现有的机动车夜间在道路上行驶的过程中，如有会车情况时前大灯需要由远光变近光，减速行驶，驾驶员前方视线不清，易出交通事故。

本实用新型目的是提供一种机动车侧灯，解决了机动车会车时驾驶员前方视线不清的的问题。
本实用新型的技术解决方案是：机动车侧灯由一个或者多个灯安装在机动车的侧面，打开时为对方驾驶员指明其前方道路情况。
本实用新型的优点是：
1、安装简单，成本低；
2、减少了道路交通事故的发生。

具体实施方式：
机动车侧灯由灯1和灯2安装在机动车的侧面。会车时，关闭远光灯、打开近光灯，同时打开侧灯1和侧灯2，互为对方驾驶员指明其前方道路情况。会车后关闭侧灯1和侧灯2、打开远光灯即可。适用于各种机动车上。
