Abstract
本发明提供一种终端装置,安装有包含通信机构的无线模块而使用,其中,所述通信机构具备用于与无线网络进行连接的收发信息天线,具有:第1天线部,与所述收发信息天线物理地或空间地连接;第2天线部,与所述第1天线部连接的同时,与所述无线网络直接进行无线信号的收发。由此,谋求提高通信质量及延长所述终端装置和无线网络间的无线信号到达距离。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及装备无线接口的终端装置(国际专利分类H04N5/64)。
背景技术
近年来,无线LAN,由于其不需适于连接电缆的方便性,正快速普及,例如,如特开平8-107369号公报所公开,即不仅用于所谓TCP/IP连接用途,而且也用于影像·声音的传送用接口。此外,目前的状况是,使用的频率也从2.4GHz带,移位到可更大容量传送的5GHz带。
以下,参照图5及图6说明装备无线接口的以往的终端装置。
图5是装备无线接口的以往的终端装置的简要部分侧剖面图,图6是图5的以往的终端装置的后部的局部立体图。在图5及图6中,以往的终端装置,具有无线模块10、印刷电路4、在后面板上形成安装无线模块10的狭槽9的筐体5。另外,无线模块10包括:无线模块本体1;以与适于与终端装置连接的无线网络进行无线信号的收发的方式,设在无线模块本体1的一端部上的内装天线2等通信机构;以在将无线模块10安装在筐体5的狭槽9上时连接在终端装置上的方式,设在无线模块本体1的另一端部的PCMCIA连接器(connector)3。如图6所示,在将无线模块10安装在筐体5的后面板的狭槽9上时,无线模块10的内装天线2,在筐体5的后面,从狭槽9朝外突出。
以下,说明具有按上述构成的无线接口的以往的终端装置的工作情况。
从适于与终端装置连接的无线网络发送来的已调波,由设在无线模块10上的内装天线2所接收,并在无线模块10的内部解调后变换成基带信号。其后,基带信号借助设在终端装置的印刷电路4上的PCMCIA连接器3,从形成在终端装置的印刷电路4上的信号处理电路,接收与预先确定的协议对应的处理,变换成所要求的数字数据。在从该终端装置向无线网络发送信息时,按上述的相反过程进行。
但是,在上述以往的终端装置中,由于无线模块10安装在终端装置的筐体5的后面板的狭槽9处,因此,在终端装置进行与其它无线网络的收发信息的情况下,发送及接收电波容易被筐体5遮挡,此外受使用PCMCIA接口的物理的、电的制约,限制内装天线2的高增益化及无线模块10的发送电力的上升,结果存在难于确保通信质量及很难延长终端装置和无线网络间的无线信号到达距离的缺陷。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于解决以往例的上述问题,为此提供一种容易进行无线模块的内装天线的高性能化的终端装置。
为达到上述目的,本发明提供一种终端装置,安装有包含通信机构的无线模块而使用,其中,所述通信机构具备用于连接到无线网络的收发信息天线,其特征是,具有:第1天线部,与所述收发信息天线物理地或空间地连接;和第2天线部,与所述第1天线部连接的同时,与所述无线网络直接进行无线信号的收发。

具体实施方式
以下,参照附图说明本发明的实施方式。
(实施方式1)
图1是本发明的实施方式1的终端装置的简要部分侧剖面图,图2是图1的终端装置的断裂部分主视图,图3是图1的终端装置的前部的断裂部分主视图。
在图1、图2和图3中,与以往的终端装置同样,该终端装置具有无线模块10、印刷电路4、形成用于安装无线模块10的狭槽9的筐体5。另外,具有接口功能的卡形的无线模块10,包括:无线模块本体1;以与适于与终端装置连接的无线网络进行无限信号的收发的方式,设在无线模块本体1的一端部的内装天线2等通信机构;以在将无线模块10安装在筐体5的狭槽9上时连接在终端装置上的方式,设在无线模块本体1的另一端部上的PCMCIA连接器3。
