为了克服现有石英玻璃光纤单芯软光缆作为光纤到户的室内布线光缆的不足,本实用新型提供一种新的塑料光纤带光缆,可以减少生产工序,减轻重量,降低生产成本,施工时接续方便,提高工作效率。
本实用新型提供的应用于光纤到户的室内布线塑料光纤带光缆包括数根塑料光纤及每根塑料光纤外包覆的护层,各护层之间设有连接筋将数根塑料光纤及护层连接成带状结构。
本实用新型由于采用塑料光纤并连接成带状结构,制造简单,重量减轻,制造成本降低,由于塑料光纤的的直径比石英玻璃光纤大许多,施工时接续方便,在室内适用于如墙面、地毯下等多场合布线,提高了工作效率。
