As shown in fig. 1 and 4, the food steamer 100 may further comprise a protrusion 130, the protrusion 130 being configured to protrude outwardly from an outer surface of the side wall 120. Specifically, the food steamer 100 may include a plurality of protrusions 130, and the plurality of protrusions 130 may be spaced apart along the circumference of the sidewall 120. The projection 130 is generally configured as a bar-shaped projection extending in the vertical direction. 1. A food steamer, comprising:

a bottom wall (110); and

a sidewall (120) extending upwardly from the peripheral edge of the bottom wall, and an outer surface of the sidewall being cylindrical, the sidewall including at least one recess (121) configured to be recessed outwardly from an inner surface of the sidewall.

2. A steamer as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the recess is provided at an upper position of the side wall.

3. The food steamer as claimed in claim 1, wherein the recess is racetrack shaped, circular, oval or polygonal.

4. A steamer as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the wall thickness of the side wall at the recess is smaller than in other areas.

5. A steamer as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the side wall comprises two of the depressions, the depressions being diametrically opposed along the side wall.

6. The food steamer as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the junction of the side surface of the recess and the inner surface of the side wall is formed with an arc-shaped face (122).

7. The basket according to claim 1, further comprising a protrusion (130) configured to protrude outwardly from an outer surface of the sidewall.

8. The basket according to claim 1, further comprising an outer rim (140) configured to extend circumferentially outward from a top of the sidewall.

9. Cooking appliance, characterized in that it comprises a basket according to any one of claims 1 to 8.

10. The cooking appliance of claim 9, wherein the cooking appliance comprises:

the steamer comprises a pot body, wherein an inner pot (200) is arranged in the pot body, and the steamer is arranged in the inner pot and erected on the inner pot; and

the cover body is arranged on the cooker body in an openable and closable manner, and when the cover body covers the cooker body, a cooking space is formed between the cooker body and the inner pot.
