The present disclosure provides an optical element driving mechanism including: the first movable part, the fixed part, the first driving component and the second movable part. Technical Field
The present disclosure relates to an optical element driving mechanism, and more particularly, to an optical element driving mechanism having a movable portion to fix an optical element.
Background
With the progress of technology, the applications of electronic devices are becoming more and more popular. At present, electronic devices having a camera or video recording function are becoming the mainstream in the market. In these electronic devices, a shutter mechanism is generally provided to control an exposure time to capture a high-quality image or video. However, existing shutter mechanisms are not satisfactory in all respects, and there is still room for improvement.

The optical element driving mechanism of the embodiment of the present disclosure is explained below. Fig. 1 illustrates a perspective view of an optical element drive mechanism 10 according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. It should be noted that, in the present embodiment, the optical element driving mechanism 10 is, for example, a shutter mechanism, and may be disposed in an electronic device (not shown) having a camera function, and may drive the optical element by the optical element driving mechanism. By controlling the position of the optical element, light can pass through or block the light, and the exposure time of the camera module of the electronic device can be controlled. Fig. 2 shows an exploded view of the optical element driving mechanism 10 according to fig. 1. As shown in fig. 2, the optical element driving mechanism 10 may include: a first movable part M1, a fixed part F, a first driving assembly E1, a second movable part M2 and a second driving assembly E2. In the present embodiment, the fixing portion F includes: a body 110, a top cover 120, and a bottom cover 210. The top cover 120 and the bottom cover 210 are connected to the body 110, and the body 110 may be located between the top cover 120 and the bottom cover 210. The body 110 may be configured to carry the first movable portion M1 (and the optical element S connected to the first movable portion M1), and is connected to the optical module L. In some embodiments, the fixing portion F and the optical module L may be fixedly disposed on a substrate (not shown). In some embodiments, the optical element driving mechanism 10 is not in direct contact with the optical module L, but the disclosure is not limited thereto.
The maximum dimension of the optical element driving mechanism 10 is larger than the maximum dimension of the optical module L in a direction parallel to the optical axis O. For example, the height of the optical element driving mechanism 10 along the optical axis O is greater than the height of the optical module L along the optical axis O. Furthermore, the optical element S may comprise a baffle comprising SOMA or any other suitable light blocking material. The optical module L may include a camera module, which includes a lens or any other suitable light-transmitting material to allow light to pass through in a direction substantially parallel to the optical axis O, thereby achieving a camera function. The first movable portion M1 can be used to connect to an optical element S, wherein the optical element S can be used to block light (e.g., light traveling in a direction substantially parallel to the optical axis O). The first movable portion M1 is movable relative to the fixed portion F generally along the X-axis (i.e., the first direction). The first driving assembly E1 is used for driving the first movable portion M1 to move along the X axis (i.e. the first direction) with respect to the fixed portion F. In the present embodiment, the first driving assembly E1 includes a first magnetic conductive member 140, a first coil 150, and a first magnetic element 160 corresponding to the first coil 150. In some embodiments, the first driving element E1 can move the first movable portion M1 (and the connected optical element S) between a first position (also referred to as a first limit position) and a second position (also referred to as a second limit position). For example, the first and second locations may be aligned along an X-axis (i.e., a line connecting the first and second locations may be substantially parallel to the X-axis). That is, the line connecting the first position and the second position is different from the optical axis O (Z axis). In some embodiments, a line connecting the first position and the second position (e.g., the X-axis) is substantially perpendicular to the optical axis O (e.g., the Z-axis).
The second movable portion M2 can be used to fix the optical element S at the first position or the second position relative to the fixed portion F. The second driving assembly E2 can be used to drive the second movable portion M2 to move substantially along the Z-axis (i.e., the second direction) relative to the fixed portion F. From this, the moving direction of the second movable portion M2 is different from the moving direction of the optical element S. In some embodiments, the moving direction of the second movable portion M2 is substantially perpendicular to the moving direction of the optical element S. The second driving assembly E2 may include a second magnetic conductor 170, a second coil 180, and a second magnetic element 190 corresponding to the second coil 180. In some embodiments, the second movable portion M2 can fix the optical element S at the first position or the second position relative to the fixed portion F. In some embodiments, the maximum dimension of the fixing portion F in the direction of the first winding axis C1 of the first coil 150 (e.g., X-axis) is greater than the maximum dimension of the fixing portion F in the direction of the second winding axis C2 of the second coil 180 (e.g., Y-axis).
In this embodiment, the optical element driving mechanism 10 further includes at least one elastic element 200 abutting against the second movable portion M2 and driving the second movable portion M2 to move relative to the fixed portion F. The elastic member 200 may be disposed on the bottom cover 210. In some embodiments, the elastic element 200 can drive the second movable portion M2 to move in a second direction (e.g., parallel to the Z axis) relative to the fixed portion F. More specifically, the elastic member 200 may continuously apply an elastic force parallel to the aforementioned second direction (e.g., toward the top cover 120) to the second movable portion M2.
