Abstract

本实用新型揭示了一种电连接器端子,其主要包括一用来插入电路板设有的通孔内的安装脚,该安装脚四周侧向弹性抵压在所述通孔的内壁面。所述安装脚由一金属板卷曲而形成,金属板的两个对接边缘留有细缝使得安装脚呈C字型。所述安装脚在其表面设置被打薄但未贯穿的薄型区,该薄型区至少与所述通孔的内壁面相对。所述薄型区呈鱼眼状,成对设置并对称分布于所述安装部细缝的两侧,藉此,既保证了端子的强度,使其不易产生弯曲变形,又能使端子产生所需的径向固持力。

【技术领域】
本实用新型涉及一种电连接器端子,尤其涉及一种具有薄型区的电连接器端子。
【背景技术】
随着电子设备中数据传输与通信系统的不断进步,插设于电连接器的端子的密度越来越高,这就要求电连接器端子在保持固持力的同时减小其体积。现有的电连接器端子普遍采用的一种结构则是利用C型或M型结构端子的径向变形产生固持力,此结构为了保证固持力必须减小端子的厚度以增加端子的径向变形,但为了避免端子发生塑性变形必须增加端子的厚度,往往会顾此失彼。
因此,有必要设计一种新的电连接器端子,以克服上述问题。
【实用新型内容】
本实用新型所要解决的技术问题在于提供一种电连接器端子,其具有较好的固持效果且所占空间小。
为实现上述目的,本实用新型采用如下技术方案:一种电连接器端子,包括一用来插入电路板设有的通孔的安装脚,所述安装脚向四周侧向弹性抵压在所述通孔的内壁面。
进一步地,所述安装脚在其表面设置被打薄但未贯穿的薄型区,该薄型区至少与所述通孔的内壁面相对。
进一步地,所述安装脚系由一金属板卷曲而形成,金属板的两个对接边缘留有细缝使得安装脚呈C字型。
进一步地,所述薄型区成对设置并对称分布于所述安装部细缝的两侧。
进一步地,所述安装脚具有两个薄型区,每一薄型区呈上下延伸的鱼眼状。
进一步地,所述安装脚的自由末端呈渐缩式锥状结构。
为实现上述目的,本实用新型还可采用如下技术方案:一种电连接器端子,其包括一安装脚,所述安装脚具有一个金属板卷曲形成的C字型结构,所述安装脚在其表面设有上下延伸被打薄但未贯穿的薄型区。
进一步地,所述薄型区成对设置并对称分布于所述安装脚。
进一步地,所述安装脚的自由末端呈渐缩式的锥状结构。
与现有技术相比,本实用新型至少具有以下有益效果:通过金属板直接卷曲形成所述电连接器端子,制程简单,可减小所述电连接器端子所占空间,从而利于所述电连接器小型化发展。进一步的,安装脚上的薄型区加强了端子的弹性变形,故,金属板以及薄型区的厚度可根据实际使用情况进行调整,以达到既增强端子的刚性,使其不易产生弯曲变形,又能使端子产生所需的径向固持力。

【具体实施方式】
请参阅图1至图6,本实用新型电连接器端子100包括用来插入一电路板2设有的通孔21的安装脚1,所述安装脚1向四周侧向弹性抵压在所述通孔21的内壁面。所述安装脚上端11可与其他其它电气元件(未图示)对接。
请参阅图4至图6,所述安装脚1由金属板101直接卷曲形成,其留有细缝使得安装脚1呈C字型。所述金属板101具有若干上下延伸呈鱼眼状被打薄但未贯穿的薄型区12,所述薄型区12位于所述电连接器端子100的外表面。所述薄型区12成对设置并对称分布于所述安装脚1,藉此可使得所述安装脚1受力均匀分布,在与对接连接器连接过程中,不易摇晃,提升了所述电连接器端子100的稳定性。
请重点参阅图4和图5,所述安装脚1从头至尾为平滑曲面,外表面呈规则圆柱状,自由末端13呈渐缩式锥状结构以在该端子100插入电路板2时产生导引作用。所述安装脚1直径大于电路板通孔21直径,当所述电连接器端子100插入到电路板通孔21中时,所述安装脚1与通孔21内壁相接触并受其挤压而产生径向弹性变形,从而使端子100稳固地固持于通孔21内。在电连接器端子100插入电路板通孔21时,薄型区12与外表面共同承受插入力,薄型区12间形成肋条以保证端子100的刚性,使其不易产生弯曲变形,薄型区12所在的打薄区域则可增加端子100的弹性,增加端子100的固持力。
所述安装脚1的制作方法不限于实施例中所述,其中金属板101的厚度及薄型区12的数量、位置、大小和深度均可根据实际情况做调整,例如,金属板101的内外表面均可设置薄型区12,薄型区12既可设为孤型曲面也可设为凹槽,金属板101亦可卷曲呈M型或N型端子。

1.一种电连接器端子,其包括用来插入一电路板设有的通孔内的安装脚,所述安装脚四周侧向弹性抵压在所述通孔的内壁面,其特征在于:所述安装脚进一步在其表面设置被打薄但未贯穿的薄型区,该薄型区至少与所述通孔的内壁面相对。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器端子,其特征在于:所述安装脚系由一金属板卷曲而形成,金属板的两个对接边缘留有细缝使得安装脚呈C字型。
3.如权利要求2所述的电连接器端子,其特征在于:所述薄型区成对设置并对称分布于所述安装部细缝的两侧。
4.如权利要求1或3所述的电连接器端子,其特征在于:所述安装脚具有两个薄型区,每一薄型区呈上下延伸的鱼眼状。
5.如权利要求1所述的电连接器端子,其特征在于:所述安装脚的自由末端呈渐缩式锥状结构。
6.一种电连接器端子,其包括一安装脚,所述安装脚具有一个金属板卷曲形成的C字型结构,其特征在于:所述安装脚在其表面设有上下延伸被打薄但未贯穿的薄型区。
7.如权利要求6所述的电连接器端子,其特征在于:所述薄型区成对设置并对称分布于所述安装脚。
8.如权利要求6所述的电连接器端子,其特征在于:所述安装脚的自由末端呈渐缩式的锥状结构。
