With the rapid development of the automobile industry, the appearance of the vehicle is more attractive and fashionable, which puts higher requirements on the design of the outer decoration of the vehicle, in particular to the decoration strip of the side door window frame of the vehicle. Conventional trim strips are generally a bright strip made of a plastic material or a metal material, and are used to cover a vehicle body pillar (a pillar, B pillar, and C pillar) metal plate and/or a window frame to improve the glossiness of the outer surface, so as to increase the luxurious feeling and the sporty feeling of the entire vehicle.
Fig. 1 shows a manner in which a garnish bright strip is applied to a rear quarter window of a vehicle. As shown in fig. 2 to 4, the bright decorative strip 1 of the rear corner window assembly is generally connected with the bright water-cutting strip 4 and mounted on the vehicle body metal plate 3. The water cut bright strip 4 is mainly installed at the door and window of the vehicle for sealing, decorating and guiding the door and window glass. Usually, the decorative bright strip 1 is connected with the water cut bright strip 4 in a substantially straight line to obtain sealing performance and beautiful appearance. In order to realize the positioning butt joint of the water cut bright strip 4 and the decorative bright strip 1, an insert 2 is also required to be provided.
As shown in fig. 3 and 4, the insert 2 is usually disposed at the end of the bright decorative strip 1 by means of pre-assembly or injection molding and is embedded in the groove or channel of the bright decorative strip 1, wherein the pre-assembly can achieve the structural and appearance effects that the integral injection molding cannot achieve, but the product cost is high, uncontrollable factors are excessive, while the injection molding is low in product cost, the appearance and quality problems are easy to control, but the requirements on the tolerances of sub-components (bright strip, insert, etc.) and the glass in the vehicle window assembly are strict.