Fig. 3 illustrates a perspective view of the optical element drive mechanism 10 according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. It should be noted that the top cover 120 is not shown in the present embodiment in order to more clearly explain the internal structure of the optical element driving mechanism 10. As shown in fig. 3, the optical element driving mechanism 10 further includes a circuit assembly 130 disposed on the fixing portion F (e.g., the body 110). The circuit assembly 130 includes a plurality of first contacts 131 and a plurality of second contacts 132, wherein the first contacts 131 may be electrically connected to the first driving element E1, and the second contacts 132 may be electrically connected to the second driving element E2. It should be understood that the configuration of the first contact 131 and the second contact 132 shown in the present embodiment is merely an illustrative example, and those skilled in the art of the present disclosure can adjust the configuration of the first contact 131 and the second contact 132 as needed, and will not be described in detail below. A plurality of insulating materials (not shown) may be disposed on the first and second contacts 131 and 132, respectively, thereby protecting the first and second contacts 131 and 132. Further, the maximum size of the first coil 150 in the direction (X axis) parallel to the first winding axis C1 is different from the maximum size of the second coil 180 in the direction (Y axis) parallel to the second winding axis C2. In some embodiments, the first dimension is motion along a first direction (e.g., an X-axis), the second dimension is motion along a second direction (e.g., a Z-axis), and the first direction is non-parallel to the second direction. The top cover 120 has a second optical hole 121 corresponding to the optical module L and the first optical hole 111. In some embodiments, the first optical aperture 111 and the second optical aperture 121 are different in shape. For example, the first optical hole 111 has a circular cross section, and the edge of the first optical hole 111 has a bevel toward the top cover 120. The second optical hole 121 has a rectangular cross section and is used for corresponding to a photoelectric converter (such as a photosensitive element, not shown). The photoelectric converter has a first edge extending in a fifth direction and a second edge extending in a sixth direction when viewed along a major axis direction of the photoelectric converter (e.g., substantially parallel to the optical axis O). The fifth direction and the sixth direction are perpendicular to the main shaft in pairs.
In some embodiments, the ratio of the length to the width of the second optical hole 121 is the same as the ratio of the lengths of the first edge and the second edge of the photoelectric converter. In some embodiments, the second optical aperture 121 has an aspect ratio of 16: 9 is rectangular. The area of the first optical hole 111 is smaller than that of the second optical hole 121 when viewed from the light traveling direction (e.g., parallel to the optical axis O). As shown in fig. 5, the optical element S is located at the second position. At this time, the optical element S completely overlaps the first optical hole 111 and the second optical hole 121. Thus, the optical element S can block the light and prevent the light from entering the optical module L through the optical axis O.
In addition, the body 110 has a first accommodating portion 113 for accommodating the second movable portion M2. The top cover 120 has a second receiving portion 123 for receiving the second movable portion M2. In the present embodiment, the size of the first receiving portion 113 is substantially equal to the size of the second receiving portion 123. In some embodiments, the size of the first receiving portion 113 is smaller than the size of the second receiving portion 123. Further, the optical element S has a third containing part S1 and a fourth containing part S2, corresponding to the second movable part M2, respectively. When the optical element S is located at the second position (i.e., completely overlapped with the first and second optical holes 111 and 121), the second movable portion M2 passes through the fourth accommodating portion S2.
As shown in fig. 5, the optical element S is located between the body 110 and the top cover 120. The size of the fourth receiving part S2 is larger than the size of the first receiving part 113 or the size of the second receiving part 123 as viewed from the moving direction (e.g., parallel to the Z-axis) of the second movable part M2. Thus, the gap between the second movable portion M2 and the optical element S is smaller than the gap between the optical element S and the fixed portion F (e.g., the body 110 and the top cover 120). With this arrangement, the probability that the second movable portion M2 cannot normally move due to the contact of the second movable portion M2 with the optical element S can be reduced. For example, the first receiving portion 113 has a concave structure to provide a space for the second movable portion M2 to move. For example, the first, second, third and fourth accommodating parts 113, 123, S1 and S2 are rectangular, but the present disclosure is not limited thereto. In some embodiments, the first container part 113, the second container part 123, the third container part S1, and the fourth container part S2 may be any shape corresponding to the second movable part M2 as long as the second movable part M2 can be accommodated.
In addition, the body 110 has a first opening 115 for accommodating the first movable portion M1, and the first driving element E1 (including the first magnetic conductive member 140, the first coil 150 and the first magnetic element 160) drives the first movable portion M1 to move in the first opening 115. The top cover 120 has a second opening 125 for accommodating the first movable portion M1, and the first driving assembly E1 drives the first movable portion M1 to move in the second opening 125. In some embodiments, the size of the first opening 115 is different than the size of the second opening 125. In some embodiments, the size of the first opening 115 is greater than the size of the second opening 125.
