技术领域
本实用新型涉及显示技术领域,尤其涉及一种背光模块和液晶显示装置。
背景技术
液晶显示装置(LCD:Liquid Crystal Display)因其体积小、功耗低、无辐射等特点已成为目前平板显示装置中的主流产品。液晶显示装置包括液晶显示面板和背光模块。液晶显示面板包括对盒的阵列基板和彩膜基板,在阵列基板和彩膜基板之间设置有液晶。背光模块用于向液晶显示面板提供背光照明。
实用新型内容
本公开的实施例提供了一种背光模块和液晶显示装置,提高了液晶显示装置的屏占比(screen occupation ratio)。
根据本实用新型的一个方面,本实用新型实施例提供了一种背光模块。所述背光模块包括:层叠布置的背板和导光板;布置在所述背板的底端的安装槽;从所述安装槽中向所述导光板所在的一侧伸出的光源;其中,所述光源的出光面面对所述导光板的入光面。
可选地,所述光源是板上芯片封装LED。
可选地,所述光源的出光面紧贴所述导光板的入光面。
可选地,所述光源包括位于所述背板背离所述导光板一侧的支撑件和布置在所述支撑件面对所述导光板的表面的发光器件。
可选地,所述背光模块还包括遮光件;其中,所述遮光件布置在所述发光器件背离所述支撑件的一侧。
可选地,所述背光模块还包括扩散膜和棱镜膜;其中,所述扩散膜布置在所述导光板背离所述背板的一侧;所述棱镜膜布置在所述扩散膜背离所述背板的一侧。
可选地,所述背光模块还包括柔性印刷电路板;其中,所述柔性印刷电路板与所述发光器件电连接,并且所述柔性印刷电路板布置在所述支撑件背离所述发光器件的一侧。
可选地,所述背板和所述支撑件的材料是不锈钢或铝合金。
可选地,所述背光模块还包括布置在所述背板和所述导光板之间的反射膜;其中,所述反射膜的反射面朝向所述导光板。
根据本实用新型的另一方面,本实用新型实施例还提供了一种液晶显示装置。所述液晶显示装置包括如以上实施例所述的背光模块。

