具体实施方式
图1-3显示剃须系统10,其包括手柄12、接口元件14、恢复元件16以及刀片单元20,该刀片单元20包括多个刀片22(图1),并且被可枢转地安装到接口元件上。接口元件包括大致刚性主体,其限定腔体(未显示),该腔体的尺寸被设计为接收手柄12的远端。通常,接口元件14、恢复元件16以及刀片单元20作为整体的可替换剃须组件销售给消费者。
参考图4,刀片单元20通过一对指状件30(图7A)的定位而被安装在接口元件14上,该对指状件30从接口元件14延伸进入刀片单元20上的接收孔35(图5A、5B)中。接收孔35可以与刀片单元20一体模制。这种附接容许刀片单元相对于接口单元枢转并且由此相对于手柄枢转。刀片单元枢转止挡件(例如,如图12中显示的止挡凸缘40)可以与刀片单元20一体形成,以限制刀片单元20的枢转。刀片单元20的枢转绕大致平行于刀片单元的长轴、并且大致被定位成容许刀片单元20在剃须期间遵循用户皮肤的轮廓的轴。参考图8A-8D,刀片单元20相对于手柄12的优选角度在停靠时为大约15度,并且在剃须期间,刀片单元相对于皮肤表面的角度能够为从15°至105°的范围。手柄12提供一种如下的方式,即通过这一方式,剃须系统能够被操纵,并且杠杆作用能够被施加,以获得期望的剃须结果。
刀片单元20在图1-3中以三种不同的旋转定向显示。在图1中,刀片单元被恢复元件预先加载并且位于停靠位置,其朝向手柄的底部表面21略微枢转;在图2中,刀片单元朝向手柄的顶部表面23略微枢转;在图3中,刀片单元进一步朝向顶部表面23枢转。这些位置是刀片单元枢转运动的正常范围的代表。随着刀片单元在这些位置之间枢转,恢复元件16在延伸位置(图1)和弯曲位置(图3)之间挠曲,如以下将进一步描述的。
参考图7和7A,恢复元件16被安装在接口元件14上,并且从接口元件的下表面15大致向下和向外延伸。恢复元件16呈大致U形的,并且包括大致直的中心部分17,该中心部分17被配置为接合刀片单元的后表面(例如,如图4中所示)。
如图4-6A中详细显示的,随着刀片单元朝向手柄的上表面枢转,恢复元件16变形越来越大,直到其最终达到如图6和6A中显示的弯曲位置。随着其变形,恢复元件16在剃须期间提供阻力,限制刀片单元绕如上所述的枢转轴自由枢转。此外,恢复元件16提供恢复力,其以与通常由推进件/随动件组件提供阻力和恢复力相同的方式、将刀片单元16朝向其停靠位置偏置。
恢复元件16可以与接口元件14一体模制,例如,通过将弹性体与用于形成接口元件的主体的刚性塑料共同模制。应当注意,本文中所使用的术语“共同模制”包括传递模制、多种材料模制以及适于将两种或更多种不同材料模制成单一部分的其他技术。
恢复元件16能够由例如合成或天然橡胶材料形成。合适的材料是剃须系统领域中所公知的,并且包括热塑性弹性体,例如可以从KraiburgHTP获得的基于聚醚的热塑性弹性体(TPE)、热塑性聚氨酯(TPU)、硅酮、可以从GLSPolyOne公司获得的商标名称为SantopreneTM的、基于聚醚的热塑性硫化弹性体(TPV)。弹性材料被选择,以提供期望程度的恢复力和耐久性。在一些实施方式中,弹性体具有小于大约45邵氏硬度的硬度,例如,大约20至90邵氏硬度。
恢复元件16被设计为,使得其几何形状提供如装配所施加的荷载,其足以使刀片单元恢复至其原始位置,即在不使用时(例如,当手柄被保持而刀片单元上没有任何荷载时)抵靠接口元件上的止挡件(例如,图12中显示的止挡凸缘40)。优选地,预张紧荷载通常为至少5克,例如5至50克,并且剃须期间的荷载为大约5至100克。
手柄12提供一种如下的方式,即通过这一方式,剃须系统能够被操纵,并且杠杆作用能够被施加,以获得期望的剃须结果。优选地,手柄12被设计为与接口元件14连接,以容许容易地移除和附接。这能够以很多方式完成,例如机械锁定机构、磁相互作用等。例如,手柄接口元件14和手柄12能够以于2012年5月25日提交的美国序列号61/651,732以及于2013年3月13日提交的美国序列号13/802,546中描述的方式配合,这两份申请的全部公开内容通过参考被包含在本文中。而且,尽管接口元件被显示为凹的元件且手柄被显示为凸的元件,如果期望,相反的配置也可以被使用。
手柄12的坚硬部分、刀片单元20的壳体、以及接口元件14能够由任何合适的材料制成,包括例如金属、乙缩醛(POM)、丙烯腈·丁二烯·苯乙烯(ABS)、聚乙烯对苯二甲酸酯(PET或PETE)、高密度(HD)PETE、热塑性聚合物、聚丙烯、定向聚丙烯、聚氨酯、聚氯乙烯(PVC)、聚四氟乙烯(PTFE)、聚酯、高光聚酯、尼龙或其任何组合。
这里已经描述了若干实施例。然而,应当理解,可以在不背离本申请的精神和范围的前提下作出各种修改。
例如,恢复元件可以具有不同的形状,例如,恢复元件16呈两个独立的指状件42a、42b的形式(如图9中所示)或者单个中央布置的指状件44的形式(如图10中所示)。在这种情况中,指状件被配置为以如上所述的相同方式变形,并且提供类似的恢复力。在这些实施方式中,以及在恢复元件为大致U形的一些实施方式中,刀片单元20的后表面可以包括一个或多个特征46,其被定位成用作恢复元件16的远端的止挡件。支撑特征46可以增强恢复元件16响应于旋转力而弯曲或屈曲的能力。
而且,尽管可移除的剃须组件已经在以上讨论,在一些实施方式中,剃须系统被设计为其作为整体是一次性的。在这些情况下,剃须组件以不意图使消费者移除的方式被附在手柄上,例如通过将接口元件固定地安装在手柄的远端上。这可以通过例如以下方式实现:在手柄和接口元件上相应的机械锁定特征的接合、焊接(例如,超声波焊接)、将接口元件与手柄整体模制、或者任何其他期望的安装技术。一次性剃须系统100的一个示例显示在图13中,用于这种系统的剃须组件显示在图13A中。在这种情况下,手柄112包括凸起150(仅其中的一个被显示,另一个位于手柄的相反侧),并且接口元件包括相应的锁定凹口152。
恢复元件还可以具有当从侧面观看时的不同形状。例如,侧面轮廓可以限定单向弯曲(如图7和7A中所示)或者双向弯曲的“S”形(如图14和14A中所示)。后一形状可以被用于进一步从刀片单元的枢转点移动恢复力,以更好地在剃须期间平衡刀片单元。