The optical element S has a third opening S3 corresponding to the first movable portion M1. In some embodiments, the first movable portion M1 may be sleeved in the third opening S3. In some embodiments, the size of the first opening 115 is different from the size of the third opening S3. In some embodiments, the size of the first opening 115 is larger than the size of the third opening S3. In some embodiments, the size of the second opening 125 is different from the size of the third opening S3. In some embodiments, the size of the second opening 125 is greater than the size of the third opening S3. As can be seen from fig. 5, the size of the first opening 115 is different from the size of the first receiving portion 113. In some embodiments, the size of the first opening 115 is larger than the size of the first receiving portion 113. The first opening 115 has a first sidewall 116 and a second sidewall 117 opposite to the first sidewall 116. When the second movable portion M2 is located at the second position, the first movable portion M1 abuts the first side wall 116.
Since the elastic element 200 continuously applies an upward elastic force to the second movable portion M2, the second movable portion M2 can protrude from the first accommodating portion 113 and the fourth accommodating portion S2, so that the optical element S is fixed at the second position and keeps blocking the light entering the optical module L through the optical axis O. Therefore, the probability of failure of the optical element S due to external impact can be reduced.
Next, as shown in fig. 6, the second driving assembly E2 may drive the second movable part M2 to move downward such that the second movable part M2 is away from the fourth receiving part S2. More specifically, an electrical signal may be transmitted to the second coil 180 (as shown in fig. 4) such that the second magnetic conductive member 170 generates a magnetic force corresponding to the second magnetic element 190. In this way, the second magnetic conducting member 170 and the second magnetic element 190 generate a downward force, so that the second magnetic element 190 can counteract the elastic force generated by the elastic element 200 to drive the second movable portion M2 to move downward.
Next, as shown in fig. 7, the first driving assembly E1 can drive the first movable portion M1 and the optical element S to move away from the second position and reach the first position. More specifically, an electrical signal may be transmitted to the first coil 150, so that the first magnetic conductive member 140 generates a magnetic force corresponding to the first magnetic element 160. In this way, the first magnetic conducting member 140 and the first magnetic element 160 generate a force to drive the first movable portion M1 and the optical element S to move away from the second position. At this time, the optical element S does not overlap with the first optical hole 111 and the second optical hole 121. Thus, the light can enter the optical module L through the optical axis O.
In order to ensure that the first movable portion M1 and the optical element S move after the second movable portion M2 leaves the fourth containing portion S2, an electrical signal may be transmitted to the second coil 180 before the electrical signal is transmitted to the first coil 150. For example, the time difference for transmitting the electrical signal to the first coil 150 and the second coil 180 may be between about 1ms and about 10ms, for example, about 5ms, but the disclosure is not limited thereto. With the above design, the possibility of damage due to the collision between the second movable portion M2 and the optical element S can be reduced.
As shown in fig. 8, after the optical element S reaches the first position (e.g., when the first movable portion M1 abuts against the second sidewall 117), the second driving assembly E2 and/or the elastic element 200 may drive the second movable portion M2 to move upward, so that the second movable portion M2 passes through the third accommodating portion S1. In some embodiments, the second driving assembly E2 can be turned off, so that the elastic force generated by the elastic element 200 drives the second movable portion M2 to move upward. In other embodiments, an electrical signal may be transmitted to the second coil 180 (as shown in fig. 4) such that the second magnetic conductive member 170 generates a magnetic force corresponding to the second magnetic element 190. In this way, the second magnetic conducting member 170 and the second magnetic element 190 generate an upward acting force, and the acting force, together with the elastic force generated by the elastic element 200, drives the second movable portion M2 to move upward and pass through the third accommodating portion S1. The size of the third receiving part S1 is larger than the size of the first receiving part 113 or the size of the second receiving part 123 as viewed from the moving direction (e.g., parallel to the Z-axis) of the second movable part M2.
Similarly, in order to ensure that the second movable portion M2 moves after the first movable portion M1 abuts against the second sidewall 117, an electrical signal may be transmitted to the second coil 180 after the electrical signal is transmitted to the first coil 150. For example, the time difference for transmitting the electrical signal to the first coil 150 and the second coil 180 may be between about 1ms and about 10ms, for example, about 5ms, but the disclosure is not limited thereto. With the above design, the possibility of damage caused by the collision between the second movable portion M2 and the optical element S can be reduced.
Fig. 9 illustrates a bottom view of the optical element drive mechanism 10 according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. It should be noted that the bottom cover 210 and the optical element S are not shown in this embodiment in order to more clearly illustrate the internal structure of the optical element driving mechanism 10. As shown in fig. 9, the elastic member 200 does not overlap the second coil 180 when viewed from the second direction (e.g., Z-axis). In some embodiments, the elastic element 200 at least partially overlaps the second coil 180 as viewed from a direction perpendicular to the second direction (e.g., the Y-axis).
