Description

Applicator pad and correlation technique thereof
Technical field
The present invention relates to a kind of applicator pad, this applicator pad can be used for chemicals (chemical composition) (for example glazing agent or polishing agent) is applied on substrate surface.More particularly, the present invention relates to a kind of floor mop pad, this mop pads contains makes it be suitable for very much the chemicals such as glazing agent or polishing agent is applied to the fiber combinations on floor surface. In addition, the invention still further relates to floor polisher or similar formulations are applied to the method on base material.
Background technology
In order to make surface have required performance, in a lot of situations, be all that painting application preparation is applied on described surface. For example, in commercial building, educational institution, family and restaurant, all use widely floor polishing agent or glazing agent, so that the surface on floor has durability, toughness and glossiness, and improve its wearability. Some floor polisher is coated with spraying method; Other floor polisher is with mop or similarly applicator or its certain combination are coated with. The coating of floor polisher is normally carried out by hand as follows: the liquid floor polisher is poured out from container, and with mop or painting device, floor polisher is coated on whole floor surface. For the larger surface of area (the larger surface of those areas of for example arriving seen in business environment), usually by two people or many people, work together the coated floor glazing agent.A kind of method is: a workman is sprinkling upon floor polisher on floor or is sprayed on floor, and another workman follows thereafter the applicator of mop in tow or other type through wet floor polisher, so that described glazing agent evenly, entirely is distributed in floor surface. This coating operation is labor-intensive, and usually requires the floor protecting personnel that mop was repeatedly dragged to floor surface, so that floor area realizes is complete, cover equably. For large-scale commercial building, even on floor, be coated with the such operation of one deck glazing agent, also can take time and effort.
People have used multiple different mop or applicator that floor polisher is applied on floor surface.People often use the applicator with the plane formula mop head of being made by microfibre, because this applicator often can be smooth by floor polisher, be uniformly applied on floor, and can on floor polisher, not stay undesirable streak or mop vestige.Yet, when this mop head, when floor surface drags, usually show large resistance. The mop of the routine that the employing microfibre is made tends to mat, therefore, when it is drenched by (for example) water, floor polisher or cleaning solution, resistance is increased. This large resistance means: the workman of use applicator must apply larger power and along floor, pull or promote mop, and this can make the task of coated floor glazing agent become more difficult and tiring usually.
Except the coated floor glazing agent, when using applicator or apparatus for coating (such as application roll/pad, toilet paper handkerchief etc.) that the chemicals of other type or painting application preparation are applied to hard surface, because the material that makes coating have optimum performance also has large resistance usually, so thrust or the excessive problem of pulling force also exist. Therefore, for applicator, exist a kind of like this demand: this applicator can, with pulling force or the thrust of less, form coating smooth, uniform chemicals on substrate surface.
Summary of the invention
The invention is characterized in a kind of fabric, this fabric can be used for chemicals (for example floor polisher) is applied on substrate surface (for example floor surface).Fabric of the present invention can consist of at least two kinds of different materials. The first material is to help to make fabric to have the supporting material of compression strength. This supporting material can by (such as) formation such as rigid fiber or coarse denier fiber, sponge, nonwoven web, cellular material. The second material is to be coated with the application material, this is coated with the application material and usually adsorbent fibers or fine count fiber (for example microfibre), consists of, these fibers are suitable for chemicals is applied to substrate surface, and obtain substantially not having streak or brush mark, smooth and uniform coating.
Generally speaking, with the form of applicator pad, provide described textile material, this applicator pad has and the working face that is coated with the application preparation and contacts with substrate surface. The consumption of supporting material in the applicator pad working face will depend on required thrust or the size of pulling force, but, this consumption is generally less than 40%, be generally less than 30%, be more typically less than 20%, be generally most less than 10%, and the remaining part of this working face forms by being coated with the application material. In some embodiments, the working face of applicator pad contains and has an appointment 1% to about 50% supporting material with approximately 50% to about 99% painting application material.More generally, the working face of applicator pad contains and has an appointment 2% to about 10% supporting material with approximately 90% to about 98% painting application material. The most normally that the working face of applicator pad contains has an appointment 5% to about 9% supporting material with approximately 91% to about 95% painting application material.
On the other hand, the invention is characterized in a kind of applicator pad, in this applicator pad, supporting material is approximately 1: 1 to approximately 0.1: 10 with the ratio that is coated with the application material, is more typically approximately 1: 10 to approximately 0.2: 10.In one embodiment of the invention, supporting material contains polypropylene fibre and/or polyethylene fibre, is coated with the application material and contains polyester fiber.
In the embodiment that another can Gong select, supporting material and painting application material are same or similar materials, are for example polypropylene, polyethylene or polyester. If (for example) by described fibre compact press together, be coated with the application material support functions can be provided, thereby improve the compression strength of material.
The height of supporting material is usually basic identical or different from the height that is coated with the application material. Can and be coated with the application material by supporting material and be distributed in any suitable manner on whole working face, and the two mode with pattern (band that for example replaces or the row that replaces) can be distributed on whole working face.
Before, in the applicator system, application rigid fiber or coarse denier fiber are applied to thing to be applied on base material, and this often can relate to undesirable streak or the brush mark of generation in coating. One of advantage of the present invention is: described applicator pad contains the rigid fiber that combines with adsorptivity or absorbency fiber, makes pulling force or the thrust that need apply reduce, and still can obtain substantially not having simultaneously the smooth coating of streak or vestige. As shown in following embodiment part, relatively a small amount of supporting material is combined with being coated with the application material, can under the condition of not damaging the gained coating quality, the pulling force that need apply or thrust shockingly significantly be descended.
The applicator pad of being made by fabric of the present invention can be used as to (for example) coated floor glazing agent mop head used. The alternate manner that can Gong select is, can be by described applicator pad for being coated with following any painting application preparation other applicator system used, described painting application preparation is: for example, and floor polisher, wax, coating, polishing agent, washing agent, disinfectant, cleaning agent, adhesive etc.
