate 35 are supported by the second mounting portions 12, 12.
By bonding the light source substrate 34 and the control substrate 35 to the first heat sink 25 and the second heat sink 29 in advance in this manner, the light source substrate 34 and the first heat sink 25 can be simultaneously supported by the first mounting portions 11, and the control substrate 35 and the second heat sink 29 can be simultaneously supported by the second mounting portions 12, and 12. Therefore, the work time and the number of work steps in the assembly work of the vehicle lamp 1 can be reduced.
In a state where the first heat sink 25 and the light source substrate 34 are supported by the first mounting portions 11, and the second heat sink 29 and the control substrate 35 are supported by the second mounting portions 12, and 12, the connection substrate 36 is inserted and arranged in the third arrangement space 5c formed between the partition surface portion 10 and the other side surface portion 9.
The hot riveting is performed by the first and second riveting jigs 50 and 60. The first caulking pin 15 of the first mounting portion 11 is heated and pressed by the first caulking jig 50, and the tip portion of the first caulking pin 15 is deformed, thereby mounting the first heat dissipation plate 25 and the light source substrate 34 to the first mounting portion 11. The second caulking jig 60 heats and presses the second caulking pin 18 of the second mounting portion 12 to deform the distal end portion of the second caulking pin 18, thereby mounting the second heat sink 29 and the control board 35 to the second mounting portion 12.
At this time, although the first caulking pin 15 is pressurized by the first caulking jig 50 and the second caulking pin 18 is pressurized by the second caulking jig 60, since the first mounting portion 11 and the second mounting portion 12 are positioned on the same straight line, the second caulking jig 60 functions as a receiving jig for the pressurization of the first caulking jig 50 and the first caulking jig 50 functions as a receiving jig for the pressurization of the second caulking jig 60 by using the first caulking jig 50 and the second caulking jig 60 at the same time. Accordingly, the first caulking pin 15 and the second caulking pin 18 can be respectively applied with appropriate pressure by the first caulking jig 50 and the second caulking jig 60, and the heat caulking can be performed without using a dedicated receiving jig.
In a state where the first heat sink 25 and the light source substrate 34 are mounted on the first mounting portions 11, 11 and the second heat sink 29 and the control substrate 35 are mounted on the second mounting portions 12, the connector 38 connected to the control substrate 35 is located at a position corresponding to the insertion hole 21b of the front base 21. The first heat sink 25 and the light source substrate 34 are disposed in the first disposition space 5a, the second heat sink 29 and the control substrate 35 are disposed in the second disposition space 5b, and the first heat sink 25, the light source substrate 34, the second heat sink 29 and the control substrate 35 are located on the opposite side with respect to the mounting base 8.
Then, the locking claws 19a and 19a of the locking pieces 19 and 19 of the case 5 are respectively locked to the opening edges of the locking holes 21a and 21a of the cover 6, and the case 5 and the cover 6 are coupled to each other, thereby constituting the lamp housing 2. The attachment screws 70 are inserted through the screw insertion holes 20a of the cover base 20 and screwed into the screwing portions 8a of the attachment base 8, thereby fixing the case 5 and the cover 6 (see fig. 1).
Then, the engaging projections 9a and 9a provided on the side surface portions 9 and 9 of the case 5 are engaged with the opening edges of the engaging holes 24a and 24a formed in the coupling surface portions 24 and 24 of the cover lens 3, respectively, so that the cover lens 3 is coupled to the lamp housing 2, and the vehicle lamp 1 is assembled.
In the vehicle lamp 1, before the case 5 and the cover 6 are coupled to each other, the cover lens 3 may be first coupled to the case 5, and then the case 5 and the cover 6 may be coupled to each other to complete the assembly of the vehicle lamp 1.
In a state where the vehicle lamp 1 is assembled and the vehicle lamp 1 is mounted on the vehicle body as described above, the power cable is connected to the connector 38 through the insertion hole 21b of the front base 21. When a drive current is supplied to the wiring board 33 from a power supply circuit not shown via a power supply cable and the connector 38, light can be emitted from the light sources 37, and … ….
When the light sources 37, … … are turned on/off by the control board 35, the emitted light passes through the cover lens 3 and is irradiated rearward when the light is emitted from the light sources 37, … …. At this time, light is diffused by the lens steps 23a, and … … of the cover lens 3 to irradiate the light.
When the light sources 37, … … are driven, heat is generated from the light source substrate 34, the light sources 37, … …, and the control substrate 35. The heat generated in the light source substrate 34 and the light sources 37, … … is transferred to and released from the first heat dissipation plate 25, and the heat generated in the control substrate 35 is transferred to and released from the second heat dissipation plate 29. The heat released from the first heat sink 25 and the second heat sink 29 is released to the outside of the lamp housing 2 from the heat release holes 20b, and … … formed in the cover base 20 of the lamp housing 2.