In this embodiment, the elastic member 200 may include a plurality of elastic units 200 arranged along a first direction (e.g., X-axis). In other words, the elastic units do not overlap each other when viewed along the second direction. The elastic coefficients of the elastic units can be respectively different. In this way, the elastic force of the elastic element 200 driving the second movable portion M2 can be controlled more easily, so that the movement of the second movable portion M2 can be smoother.
Further, the first coil 150 has a side 151 extending in a fourth direction (e.g., the X-axis) as viewed along the winding axis (e.g., the first winding axis C1) of the first coil 150. The first coil 150 has a first lead (not shown) connected to the circuit element 130, and the second coil 180 has a second lead (not shown) connected to the circuit element 130. The first lead of the first coil 150 and the second lead of the second coil 180 are located on the same side 151 as viewed in the direction of the winding axis of the first coil 150. In some embodiments, the aforementioned second lead directly contacts the first coil 150. In some embodiments, the first and second leads at least partially overlap when viewed along a third direction (e.g., the Y-axis).
Further, the third stopper member 250 includes third stopper units 251, 252 having a protruding structure extending along the first direction (e.g., X-axis). The third stopper member 250 may serve to limit the movement range of the second movable portion M2 in the third direction with respect to the fixed portion F. In some embodiments, the third stopping unit 250 is fixedly disposed on the fixing portion F (e.g., on the body 110). The third stopper unit 250 is located at least partially between the second movable portion M2 and the second coil 180 as viewed along the second direction (e.g., Z-axis). In the present embodiment, the first stopping unit 230, the second stopping unit 240 and the third stopping unit 250 may constitute a stopping assembly 220 for limiting the movement of the second movable portion M2 relative to the fixed portion F within a movement range. By providing the stopper assembly 220, the second movable portion M2 can be stably moved relative to the fixed portion F, which helps to reduce the possibility of failure of the optical element driving mechanism 10.
Fig. 10 illustrates a perspective view of an optical element drive mechanism 20 according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. It should be noted that, in the present embodiment, the optical element driving mechanism 20 is, for example, a shutter mechanism, and may be disposed in an electronic device (not shown) having a camera function, and may drive the optical element by the optical element driving mechanism. By controlling the position of the optical element, light can pass through or block the light, and the exposure time of the camera module of the electronic device can be controlled.
Fig. 11 shows an exploded view of the optical element driving mechanism 20 according to fig. 10. As shown in fig. 11, the optical element driving mechanism 20 may include: a first movable part M3, a fixed part F, a first driving assembly E3, a second movable part M4 and a second driving assembly E4. In the present embodiment, the fixing portion F includes: a body 310, a top cover 320, and a bottom cover 410. The top cover 320 and the bottom cover 410 are connected to the body 310, and the body 310 may be located between the top cover 320 and the bottom cover 410. The body 310 may be configured to carry the first movable portion M3 (and the optical element R connected to the first movable portion M3), and is connected to the optical module L.
In some embodiments, the body 310 has a recess 318 and a pillar 319 protruding from the recess 318, and a rounded corner is formed between the pillar 319 and the recess 318. In this way, the protruding pillars 319 can be effectively disposed in the positioning holes 329 of the top cover 320, and the top cover 320 can be more precisely disposed on the body 310. In some embodiments, the fixing portion F and the optical module L may be fixedly disposed on a substrate (not shown). In some embodiments, the optical element driving mechanism 20 is not in direct contact with the optical module L, but the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
The maximum dimension of the optical element driving mechanism 20 is larger than the maximum dimension of the optical module L in a direction parallel to the optical axis O'. For example, the height of the optical element driving mechanism 10 along the optical axis O 'is greater than the height of the optical module L along the optical axis O'. Further, the optical element R may comprise a baffle comprising SOMA or any other suitable light blocking material. The optical module L may include a camera module, which includes a lens or any other suitable light-transmitting material to allow light to pass through in a direction substantially parallel to the optical axis O', thereby achieving a camera function. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
The first movable portion M3 can be used to connect to an optical element R, wherein the optical element R can be used to block light (e.g., light traveling in a direction substantially parallel to the optical axis O'). The first movable portion M3 is movable relative to the fixed portion F generally along the X-axis (i.e., the first direction). The first driving assembly E3 is used for driving the first movable portion M3 to move along the X axis (i.e. the first direction) with respect to the fixed portion F. In the present embodiment, the first driving assembly E3 includes a first magnetic conductive member 340, a first coil 350, and a first magnetic element 360 corresponding to the first coil 350. In the present embodiment, the first coil 350 has a winding axis C3, which is substantially parallel to the X axis.
In some embodiments, the first driving assembly E3 can move the first movable portion M3 (and the connected optical element R) between a first position (also referred to as a first limit position) and a second position (also referred to as a second limit position). For example, the first and second locations may be aligned along an X-axis (i.e., a line connecting the first and second locations may be substantially parallel to the X-axis). That is, the line connecting the first position and the second position is different from the optical axis O' (Z axis). In some embodiments, a line connecting the first position and the second position (e.g., the X-axis) is substantially perpendicular to the optical axis O' (e.g., the Z-axis).
