背景技术
当旅行时,商务人士等通常需要携带各种电子设备,例如膝上型电脑、移动电话、便携式打印机、PDA、DVD/CD播放器、投影仪/照相机以及相应的附件(例如电池充电器、变压器、适配器等)。不同电子设备/附件15在空间、效率和使用方面的管理常常是艰巨的工作。
现已努力开发了各种运输箱以最小化带有电子装备的旅行的一些缺点,参见例如美国专利5,105,338、5,217,119、5,379,893、5,400,903、5,494,157、5,524,754、5,607,054、5,639,004、5,971,148和6,098,769。除了上述成果,还开发了用于与行李箱协作的系统,或类似设备,以最小化或消除带有电子设备/附件的旅行的一些缺点,并且因而提高上述设备/附件的功效。
发明内容
本发明的目标是提供带有接口的行李箱,该接口用于与各种便携式电子和/或无线设备协作,以提高其效率。
本发明的另一个目标是提供带有电源的上述行李箱,该电源具有相对最小的空间需求。
本发明的另一个目标是提供带有电源产生部件的上述行李箱,用于与具有行李箱的一个或多个轮子协作以给电源充电。
本发明的另一个目标是提供能够通过外部电源给电源充电的上述行李箱。
本发明的另一个目标是提供带有天线的上述行李箱,用于改善各种便携式电子和/或无线设备的性能。
本发明还有另一个目标是提供具有无线通信系统的上述行李箱,用于与上述一个或多个电子的和/或无线设备相协作,并且/或者提高其性能。
本发明的上述和其他目标和优点是通过这样的行李箱实现的:其具有接口、电源、电源产生部件、天线、无线通信系统或上述装置的任意组合。本发明提供的行李箱提高了各种便携式设备的效率,并且最终改善了需要携带上述设备的商务人士的整体旅行体验。

具体实施方式
参照附图,特别是附图1,示出了根据本发明说明性实施例的一件行李箱,并且一般由参考数字1表示。如上所示,行李箱1实质上具有用于与一个或多个电子和/或无线设备20、22、24、26、28协作的接口10、电源30、天线40和无线通信系统50或上述设备的任意组合。
行李箱1还可以优选地具有通过与其转动地连接的一个或多个轮子60而滚动的性能,以方便或减轻行李箱1的运输。优选地,一个或多个轮子60与电子枢纽电动机(electric hub motor)70或类似的用于通过一个或多个轮子60的旋转动作而生成电力的设备。此外,行李箱1可以具有一个或多个把手80,该把手包括例如,伸缩的或可延伸的把手和/或更常规的携带把手。行李箱1还可以具有多种隔板、附件和/或适合改善其有效地使用的其他特征的任何一个。
接口10优选地具有一个或多个连接器15。优选地,一个或多个连接器15适合于多种连接类型,包括例如电缆连接、对接(docking)连接、无线电连接、红外连接和/或无线连接。此外,接口10可以具有适配器功能和/或适合向各种不同电子设备提供电源的电源插座/插口。优选地,通常状况下的接口10能够与任何可无线启动的设备协作。上述设备的实例不仅包括PC、PDA和膝上型电脑,而且包括下列任何具有无线功能的设备;车辆、应用工具、键盘等。
一个或多个电子和/或无线设备20、22、24、26、28优选地为便携式的,例如,膝上型计算机、PDA、蜂窝电话、数码照相机、便携式打印机等。还有落入本发明的其他设备包括,例如,衣物熨斗、剪发刀/剃须刀、烫发器、理发用吹风机和任何其他便携式个人护理设备。值得注意的是,多种其他的电子设备的任何一个可能同样适合与本发明协作。
电源30优选为可再充电的电池,其可以通过加入到行李箱1中的电源产生部件70和/或外部电源被充电。电源产生部件70优选为与行李箱1的一个或多个轮子60协作,以便通过行李箱1的一个或多个轮子60的旋转动作而给可再充电电池30充电。可再充电电池30优选为具有相对扁平的低的外形,以避免占用大量空间。可再充电电池30既可以选择性地连接到行李箱1的表面42,也可以整体地连接到行李箱1的表面42。电源30优选为除了向一个或多个电子和/无线设备20、22、24、26、28提供临时功率外,还可以向接口10、天线40和/或无线通信系统50提供功率(对于根据本发明运行的每一个特征来说如果有必要的话)。
天线40优选为可以通过接口10或者直接与一个或多个电子和/或无线设备20、22、24、26、28协作,以提高上述设备的性能。天线40优选为印刷的导电墨水40,并且能够优选地为与行李箱1的表面42成为一个整体。天线40还可以具有适合于促进一个或多个电子和/或无线设备20、22、24、26、28的预定目的的任何其他形式。例如,天线40可以具有附图4所示的光纤结构44,有一个或多个导电光纤46与一个或多个不导电光纤48根据任何用于编织、缝合、接合的已知常规方法而互相盘绕,以便形成灵活、有弹性且不连续的天线,该天线与形成行李箱1的物质成为一个整体。并且,为了适应不同功能需求,天线40可以是可分离的、可调整的、可扩展的和/或可替换的。
参照附图2和附图3,无线通信系统50优选具有访问服务器52,其与一个或多个本地网络访问点54连接,能够与一个或多个电子和/或无线设备20、22、24、26、28协作。无线通信系统50还可以优选为与具有一个或多个终端站58的局域网56(例如LAN、PAN、WAN等)选择性地连接,以允许无线通信系统50与在附近地区中当前存在的局域网协作。无线通信系统50还可以优选地连接到远程通信网络51,例如互联网,以允许连接到无线通信系统50的一个或多个电子和/或无线设备20、22、24、26、28与远程用户53和/或其他远程站点55的无线通信系统通信。无线通信系统50可以具有互联网接口57、局域网接口59、微处理器61、存储器63、输入/输出设备65、红外接口67、无线电接口69和/或任何其他适合系统预定的目的的例如GPS接口62、GPRS接口64、PBX接口66和POTS或PSTN接口68。除了上述的之外,无线通信系统50还能够自动地或选择性地、同时地或分离地促进多种并且变化的连接。此外,无线通信系统50还可以具有例如授权和/或鉴别协议等安全特征。
上面特别参照本发明的优选形式描述了本发明,很明显,在其中可以作出不同的改变和修改,而不背离这里确定的本发明的精神。

