Description

Forming tool and device for vehicle window assembly and vehicle window assembly
Technical Field
The utility model relates to an automobile parts field. And more particularly, to a molding tool for a vehicle window assembly, a molding apparatus having the same, and a vehicle window assembly.
Background
With the rapid development of the automobile industry, the shape of the automobile is more attractive and fashionable. In order to reduce weight and provide a good appearance of the window to door fit, many users require the glass of the window assembly to have a visible edge, such as the front edge 11 of the rear window 10 in the rear window assembly shown in figure 1. Currently, the manner in which this effect is achieved can be broadly divided into two categories, namely tape pre-assembly or plastic insert overmolding.
For the taping method, as shown in fig. 2, the lip 21 of the hem 20 is generally adhered to one surface 12 of the glass 10 with a tape 30. This approach has several limitations, such as high tape cost, manual positioning of the tape, increased cycle time and capital (hot box and assembly tool) and product cost, and unsatisfactory product appearance, and the adhesion of the lip 21 of the hem 20 to the surface of the glass 10 can cause a splice line to appear at the top and bottom ends and surfaces of the product, which is unacceptable to the consumer. Further, the adhesion with an adhesive tape also has a sealing problem of waterproof property or the like, and there is a risk that the lip 21 of the hem 20 is easily broken, resulting in a reduction in yield. Therefore, the preferable mode adopted in the industry is to integrally injection mold the edge covering and the glass, so that the edge of the glass can be exposed and the appearance can be ensured to have no seam.
However, in the current technology, the integral injection molding is usually realized by using a plastic insert secondary molding method, specifically, firstly, an insert around the periphery of the glass needs to be injected or the insert is put into a secondary molding mold, and secondly, a bound edge is formed on the insert in the mold and the glass by injection molding. The problem with this approach is that: the cost of the die is high, and fixed assets of machine equipment are increased; additional large inserts are often required to match the window assembly, and stack-up tolerances are difficult to control; the additional process of putting the insert into the die is added, and the production period is prolonged. Thus, this approach is not conducive to general applicability.