The second movable portion M4 can be used to fix the optical element R at the first position or the second position relative to the fixed portion F. The second driving assembly E4 can be used to drive the second movable portion M4 to move substantially along the Z-axis (i.e., the second direction) relative to the fixed portion F. From this, the moving direction of the second movable portion M4 is different from the moving direction of the optical element R. In some embodiments, the moving direction of the second movable portion M4 is substantially perpendicular to the moving direction of the optical element R. In some embodiments, the second movable portion M4 can fix the optical element R at the first position or the second position relative to the fixed portion F. The structure of the second driving assembly E4 will be further described with reference to fig. 16 and 17.
In this embodiment, the optical element driving mechanism 20 further includes an elastic element 400 abutting against the second movable portion M4 and driving the second movable portion M4 to move relative to the fixed portion F. The elastic member 400 may be disposed on the bottom cover 410. In some embodiments, the elastic element 400 can drive the second movable portion M4 to move in a second direction (e.g., parallel to the Z axis) relative to the fixed portion F. More specifically, the elastic member 400 may continuously apply an elastic force parallel to the aforementioned second direction (e.g., toward the top cover 320) to the second movable portion M4.
Fig. 12-15 illustrate cross-sectional views of an optical element drive mechanism 20 according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 12, the body 310 has a first optical hole 311 corresponding to the optical module L. The top cover 320 has a second optical hole 321 corresponding to the optical module L and the first optical hole 311. In some embodiments, the first optical aperture 311 is shaped differently than the second optical aperture 321. As shown in fig. 12, the optical element R is located at the second position. At this time, the optical element R completely overlaps the first optical hole 311 and the second optical hole 321. Thus, the optical element R can block the light and prevent the light from entering the optical module L through the optical axis O' (as shown in fig. 11).
In addition, the body 310 has a first accommodating portion 313 for accommodating the second movable portion M4. The top cover 320 has a second receiving portion 323 to receive the second movable portion M4. In the present embodiment, the size of the first receiving portion 313 is substantially equal to the size of the second receiving portion 323. In some embodiments, the size of the first receiving portion 313 is smaller than the size of the second receiving portion 323. Further, the optical element R has a third containing portion R1 and a fourth containing portion R2, corresponding to the second movable portion M4, respectively. When the optical element R is located at the second position (i.e. completely overlapped with the first optical hole 311 and the second optical hole 321), the second movable portion M4 passes through the fourth accommodating portion R2.
As shown in fig. 12, the optical element R is located between the body 310 and the top cover 320. The size of the fourth accommodating part R2 is larger than the size of the first accommodating part 313 or the size of the second accommodating part 323 as viewed from the moving direction (e.g., parallel to the Z-axis) of the second movable part M4. As such, the gap between the second movable portion M4 and the optical element R is smaller than the gap between the optical element R and the fixed portion F (e.g., the body 310 and the top cover 320). With this arrangement, the probability that the second movable portion M4 cannot normally move due to the contact of the second movable portion M4 with the optical element R can be reduced. For example, the first accommodating part 313 has a concave structure to provide a space for the second movable part M4 to move. For example, the first, second, third, and fourth accommodating parts 313, 323, R1, and R2 are rectangular, but the present disclosure is not limited thereto. In some embodiments, the first container part 313, the second container part 323, the third container part R1, and the fourth container part R2 may be any shape corresponding to the second movable part M4 as long as the second movable part M4 can be accommodated.
In addition, the body 310 has a first opening 315 for accommodating the first movable portion M3, and the first driving element E3 (including the first magnetic conductive member 340, the first coil 350 and the first magnetic element 360) drives the first movable portion M3 to move in the first opening 315. The top cover 320 has a second opening 325 for receiving the first movable portion M3, and the first driving assembly E3 drives the first movable portion M3 to move in the second opening 325. In some embodiments, the first opening 315 is a different size than the second opening 325. In some embodiments, the size of the first opening 315 is greater than the size of the second opening 325.
The optical element R has a third opening R3 corresponding to the first movable portion M3. In some embodiments, the first movable portion M3 may be sleeved in the third opening R3. In some embodiments, the size of the first opening 315 is different from the size of the third opening R3. In some embodiments, the size of the first opening 315 is greater than the size of the third opening R3. In some embodiments, the size of the second opening 325 is different from the size of the third opening R3. In some embodiments, the size of the second opening 325 is greater than the size of the third opening R3. As can be seen from fig. 12, the size of the first opening 315 is different from the size of the first receiving portion 313. In some embodiments, the size of the first opening 315 is greater than the size of the first receiving portion 313. The first opening 315 has a first sidewall 316 and a second sidewall 317 opposite the first sidewall 316. The first side wall 316 and the second side wall 317 can form a stop portion for limiting the movement of the first movable portion M3 relative to the fixed portion F within a movement range. When the second movable part M4 is located at the second position, the first movable part M3 abuts the first side wall 316.
