技术领域
本发明涉及网络化媒体的领域,尤其涉及用于基于被设计成满足用户需求与兴趣并具有增强的效用的相干营销策略,生成一组能选择性地以配合的方式传递给用户的有区分的广告内容的平台。
背景技术
因特网和其它网络化广告服务的成长在近几年中不断增长,且在线广告业在持续扩展。随着广告商和因特网服务供应商的增长,广告服务技术和广告宣传的策略的效用和到达变得更重要,且延伸到更大数量的消费者。然而,即使在当今,大多数广告传递策略也保持相当静态和无区分,且大多数都将相同的内容传递到广大的多样化消费者,而不管其不同的需求或兴趣如何。
例如,尽管某些因特网搜索服务已经例如实现了通过反转IP查找或其它方法来检测用户位置的局部性引擎,然而即使随后在一个区域内传递的本地内容通常也以未加区分的方式传递到该区域中的所有用户。即,在那些和其它情形中,向用户呈现了对广告条、弹出广告、音频或视频流或其它内容的相同选择,而无论其在相关产品或服务中的偏好、历史或潜在兴趣如何。

发明内容

具体实施方式
图1依照本发明的实施例,示出了其中用于生成配合的广告宣传的系统和方法可操作的环境。如图所示,用户可操作包括诸如图形用户界面或其它界面等的用户界面104的客户机102,来访问网络化的站点或内容,诸如因特网上的万维网站或其它内容。客户机102可以是或包括,例如,计算机、启用网络的蜂窝电话、启用网络的个人数字助理、或可通过有线、无线、光学或其它连接或信道连接到因特网或其它网络连接的其它客户机、机器或设备。例如,用户可使用客户机102,使用浏览器或其它应用程序或工具导航和访问万维网站114或其它网络站点。
依照本发明一个方面的实施例,当用户导航到万维网站114或其它因特网或其它网络站点或目的地,该站点可向用户呈现一组内容,该组内容可包括例如文本、图像、音频或例如用超文本标记语言(HTML)、可扩展标记语言(XML)或其它代码或格式编码的其它媒体。当用户例如通过输入统一资源定位器(URL)或其它网络地址或标识符来访问万维网站114或其它站点或位置时,可生成该页面的固定内容用于传输到客户机102。然而,依照本发明的实施例,也可生成附加内容或媒体以传输到客户机,并在用户界面104、浏览器或其它应用程序的一组可配置内容槽106或其它动态或可选择内容区域中显示。该组可配置内容槽106可以是或包括,例如占位符、用于广告条的显示的槽或区域、流音频或视频剪辑、flash动画或幻灯片演示、或其它内容或媒体。在各实施例中,该内容或媒体可以是或包括广告内容,例如用于在万维网页或其它站点上显示的广告。
更具体地,当用户导航到万维网站114或其它位置,万维网站114可例如通过传输控制协议/互联网协议(TCP/IP)或其它过程或调用,向内容引擎110发出对一组可选择配合内容108的调用。依照本发明一方面的实施例,内容引擎110也可在访问该万维网站或其它站点时直接或间接接收用户标识符116,并且生成该页面或站点的内容。在各实施例中,用户标识符可包括,例如跟踪或信息对象,如对关于用户以及在各情况下其浏览或交易历史的信息进行编码的cookie或其它数据或文件。在各实施例中,用户标识符116也可包括通过显式用户对话框或关于浏览、交易或其它偏好的其它反馈生成的概况。
由此,当内容引擎110从万维网站114接收检索并发送或供应作为可选择配合内容108的一部分的广告或其它媒体或内容的请求时,内容引擎110可分析所访问的站点和/或用户标识符116,来标识配合的广告或其它内容,以在该站点、内容供应商和该用户会话的环境中传递。由此,例如,内容引擎110可通过用户标识符116中编码的交易历史,确定用户已导航到与汽车修理或服务有关的万维网站,和/或用户最近完成了汽车购买或租赁交易。用户标识符116同样可编码其它用户行为或偏好,诸如用户最近或长期的万维网站访问期间的平均停留时间、语言或货币偏好、与用户的行为或历史有关的位置或其它参数。
内容引擎110可在适当时分解万维网站114标识以及用户标识符116,以依照协调的营销策略或宣传以不同的方式标识和生成优化的、配合的广告或其它内容。依照该配合计划供应的可选择配合内容108可被主存在内容数据库112,或可被异步地调用以透明且动态地传递到访问万维网站114的用户的其它内容存储中,并从其中检索。对于图2所示的实例更具体的的是,内容数据库112可以至少容纳配合的广告内容118以及一般广告内容120两者。当内容引擎110确定万维网站114和/或用户标识符116表明用户希望或是一合适的候选人接收有目标的广告或其它计划材料,可访问并供应配合的广告内容118。在其它情况下,其中万维网站114不能被验证为本发明的内容传送平台的参与者,或者用户不被标识为用于接收配合营销媒体的候选人或希望接收该媒体,则内容引擎110可传递一般广告内容120,例如在可配置的内容槽106或其它地方显式。
在本发明另一方面的实施例中,广告商或其它内容供应者、或生成、供应或管理主存在内容数据库112中或别处的配合广告内容118的其他人,可被给予在需要时基于一组准则或条件定制或设计要传送的内容的选项。例如,配合广告内容118或其部分的选择或传送可取决于个别用户或用户组的用法或指定的万维网站或万维网站序列来做出,或对这些用户或万维网站是专用的。特定的配合广告内容118同样可在发生了诸如购买交易等指定事件或基于其它变量或数据来调节。例如,可向其浏览历史表明在给定万维网站或万维网站类别上的较短停留时间的用户供应更间接的广告或更短的音频或视频剪辑,作为配合广告内容118的一部分。
在万维网站114和/或用户标识符116表明配合内容的传送的情况下,在各实施例中,如图3所示的内容引擎110从一组可选择配合模式122中选择一可选择配合广告内容118的范围,以供定制地传送到该站点并用于该会话。该组可选择配合模式122或策略可以是或包括,例如广告宣传,或被设计成实现已定义的营销和信息目标并由此增强用户的媒体体验的其它模式、技术或策略。例如,并且如图所示,该组可选择配合模式122可以是或包括环绕会话,其中所有可用的可配置内容槽106由单个销售商或一组相关产品或服务的广告或内容占据。当部署环绕类型或类似的会话时可使用其它浸没或综合宣传模式或技术,包括例如播放与单个产品、销售商或服务,或在相干组中排列的相关来源、产品或服务有关的音频或视频剪辑。
类似地,该组可选择配合模式122也可包括诸如同步宣传等模式或宣传类型,其中可呈现在会话或会话系列上构建一致故事情节的一系列或一列相关广告或内容。另一模式可包括顺序广告格式,其中该组可选择配合内容108可根据用户在购买通道或其它交易序列中的位置来变化。在这一情况下,例如,可从在线目录中选择产品时在可配置内容槽106中向用户呈现一组广告条,但是当用户前进到交易序列的购买阶段时向用户呈现flash动画或其它丰富媒体。另一计划模式可包括商业间断,其中整个页面可临时用HTML或其它广告或内容来替换。其它且另外的模式、策略、宣传和序列都是可能的。依照本发明一般意义上的实施例,由于可选择配合内容108试图将传送给用户的广告材料或其它内容的影响或相关性最大化,因此参与的广告商或其它内容供应商可避免浪费的内容传送并达到更有效的做广告结果。用户可发现该配合的内容和媒体更易于解释,且更紧密地与其兴趣和需求匹配,由此也建立了一种更积极的基础用于未来的交互。