下面将结合本实用新型实施例中的附图,对本实用新型实施例中的技术方案进行清楚、完整地描述,显然,所描述的实施例仅仅是本实用新型一部分实施例,而不是全部的实施例。基于本实用新型中的实施例,本领域普通技术人员在没有做出创造性劳动前提下所获得的所有其他实施例,都属于本实用新型专利保护的范围。
本公开的实施例提供了一种背光模块和液晶显示装置,提高了液晶显示装置的屏占比。
根据本实用新型的一个方面,本实用新型实施例提供了一种背光模块。如图1所示,所述背光模块100包括:层叠布置的背板101和导光板102;布置在所述背板101的底端的安装槽103(如图2所示);从所述安装槽103中向所述导光板102所在的一侧(即,图1中背板101的左侧)伸出的光源104;其中,所述光源104的出光面105面对所述导光板102的入光面106。在本实用新型的上下文中,“导光板所在的一侧”指的是所述背板面对所述导光板的一侧。
在本实用新型实施例中,背光模块的安装槽布置在背板的底端,光源从所述安装槽中向所述导光板所在的一侧伸出,并且所述光源的出光面面对所述导光板的入光面。由此,无需在背板面对所述导光板的一侧设置用于承载光源的结构,减小了背板的底端与所述导光板之间的距离。利用上述布置,能够有效地减小背光模块的边框宽度,从而提高液晶显示装置的屏占比。此外,利用所述安装槽,在安装阶段,光源可以从所述安装槽中向所述导光板所在的一侧伸出,也简化了背光模块和液晶显示装置的制作工艺。
可选地,所述光源是板上芯片封装LED。
板上芯片封装(COB)光源是将LED芯片直接贴在高反光率的镜面金属基板上的高光效集成面光源技术。例如,可以将多个半导体芯片贴装在印刷线路板上,芯片与基板的电气连接用引线缝合方法实现,并用树脂覆盖以确保可靠性。板上芯片封装LED灯条是线光源,能够向导光板的入光面提供更均匀的光强分布,从而有效地消除热点(hot spot)现象。
可选地,如图1所示,所述光源104的出光面105紧贴所述导光板101的入光面106。
为了进一步减小液晶显示装置的边框宽度,所述光源的出光面紧贴所述导光板的入光面。利用上述布置,还能够有效提高导光板的光利用率,减小光的损耗。
可选地,如图1所示,所述光源104包括位于所述安装槽103内部的支撑件107和布置在所述支撑件107面对所述导光板102的表面的发光器件108。
可以使用柔性印刷电路板(FPC)作为所述支撑件。可以利用例如胶条将所述发光器件108贴附在所述支撑件107面对所述导光板102的表面上。
可选地,如图1所示,所述背光模块100还包括遮光件110;其中,所述遮光件110布置在所述发光器件108背离所述支撑件107的一侧。
利用所述遮光件,能够遮挡从所述发光器件的侧面(即,所述发光器件背离所述支撑件的一侧)发射的光线,从而消除液晶显示装置的边缘漏光。如图1所示,所述遮光件110可以包括布置在所述发光器件108背离所述支撑件107的表面的第一遮光件111。所述遮光件110还可以包括第二遮光件112,所述第二遮光件112布置在所述第一遮光件111背离所述发光器件108的一侧。所述第二遮光件112至少覆盖所述第一遮光件111和所述导光板102与所述光源104相邻的边缘。所述第一遮光件111和所述第二遮光件112可以是遮光胶带。
可选地,如图1所示,所述背光模块100还包括扩散膜113和棱镜膜114;其中,所述扩散膜113布置在所述导光板102背离所述背板101的一侧;所述棱镜膜114布置在所述扩散膜113背离所述背板101的一侧。
利用上述扩散膜,可以增加光的扩散。利用所述棱镜膜,使得从背光模块出射的所有光束具有一致的方向。
可选地,如图1所示,所述背光模块100还包括柔性印刷电路板109;其中,所述柔性印刷电路板109与所述发光器件108电连接,并且所述柔性印刷电路板109布置在所述支撑件107背离所述发光器件108的一侧。
利用这样的布置形式,便于从背板背离所述导光板的一侧安装所述光源,从而简化背光模块的结构和制作工艺。
可选地,所述背板和所述支撑件的材料是不锈钢或铝合金。
利用不锈钢或铝合金制作所述背板和所述支撑件,增加了背光模块的结构强度和散热能力。
可选地,如图1所示,所述背光模块100还包括布置在所述背板101和所述导光板102之间的反射膜115;其中,所述反射膜115的反射面朝向所述导光板102。
利用所述反射膜,可以进一步增加导光板的光利用率。
从图1能够清楚地看出,利用本实用新型的布置形式,背光模块的底部边框宽度大致等于安装槽下方的背板边缘宽度W1、光源宽度W2、以及第二遮光件超出棱镜膜114的宽度W3之和。因此,利用本实用新型的布置形式,简化了背光模块的光源安装结构,并有效地减小背光模块的底部边框宽度。
图3示出了根据本实用新型实施例的背光模块的实际光学效果。可以看出,该背光模块的实际光学效果能够满足背光模块的设计要求。
根据本实用新型的另一方面,本实用新型实施例还提供了一种液晶显示装置。所述液晶显示装置包括如以上实施例所述的背光模块。
本实用新型实施例中,背光模块的安装槽布置在背板的底端,光源从所述安装槽中向所述导光板所在的一侧伸出,并且所述光源的出光面面对所述导光板的入光面。由此,无需在背板面对所述导光板的一侧设置用于承载光源的结构,减小了背板的底端与所述导光板之间的距离。利用上述布置,能够有效地减小背光模块的底部边框宽度,从而提高液晶显示装置的屏占比。此外,利用所述安装槽,在安装阶段,光源可以从所述安装槽中向所述导光板所在的一侧伸出,也简化了背光模块和液晶显示装置的制作工艺。
显然,本领域的技术人员可以对本实用新型进行各种改动和变型而不脱离本实用新型的精神和范围。这样,倘若本实用新型的这些修改和变型属于本实用新型权利要求及其等同技术的范围之内,则本实用新型也意图包含这些改动和变型。

Claims (10)

1.一种背光模块,包括:
层叠布置的背板和导光板;
布置在所述背板的底端的安装槽;
从所述安装槽中向所述导光板所在的一侧伸出的光源;
其中,所述光源的出光面面对所述导光板的入光面。
2.如权利要求1所述的背光模块,其中,所述光源是板上芯片封装LED。
3.如权利要求1所述的背光模块,其中,所述光源的出光面紧贴所述导光板的入光面。
4.如权利要求1所述的背光模块,其中,所述光源包括位于所述背板背离所述导光板一侧的支撑件和布置在所述支撑件面对所述导光板的表面的发光器件。
5.如权利要求4所述的背光模块,还包括遮光件;其中,所述遮光件布置在所述发光器件背离所述支撑件的一侧。
6.如权利要求1所述的背光模块,还包括扩散膜和棱镜膜;其中,所述扩散膜布置在所述导光板背离所述背板的一侧;所述棱镜膜布置在所述扩散膜背离所述背板的一侧。
7.如权利要求4所述的背光模块,还包括柔性印刷电路板;其中,所述柔性印刷电路板与所述发光器件电连接,并且所述柔性印刷电路板布置在所述支撑件背离所述发光器件的一侧。
8.如权利要求4所述的背光模块,其中,所述背板和所述支撑件的材料是不锈钢或铝合金。
9.如权利要求1所述的背光模块,还包括布置在所述背板和所述导光板之间的反射膜;其中,所述反射膜的反射面朝向所述导光板。
10.一种液晶显示装置,包括如权利要求1-9任一项所述的背光模块。