Claims (20)

1、一种行李箱(1),包括:
接口(10),用于与一个或多个电子和/或无线设备(20、22、24、26、28)协作;以及
电源,
其中所述接口(10)促进在上述一个或多个电子和/或无线设备(20、22、24、26、28)和上述电源(30)之间的协作。
2、权利要求1中的行李箱(1),其中所述接口(10)具有一个或多个连接器(15)。
3、权利要求2的行李箱(2),其中所述一个或多个连接器(15)适合不同类型的连接,包括电缆型连接、对接型连接、无线电型连接、红外型连接或无线型连接,或上述连接的任何组合。
4、权利要求1中的行李箱(1),其中所述电源(30)是可再充电电池(30)。
5、权利要求4中的行李箱(1),其中所述可再充电电池(30)是通过电源产生部件(70)被充电的。
6、权利要求5中的行李箱(1),其中所述电源产生部件(70)与行李箱的一个或多个轮子(60)协作,以便通过所述一个或多个轮子(60)的旋转动作而给可再充电电池(30)充电。
7、权利要求4中的行李箱(1),其中所述可再充电电池(30)是通过外部电源被充电的。

9、权利要求1中的行李箱(1),还包括天线(40)。

11、权利要求9中的行李箱(1),其中所述天线是印刷的导电墨水,其与行李箱的表面(42)是一个整体。
12、权利要求9中的行李箱(1),其中所述天线通过所述接口(10)与一个或多个电子和/或无线设备(20、22、24、26、28)协作。
13、一种行李箱(1),包括:
接口(10),用于与一个或多个电子和/或无线设备(20、22、24、26、28)协作;以及
天线(40)、一个或多个电子和/或无线设备(20、22、24、26、28),
其中所述接口(10)促进所述一个或多个电子和/或无线设备(20、22、24、26、28)与所述天线(40)之间的协作。
