Abstract

本实用新型公开一种电连接器端子,其包括固持部、自固持部上端延伸的弹性臂、自固持部下端延伸的焊接部;该弹性臂包括主体,自主体延伸的延伸部,以及自延伸部延伸的伸长部,其中伸长部上设有至少一个开口。本实用新型电连接器端子具有较佳的韧性及导电性能。

【技术领域】
本实用新型涉及一种电连接器端子,尤指一种电性连接两个分离的电子组件的电连接器端子。
【背景技术】
电连接器端子广泛地应用于电连接器中以在两个电性接口之间建立电性通道,例如于一导电基层(如印刷电路板)与一集成电路模块(如一中央处理单元)之间建立起电性通道。
与本实用新型相关的技术请参考图1,一种电连接器端子1’包括主体11’,焊接尾部12’,竖直的头部13’,自主体11’顶端延伸而出的连接臂14’以及自连接臂14’自由末端延伸的弹性悬臂141’其中,头部13’与弹性臂14’分别设于主体11’中心线的两侧且均偏离中心线一段距离,头部13’与弹性臂14’的间形成一段间隔。但是,弹性悬臂141’一般具有更大的宽度,限制了电流的通过。此外,前述类型的电连接器端子1’可能存在韧性较差的典型性问题,这将导致无法满足变形的要求。
鉴于此,实有必要提供一种新型的电连接器端子,以解决前述电连接器端子的缺陷。
【实用新型内容】
本实用新型要解决的技术问题是提供一种电连接器端子,其具有良好的韧性及导电性能。
本实用新型是这样解决上述技术问题的:一种电连接器端子,其包括固持部、自固持部上端延伸的弹性臂、自固持部下端延伸的焊接部,该弹性臂包括主体,自主体延伸的延伸部,自延伸部延伸的伸长部,其中伸长部上设有至少一个开口。
与相关技术相比,本实用新型电连接器端子具有以下优点:本实用新型电连接器端子于弹性臂上设有至少一个开口,因此,电性导通时端子形成并联回路,因此导电能力更强;此外,由于弹性臂上设置有开口,故能够提高端子的韧性及减少材料用量,经济性较好。

【具体实施方式】
请参考图2,为本实用新型电连接器端子1的一种实施方式。本实用新型电连接器端子1主要使用于电连接件,例如,LGA(Land Grid Array)电连接器,用以电性连接两个导电介质,如集成电路模块(未图示)与印刷电路板(未图示),但是并不局限应用于此。
继续参阅图2,电连接器端子1由导电材料制成,其包括垂直设置的平板状的固持部11,用以固持端子于相应的连接器的收容通道中。
一竖直的头部13自固持部11的顶部的末端延伸而出,以使电连接器端子1更可靠的固持于连接器的收容通道之中。在本实施方式中,头部13大致呈纵长形的板状结构且与固持部11共面。应当能够理解,头部13可以成型为其它的结构,只要其能够满足端子于电连接器中更高的可靠性的要求。
一水平的焊接部12自固持部11的底部侧缘弯曲延伸而出,其大致垂直于固持部11。焊接部12通过相应的焊接元件(如焊球)在端子与印刷电路板之间建立起电性连接。
弹性臂14自头部13的一侧边延伸而出,其与头部13之间呈锐角设置,其穿过固持部11所确定的垂直平面。弹性臂14包括自头部13向上延伸而出且与头部13相连的主体141,自主体13以一微小夹角倾斜向上延伸且与头部13存在一定间距的延伸部142,以及自延伸部142的顶部弯曲延伸而出的伸长部143。伸长部143包括与水平面之间呈不同夹角的第一弯曲部1431及第二弯曲部1432,伸长部143的中部位置处设有一长形的开口1430,该开口1430于厚度方向同时贯穿了第一弯曲部1431及第二弯曲部1432,以使端子形成一并联回路,故能够提高端子的电性导通能力且使其弹性较好。
电连接器端子1进一步包括设于弹性臂14末端的接触部144,该接触部144设于端子的顶部以与集成电路模块上对应的导电片电性连接。本实施例中,接触部144是弯曲的结构或者是弧形的结构,第二弯曲部1432与接触部144相连,其与水平面的夹角大于第一弯曲部1431与水平面的夹角。
使用中,电连接器端子1收容于电性连接集成电路模块与印刷电路板的连接器的绝缘本体中,焊接部12焊接至印刷电路板。弹性臂14在外力的作用下发生弹性形变,接触部144在弹性臂14弹性形变所产生的弹性力的作用下与集成电路模块上对应的导电片紧密接触。由此,集成电路模块与印刷电路板之间建立起电性连接。
上述实施例中,电连接器端子1的伸长部143的中部设有一长形的开口1430,故端子1的电性导通能力大于相关技术的端子。此外,纵长形开口1430的设计提高了端子的弹性且使端子用料较少,因此,与上述相关技术的端子相比,本实用新型电连接器端子1具有较佳的电气性能及经济性。

Claims (10)

1.一种电连接器端子,其包括:固持部,自固持部一端延伸的弹性臂;其特征在于:所述弹性臂上设有至少一个开口。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器端子,其特征在于:所述弹性臂包括主体,自主体延伸的延伸部,自延伸部延伸的伸长部。
3.如权利要求2所述的电连接器端子,其特征在于:所述开口设于伸长部上。
4.如权利要求2所述的电连接器端子,其特征在于:所述电连接器端子还包括自固持部向上延伸且与固持部共面的头部。
5.如权利要求4所述的电连接器端子,其特征在于:所述弹性臂与头部之间呈锐角设置。
6.如权利要求4所述的电连接器端子,其特征在于:所述弹性臂自头部的一侧延伸而出且与固持部之间有一定间距。
7.如权利要求4所述的电连接器端子,其特征在于:所述主体与头部之间设有间隔。
8.如权利要求1所述的电连接器端子,其特征在于:所述电连接器端子还包括设于弹性臂顶端的接触部。
9.如权利要求1所述的电连接器端子,其特征在于:所述弹性臂包括主体,自主体延伸而出的延伸部,以及自延伸部的顶端延伸而出的伸长部。
10.如权利要求9所述的电连接器端子,其特征在于:所述开口设于伸长部的中部。