Claims (8)

1.一种用于生成可选择配合广告内容以供通过网络传送的计算机系统,包括:
对客户机的接口,用于接收来自用户的对网络站点的访问请求,其中所述客户机开启与所述网络站点的会话,获取该用户的浏览和交易历史,在所述网络站点内提供一个或多个占位符,并为用户生成用户标识符,所述用户标识符对包含在所述浏览和交易历史中的网络地址的访问的平均停留时间进行编码;以及
内容引擎,所述内容引擎与所述接口通信,所述内容引擎基于所述网络站点的标识和所述用户标识符生成配合广告内容,以用于结合所述网络站点传送,所述内容引擎还确定被包含在所述网络站点中的内容是否与所述用户对所述浏览和交易历史中所包含的网络地址的最近访问的内容相匹配,并且:
(1)当所述网络站点中包含的内容与所述最近访问的内容匹配时,在用户的会话期间将与网络站点中包含的内容相似的配合广告内容发送给用户用于在所述占位符中显示,其中配合广告内容包括一组广告宣传,并且所述一组广告宣传包括同步广告宣传和顺序广告宣传中的至少一个,所述同步广告宣传和顺序广告宣传都在占位符处呈现各种媒体类型,所述一组广告宣传的所呈现的媒体类型取决于被编码在所述用户标识符中的所述平均停留时间;以及
(2)当所述网络站点中包含的内容与所述最近访问的内容不匹配时,将一般广告内容发送给用户。
2.如权利要求1所述的系统,其特征在于,所述网络站点包括万维网页。
3.如权利要求1所述的系统,其特征在于,所述客户机包括计算机、启用网络的个人数字助理以及启用网络的蜂窝电话中的至少一个。
