目前，有的电热壶的壶身是用玻璃制成的，其玻璃壶体与发热盘是用粘接的方式连接在一起的，这样的方式使制作工艺难，时间比较长，容易脱落。

本实用新型所要解决的技术问题是提供一种结构简单、连接牢固的玻璃电水壶。
本实用新型解决其技术问题所采用的技术方案是：提供一种玻璃电水壶，包括玻璃壶体和发热盘，所述的玻璃壶体与发热盘之间用硅胶密封器圈密封。
所述的玻璃壶体置于壶身座上，所述的发热盘置于发热盘支架上。

玻璃壶体5、发热盘4、硅胶密封器圈3三个零件是用卷边工艺加工，比原先的粘接工艺效率提高1倍以上，时间由原来的48小时缩短为几分钟。