As shown in fig. 12, when the first movable portion M3 is located at the second position, the optical element R completely covers the second optical hole 321 when viewed along the second direction (e.g., the Z axis), so that the first optical hole 311 is not exposed from the second optical hole 321. At this time, the first movable part M3 may contact the first sidewall 316, or the fixing part F (e.g., the body 310) may contact the stopper structure on the first movable part M3. When the first movable portion M3 directly contacts the fixed portion F, the optical element R does not contact the fixed portion F. Thus, the possibility of damage caused by mutual impact between the optical element R and the fixing part F can be reduced. In the present embodiment, the optical element R and the second movable portion M4 have a gap different from zero, i.e., the optical element R and the second movable portion M4 are not in direct contact.
Since the elastic element 400 continuously applies an upward elastic force to the second movable portion M4, the second movable portion M4 can protrude from the first accommodating portion 313 and the fourth accommodating portion R2, so that the optical element R is fixed at the second position and keeps blocking the light entering the optical module L through the optical axis O'. Therefore, the probability of failure of the optical element R due to external impact can be reduced.
Next, as shown in fig. 13, the second driving assembly E4 may drive the second movable part M4 to move downward such that the second movable part M4 is away from the fourth receiving part R2. In this embodiment, the second driving assembly E4 may include a second magnetic conductive member 370, a second coil 380 and a second magnetic element 390. An electrical signal may be transmitted to the second coil 380 causing the second magnetically permeable member 370 to generate a magnetic force corresponding to the second magnetic element 390. In this way, the second magnetic conducting member 370 and the second magnetic element 390 generate a downward force, so that the second magnetic element 390 can counteract the elastic force generated by the elastic element 400 to drive the second movable portion M4 to move downward. In other words, the maximum driving force generated by the second driving assembly E4 is greater than the elastic force exerted by the elastic element 400.
Next, as shown in fig. 14, the first driving assembly E3 can drive the first movable portion M3 and the optical element R to move away from the second position and reach the first position. More specifically, an electrical signal may be transmitted to the first coil 350, such that the first magnetic conductive member 340 generates a magnetic force corresponding to the first magnetic element 360. In this way, the first magnetic conducting member 340 and the first magnetic element 360 generate a force to drive the first movable portion M3 and the optical element R away from the second position. At this time, the optical element R does not overlap the first optical hole 311 and the second optical hole 321. Thus, the light can enter the optical module L through the optical axis O'. Further, the second movable portion M4 partially overlaps the top cover 320 as viewed from a direction (e.g., Z-axis) perpendicular to the moving direction of the optical element R.
In order to ensure that the first movable portion M3 and the optical element R move after the second movable portion M4 leaves the fourth receiving portion R2, an electrical signal may be transmitted to the second coil 380 before the electrical signal is transmitted to the first coil 350. For example, the time difference for transmitting the electrical signal to the first coil 350 and the second coil 380 may be between about 1ms and about 10ms, such as about 5ms, but the disclosure is not limited thereto. With the above design, the possibility of damage due to the collision between the second movable portion M4 and the optical element R can be reduced.
As shown in fig. 15, after the optical element R reaches the first position (e.g., when the first movable portion M3 abuts against the second sidewall 317), the elastic element 400 may drive the second movable portion M4 to move upward, so that the second movable portion M4 passes through the third accommodating portion R1. The size of the third accommodating part R1 is larger than the size of the first accommodating part 313 or the size of the second accommodating part 323 as viewed from the moving direction (e.g., parallel to the Z-axis) of the second movable part M4.
Similarly, in order to ensure that the second movable portion M4 moves after the first movable portion M3 abuts against the second sidewall 317, the electrical signal transmitted to the second coil 180 may be stopped after the electrical signal is transmitted to the first coil 350. For example, the time difference between transmitting the electric signal to the first coil 150 and stopping transmitting the electric signal to the second coil 180 may be between about 1ms and about 10ms, for example, about 5ms, but the disclosure is not limited thereto. With the above design, the possibility of damage caused by the collision between the second movable portion M4 and the optical element R can be reduced.
As shown in fig. 15, when the first movable portion M3 is located at the first position, the optical element R does not obscure the second optical hole 321 when viewed along the second direction (e.g., the Z axis), so that the first optical hole 311 is completely exposed from the second optical hole 321. At this time, the first movable portion M3 may contact the second sidewall 317, or the fixing portion F (e.g., the body 310) may contact the stopper structure on the first movable portion M3. The first movable portion M3 is located between the stopper structures, which are arranged along the first direction (e.g., X axis), when viewed along the second direction.