与在筐体5的后面板上形成狭槽9的图5及图6的以往的终端装置不同,在本发明的终端装置中,在筐体5的前面板上形成狭槽9。因而,如图1及图3所示,在将无线模块10安装在筐体5的前面板的狭槽9中时,无线模块10的内装天线2在筐体5的前面板,从狭槽9向外突出。另外,与图5及图6以往的终端装置不同,本发明的终端装置具有由第1天线部13和第2天线部14构成的天线装置20、以收容安装在狭槽9中的无线模块10的内装天线2和天线装置20的方式固定粘接在筐体5的前面板上的盖15。第1天线部13以与内装天线2进行收发信息的方式,与内装天线2物理地或空间地连接;另外第2天线部14,与第1天线部13连接的同时,直接与适于与终端装置连接的无线网络进行无线信号的收发。
以下说明按以上构成的终端装置的工作情况。
从适于与终端装置连接的无线网络发送的已调波,首先由粘接固定在终端装置的筐体5的前面板上的盖15内的第2天线部14接收,然后导给第1天线部13。第1天线部13,由于与安装在狭槽9上的无线模块10的内装天线2的电磁结合,所以该已调波就会被收在无线模块10的内部,被变换成基带信号。其后,该基带信号,借助设在终端装置的印刷电路4上的PCMCIA连接器3,由形成在终端装置的印刷电路4上的信号处理电路,接收与预先确定的协议对应的处理,变换成所要求的数字数据。在从该终端装置向无线网络发送信息时,按上述相反的过程进行。
如上所述,通过在不易遮断终端装置的筐体5的前面板等的电波的位置上,配置进行与无线模块10的内装天线2之间的信息收发的第1天线部13、与适于与终端装置连接的无线网络进行信息收发的第2天线部14,能够容易提高通信质量。
另外,在本实施方式中,将无线模块10的接口使用PCMCIA连接器3,但是即使采用SD卡、存储体(memory stack)等其它接口,也能得到同等的效果。此外,在第1天线部13和第2天线部14上,能够使用电介质、狭槽(slot)、补片(patch)等多种方式、形状的元件,关于其尺寸、线路等的设计的自由度也极高。
在表示图1的终端装置的变形例的终端装置所用的天线装置20’的图4中,增益为1以上的高频增幅电路16插入在第1天线部13和第2天线部14的之间。
此外,第1天线部13和第2天线部14也可以固定在开闭式的盖15上。
从以上的说明可以看出,根据本发明,通过在不容易遮断终端装置的筐体的前面板等的电波的位置上,配置与无线模块的内装天线进行收发信息的第1天线部、与适于与终端装置连接的无线网络进行收发信息的第2天线部,能够谋求提高通信质量及延长终端装置和无线网络间的无线信号到达距离的同时,能够容易提高设在受端装置的筐体的前面板等的物理的或电的制约相对小的部位上的第1天线部和第2天线部的指向性、增益等特性。
此外,在本发明中如果在第1天线部和第2天线部的之间插入增益为1以上的高频增幅电路,通过改进发送电力和接收CN比,能够进一步提高通信质量。
Claims (4)
1.一种终端装置,安装有包含通信机构的无线模块而使用,其中,所述通信机构具备用于与无线网络进行连接的收发信息天线,其特征是,具有:
第1天线部,与所述收发信息天线物理地或空间地连接;
第2天线部,与所述第1天线部连接的同时,与所述无线网络直接进行无线信号的收发。
2.如权利要求1所述的终端装置,其特征是:
在所述第1天线部和所述第2天线部的之间插入增益为1以上的高频增幅电路。
3.如权利要求1所述的终端装置,其特征是:
形成以向外方突出所述收发信息天线的方式安装有所述无线模块的狭槽,而且,还具有安装在所述狭槽中的所述无线模块的所述收发信息天线、收容所述第1天线部和所述第2天线部的盖。
4.如权利要求3所述的终端装置,其特征是:
还具有筐体,而且,在所述筐体的前面板,将盖固定粘接。