As described above, in the vehicle lamp 1, the first mounting portion 11 and the second mounting portion 12 that protrude in opposite directions from the mounting base 8 and to which the light source board 34 and the control board 35 are respectively mounted by heat caulking are provided in the lamp housing 2, and the first mounting portion 11 and the second mounting portion 12 are positioned on the same straight line.
Therefore, the first caulking jig 50 and the second caulking jig 60 can be simultaneously pressed from opposite directions against the first mounting portion 11 and the second mounting portion 12 which protrude in opposite directions from the mounting base 8 and are positioned on the same line, respectively, and the light source substrate 34 and the control substrate 35 can be mounted on the mounting base 8. Accordingly, the work time in the mounting step of mounting the light source substrate 34 and the control substrate 35 to the lamp housing 2 by thermal caulking can be shortened, and the workability in the mounting step can be improved.
The first attachment portion 11 includes a first base projection 13 continuous with the attachment base 8 and a first caulking pin 15 projecting from a front end surface of the first base projection 13, the second attachment portion 12 includes a second base projection 16 continuous with the attachment base 8 and a second caulking pin 18 projecting from a front end surface of the second base projection 16, the first attachment portion 11 is provided with a first reinforcing rib 14 projecting from an outer peripheral surface of the first base projection 13, and the second attachment portion 12 is provided with a second reinforcing rib 17 projecting from an outer peripheral surface of the second base projection 16.
Therefore, since the strength of the first pedestal projection 13 and the second pedestal projection 16 is increased by the first reinforcing rib 14 and the second reinforcing rib 17, respectively, the first attachment portion 11 and the second attachment portion 12 are less likely to deform when the first caulking jig 50 and the second caulking jig 60 are pressed against the first caulking pin 15 and the second caulking pin 18, respectively, and are heat-caulked. This ensures a stable mounting state of the light source substrate 34 and the control substrate 35 to the first mounting portion 11 and the second mounting portion 12.
Further, the lamp housing 2 is formed of a resin material, and a plurality of first reinforcing ribs 14 and second reinforcing ribs 17 are provided separately in the circumferential direction, respectively, and the positions of the first reinforcing ribs 14 and the positions of the second reinforcing ribs 17 in the circumferential direction are set to be different positions.
Therefore, since the sink mark generated in the mounting base 8 at the time of molding the lamp housing 2 can be suppressed, the molding accuracy of the lamp housing 2 can be improved, and the appropriate light distribution state can be ensured by improving the positional accuracy of the light sources 37, … … with respect to the lamp housing 2.
Further, a first heat sink plate 25 and a second heat sink plate 29 are provided, the first heat sink plate 25 having a first insertion hole 26a through which the first caulking pin 15 is inserted and being attached to the first attachment portion 11 in a state of being in contact with the light source substrate 34, and the second heat sink plate 29 having a second insertion hole 30a through which the second caulking pin 18 is inserted and being attached to the second attachment portion 12 in a state of being in contact with the control substrate 35.
Therefore, when the first caulking jig 50 is pressed against the first caulking pin 15 and heat-caulked, the first heat sink 25 is attached to the first attachment portion 11 in addition to the light source board 34, and when the second caulking jig 60 is pressed against the second caulking pin 18 and heat-caulked, the second heat sink 29 is attached to the second attachment portion 12 in addition to the control board 35. This eliminates the need to perform the mounting work of the light source board 34 and the control board 35 and the mounting work of the first heat sink 25 and the second heat sink 29, respectively, and improves workability in the mounting work.
In addition, the first heat sink 25 and the second heat sink 29 are located on opposite sides with the mounting base 8 interposed therebetween.
Therefore, when the light sources 37, and … … are driven by the on/off control of the control board 35, the heat released from the first heat sink 25 and the second heat sink 29 is separated by the mounting base 8, and the driving states of the light sources 37, and … … and the control board 35 are not easily affected by each other, so that a stable driving state of the light sources 37, and … … can be ensured.
In addition, in the above-described assembling work of the vehicle lamp 1, the same number of first caulking jigs 50 and second caulking jigs 60 as the number of the first mounting portions 11 and the second mounting portions 12 may be used. For example, when the first mounting portions 11, 11 and the second mounting portions 12, 12 are provided three by three as described above, the first mounting portions 11, 11 and the second mounting portions 12, 12 are heated and pressurized simultaneously by the first caulking jigs 50, 50 and the second caulking jigs 60, respectively, using the first caulking jigs 50, 50 and the second caulking jigs 60, respectively.
By performing such an operation, the operation time in the mounting step of mounting the light source substrate 34 and the control substrate 35 to the lamp housing 2 by thermal caulking can be significantly shortened, and the workability in the mounting step can be further improved.