Similarly, when the first movable portion M3 is in direct contact with the fixed portion F, the optical element R is not in contact with the fixed portion F. Thus, the possibility of damage caused by mutual impact between the optical element R and the fixing part F can be reduced. In the present embodiment, the optical element R and the second movable portion M4 have a gap different from zero, i.e., the optical element R and the second movable portion M4 are not in direct contact.
Fig. 16 illustrates a perspective view of a second drive assembly E4 and bottom cover 410 according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. It should be noted that, in order to more clearly explain the structure of the second driving assembly E4, the second movable portion M4 is shown by a dotted line in the present embodiment. In some embodiments, second coil 380 is adjacent to second magnetically permeable member 370. In some embodiments, second coil 380 surrounds second magnetically permeable member 370. The second magnetic conductive member 370 has a strip-shaped structure, and the extending direction (e.g., Z axis) of the second magnetic conductive member 370 is parallel to the winding axis C4 of the second coil. In addition, the second magnetic element 390 corresponds to the second coil 380. In some embodiments, the second magnetic element 390 is made of magnetic material. In some embodiments, the second magnetic element 390 does not include any permanent magnets. In some embodiments, the second magnetic element 390 has a plate-like structure including flat plate portions 391, 392, respectively extending in different directions. The second magnetic element 390 is at least partially buried and not exposed to the second movable portion M4 (shown in phantom).
Fig. 17 illustrates a top view of the second drive assembly E4 and the bottom cover 410 according to some embodiments of the present disclosure. The maximum dimension (e.g., diameter D2) of the second coil 380, as viewed along the direction of extension of the second magnetically permeable member 370, is greater than the maximum dimension (e.g., diameter D1) of the second magnetically permeable member 370 in the first direction (e.g., the X-axis). In some embodiments, the maximum dimension of second coil 380 is at least twice the maximum dimension of second magnetically permeable member 370. The elastic member 400 surrounds the second coil 380. The elastic element 400 does not overlap the second coil 380 as viewed from the moving direction (e.g., Z-axis) of the second movable portion M4. The elastic element 400 at least partially overlaps the second coil 380 as viewed from a direction (e.g., X-Y plane) perpendicular to the moving direction of the second movable portion M4.
In summary, the embodiments of the present disclosure provide an optical element driving mechanism having a movable portion to fix an optical element. By arranging the movable part with the movement direction different from that of the optical element, the optical element can be fixed at a specific position, and the probability of failure of the optical element due to external force impact can be reduced. In addition, the driving time of the movable part and the driving time of the optical element are designed to have a time difference, so that the probability of damage caused by mutual collision of the movable part and the optical element can be reduced. Claims (10)

1. An optical element driving mechanism, comprising:
the first movable part is used for connecting an optical element, and the optical element is used for blocking a light ray;
a fixed part, the first movable part can move relative to the fixed part;
the first driving component is used for driving the first movable part to move relative to the fixed part; and
the second movable part is used for fixing the optical element at a first position relative to the fixed part.
2. The optical element driving mechanism according to claim 1,
the first driving component moves the optical element to a second position, and the second movable part fixes the optical element at the second position relative to the fixed part;
the connection line of the first position and the second position is different from the traveling direction of the light;
the connecting line of the first position and the second position is approximately vertical to the traveling direction of the light;
the optical element driving mechanism also comprises a second driving component for driving the second movable part to move relative to the fixed part;
the moving direction of the second movable part is different from the moving direction of the optical element; and
the moving direction of the second movable part is approximately perpendicular to the moving direction of the optical element.
3. The optical element driving mechanism according to claim 2, further comprising a circuit component disposed on the fixing portion, wherein:
the circuit assembly comprises a plurality of first contacts and a plurality of second contacts, wherein the plurality of first contacts are electrically connected to the first driving assembly, and the plurality of second contacts are electrically connected to the second driving assembly;
the optical element driving mechanism further comprises a plurality of insulating materials which are respectively arranged on the plurality of first contacts and the plurality of second contacts; and
the insulating material on the first plurality of contacts is separated from the insulating material on the second plurality of contacts.
4. The optical element driving mechanism according to claim 1, further comprising:
a second driving component for driving the second movable portion to move relative to the fixed portion, wherein:
the first driving assembly comprises a first coil and a first magnetic element corresponding to the first coil, and the second driving assembly comprises a second coil and a second magnetic element corresponding to the second coil;
a bobbin of the second coil is not parallel to a bobbin of the first coil;
the winding axis of the second coil is perpendicular to the winding axis of the first coil;
a maximum dimension of the first coil in the direction of the bobbin of the first coil is different from a maximum dimension of the second coil in the direction of the bobbin of the second coil;
a maximum dimension of the first coil in the direction of the bobbin of the first coil is larger than a maximum dimension of the second coil in the direction of the bobbin of the second coil; and
the maximum dimension of the fixing portion in the direction of the bobbin of the first coil is larger than the maximum dimension of the fixing portion in the direction of the bobbin of the second coil.
