衬塑钢管已广泛使用给水工程的安装，在实际使用中，大口径衬塑钢管采用沟槽连接方法，实施方法简单，拆卸方便。由于目前使用的衬塑钢管沟槽连接时，先在钢管内衬塑料层然后滚槽导致滚槽设备双面滚轮夹顶塑料层，作业时速度过快，压力过大或钢管与塑料层结合强度不高产生脱胶或局部脱胶，且未安装管端密封圈，也没有在钢管端面包覆塑料层，使用时，压力水冲刷塑胶层使压力水进入夹层，将塑料层与钢管连接的胶合层冲开使塑料管移位从而发生管道阻塞的质量事故。

本实用新型提供一种衬塑钢管连接用的密封圈，其特征在于，在衬塑钢管端面上装有密封圈，该密封圈为能够完全包覆衬塑钢管端面的U型圈，然后将套有密封圈的衬塑钢管端面相对用卡箍卡紧衬塑钢管上的槽口，从而使得两个衬塑钢管密封连接。
其中，密封圈的材料为乙烯-醋酸乙烯共聚物。
其中，密封圈的材料为橡胶。
其中，密封圈的材料为聚四氟乙烯。
本实用新型的U型密封圈，解决现有技术中大口径衬塑钢管沟槽连接时密封不好，容易导致塑料层和钢管脱离并阻塞管道的难题，取得了良好的社会效益和经济效益。
