The protective fence as claimed in claim 1, further comprising a horizontal touch bar, both ends of which are connected to the left and right ends of the upper fence portion or the lower fence portion, respectively, by a vertical connecting bar, and are positioned at an upper side of an upper end edge portion of the upper fence portion or a lower side of a lower end edge portion of the lower fence portion.

A protective fence according to any one of claims 1 to 9 wherein the protective fence is adapted for use in a gray garage comprising a gray garage cross member, and wherein the upper edge portion of the first fence unit of the upper fence assembly is provided with a cross member engagement member which is releasably connected to the gray garage cross member.