5. The optical element driving mechanism according to claim 4,
the first driving assembly further comprises a first magnetic conductive member, the bobbin of the first coil passes through the first magnetic conductive member, and the first coil and the first magnetic conductive member are overlapped when viewed from a direction perpendicular to the bobbin of the first coil;
the second driving assembly further comprises a second magnetic conducting piece, the bobbin of the second coil penetrates through the second magnetic conducting piece, and the second coil and the second magnetic conducting piece are not overlapped when being observed from the direction perpendicular to the bobbin of the second coil;
the first driving component is used for driving the first movable part to move relative to the fixed part in a first dimension, the second driving component is used for driving the second movable part to move relative to the fixed part in a second dimension, and the first dimension is different from the second dimension;
the first dimension is motion along a first direction, the second dimension is motion along a second direction, and the first direction is not parallel to the second direction;
when viewed along the second direction, the arrangement direction of the second movable part and the second driving assembly is different from the first direction;
when the second movable part is observed along the second direction, the arrangement direction of the second movable part and the second driving assembly is parallel to a third direction;
the first direction and the second direction are perpendicular to each other;
the second direction and the third direction are perpendicular to each other;
the first direction and the third direction are perpendicular to each other;
when viewed along the second direction, the connecting line direction of the center of the first movable part and the center of the second movable part is not parallel to the first direction; and
when viewed along the second direction, the direction of the connecting line of the center of the first movable part and the center of the second movable part is not parallel to the third direction.
6. The optical element driving mechanism according to claim 4,
the first coil has a side extending along a fourth direction when viewed along the direction of the winding axis of the first coil;
a first lead of the first coil is located at the side edge when viewed along the direction of the winding axis of the first coil;
when viewed along the direction of the winding shaft of the first coil, a second lead of the second coil is positioned at the side edge;
the second lead directly contacts the first coil; and
when viewed along a third direction, the first lead and the second lead are at least partially overlapped.
7. The optical element driving mechanism as claimed in claim 1, further comprising at least one elastic element abutting against the second movable portion and driving the second movable portion to move relative to the fixed portion, wherein:
the elastic element can drive the second movable part to move in a second direction relative to the fixed part;
the elastic element continuously applies an elastic force to the second movable part, and the elastic force is parallel to the second direction;
when viewed from the second direction, the at least one elastic element is not overlapped with a second coil;
viewed from a direction perpendicular to the second direction, the at least one elastic element is at least partially overlapped with the second coil;
the elastic element also comprises a plurality of elastic units, the second movable part can move relative to the fixed part through the plurality of elastic units, and the elastic coefficients of the plurality of elastic units are respectively different;
the plurality of elastic units are not overlapped with each other when viewed along the second direction; and
when viewed along the second direction, the plurality of elastic units are arranged along a first direction.
8. The optical element driving mechanism as claimed in claim 1, further comprising a stop assembly for limiting the second movable portion to move within a range of motion relative to the fixed portion, wherein the stop assembly comprises:
a first stop element for limiting the movement range of the second movable part relative to the fixed part in a first direction;
the second stop element is used for limiting the movement range of the second movable part relative to the fixed part in a third direction; and
a third stopping element for limiting the movement range of the second movable portion relative to the fixed portion in the third direction, wherein:
the first stop element further comprises a plurality of first stop units arranged along the first direction;
when viewed along a second direction, the central connecting lines of the plurality of first stopping units are not overlapped with the winding shaft of a first coil;
a second stop unit of the second stop element has a protruding structure extending along the third direction;
a third stop unit of the third stop member having a protruding structure extending along the first direction;
the second stopping unit and the third stopping unit are respectively and fixedly arranged on the second movable part and the fixed part; and
when viewed along the second direction, the third stopping unit is at least partially located between the second movable portion and a second coil.
9. The optical element driving mechanism according to claim 1, wherein the fixing portion further comprises:
a body for connecting an optical module;
a top cover connected to the body; and
a bottom cover connected to the body, the body being located between the top cover and the bottom cover, wherein:
the body is provided with a first opening for accommodating the first movable part, and the first driving component drives the first movable part to move in the first opening;
the top cover is provided with a second opening for accommodating the first movable part, and the first driving component drives the first movable part to move in the second opening;
the size of the first opening is different from that of the second opening;
the size of the first opening is larger than that of the second opening;
the optical element is provided with a third opening corresponding to the first movable part;
the size of the first opening is different from that of the third opening;
the size of the first opening is larger than that of the third opening;
the size of the second opening is different from the size of the third opening;
the size of the second opening is larger than that of the third opening;
the size of the first opening is different from that of a first accommodating part;
the size of the first opening is larger than that of the first accommodating part; and
the first opening is provided with a first side wall and a second side wall opposite to the first side wall, when the second movable part is located at the first position, the first movable part is abutted against the first side wall, and when the second movable part is located at the second position, the first movable part is abutted against the second side wall.
10. The optical element driving mechanism as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first movable portion has at least one recess for receiving an adhesive member.
