                      技术领域

                      背景技术

                      具体实施方式

本发明包含2种类型的纱组分—一种主体织物纱组分和一种已在其中掺入了耐切割纱的耐切割防撕裂纱组分。如本文中所指,纱组分可以是一种纱、一种合股线、或一种纱组合、或一种合股线组合。一般来说,处于一种机织织物的一个方向上的每种纱组分都通过交织正交纱组分而区别于该相同方向上的毗邻纱组分。例如,在平纹组织中,经纱组分和纬纱组分相互交织,其中,该经纱组分从该纬纱组分上面和下面穿过,勾勒出每个纬纱组分的外形,使其区别于毗邻纬纱组分。同样,毗邻经纱组分交替变换与该纬纱交织的方向;即,第一个经纱组分将从一个纬纱组分上面穿过,第二个毗邻经纱组分将从该同一纬纱组分下面穿过。这种交替交织动作在整个织物中重复进行,产生了经典的平纹组织结构。因此,该纬纱组分也勾勒出每个经纱组分的外形,使其区别于毗邻经纱组分。在斜纹组织中,经纱组分和纬纱组分有相同的转换,尽管经纱组分和纬纱组分的实际交织较少。在2×1斜纹组织中,该织纹的偏移交错交织结构意味着一个经纱组分从不止一个纬纱组分上穿过,并在该织物中周期性地处于直接毗邻另一个经纱组分的位置。然而,该经纱组分和纬纱组分仍然是彼此勾勒外形的,尽管它们在该织物中是偏移或交错的,而且这些纱组分可以通过检查而清楚地确认。
典型地说,该织物的主要部分是从主体织物纱组分制成的,这些组分通常包含那些含有耐火纤维的纱。“耐火纤维”这一术语,如本文中所使用的,系指含有碳和氢两者的聚合物的切段纤维或长丝纤维,它们也可以含有其它元素如氧和氮,而且它们有LOI25及以上。适用的耐火纤维包括聚(间苯二甲酰间苯二胺)(MPD-I)、聚(对苯二甲酰对苯二胺)(PPD-T)、聚苯并咪唑(PBI)、聚亚苯基苯并二噁唑(PBO)、和/或这些纤维的共混物或混合物。对于改善的耐磨蚀性能来说,该主体织物纱组分可以有除该耐火纤维外至多20wt%、较好低于10wt%尼龙纤维。该主体织物纱组分较好是含有60wt%PPD-T纤维和40wt%PBI纤维的短纤维纱。该主体织物纱组分的较好形式和尺寸是(英制)棉纱支数在16/2~21/2范围内的上述组成的股线。
该织物的耐切割防撕裂纱组分可用于给该织物同时提供耐切割性能和撕裂强度,而且有比主体织物纱组分的拉伸强度大至少50%的拉伸强度。该耐切割防撕裂纱组分含有至少一种有合成切段纤维皮和无机芯的耐切割纱。此外,也可以含有连续合成复丝纱。较好的是,该耐切割防撕裂纱组分含有耐火纤维。适用的耐火纤维包括从芳族聚酰胺例如聚(对苯二甲酰对苯二胺)(PPD-T)、聚(间苯二甲酰间苯二胺)(MPD-T)及其它高强度聚合物例如聚亚苯基苯并二噁唑(PRO)制造的纤维和/或这些纤维的共混物或混合物。该耐切割防撕裂组分较好含有1~3种连续长丝纱。如果将一种纱用于该耐切割防撕裂纱组分,则该种纱必须有比该主体织物纱组分的拉伸强度大至少50%的拉伸强度;如果将三种纱用于该耐切割防撕裂纱组分,则该组合三纱必须有比该主体织物纱组分的拉伸强度大至少50%的拉伸强度。如果使用不止一种纱作为该耐切割防撕裂纱组分,则这些纱可以一起合股也可以不合股就使用。该耐切割防撕裂纱组分的总旦值在200旦~1500旦范围内,且适合用于该耐切割防撕裂纱组分的连续长丝纱的旦值在200~1000旦范围内。该耐切割防撕裂纱组分也可以组合或除该耐火纱外还可以有至多20%尼龙纤维以改善耐磨蚀性能。
本发明织物的耐切割防撕裂纱组分含有至少一种有皮/芯构造的纱,其中该皮包含合成纤维且该芯包含无机纤维。皮中的纤维包含合成切段纤维,因为它们产生一种更舒适的纱。较好,该皮中的合成纤维包含耐切割纤维,后者可包括任何数目的、从聚(对苯二甲酰对苯二胺)(PPD-T)及其它高强度聚合物例如聚亚苯基苯并二噁唑(PBO)及其混合物或共混物制造的纤维。较好的是,该耐切割纤维也是耐火的,且较好的阻燃剂和耐切割纤维是PPD-T纤维。该皮也可以在能容忍由于其它材料而引起的耐切割性能下降的程度上包括一些其它材料的纤维。该耐切割纱组分也可以有与该耐切割纱组合的或除该耐切割纱外的至多20wt%尼龙纤维,用于改善耐磨蚀性能。
该皮/芯纱的芯含有至少一种无机纤维。该芯中可用的无机纤维包括玻璃纤维或者从金属或合金制造的纤维。该金属纤维芯可以是一种单股金属纤维或若干金属纤维,如同特定情况所需要或所希望的。较好的芯纤维是一种从不锈钢制造的单股金属纤维。所谓金属纤维系指从一种延性金属例如不锈钢、铜、铝、青铜等制造的纤维或金属丝。这些金属纤维一般是连续金属丝且直径的10~150μm,且较好直径为25~75μm。
构成该皮的切段纤维可以围绕金属纤维芯缠绕或纺纱。若为缠绕,则该切段纤维一般呈以已知手段例如环锭纺纱、包缠纺纱、喷气纺纱、自由端纺纱等进行松散地紧缩或纺纱、然后以足以实质上被覆该芯的密度缠绕该金属芯的切段纤维形式。若为纺纱,则该切段纤维皮是用任何一种适用皮/芯纺纱工艺例如DREF纺纱或所谓Murata喷射纺纱或另一种包芯纺纱工艺在金属纤维芯上直接形成的。该皮中存在的阻燃性PPD-T切段纤维有5~25μm直径而且可以有2~20cm、较好4~6cm的长度。一旦该切段纤维缠绕或纺在该芯上,这些有较好金属纤维芯的皮/芯纱一般是1~50wt%金属,其总线密度为100~5000dtex。
图2是一种可以用于本发明耐切割防撕裂纱组分中的耐切割纱7的说明。该纱有配置在无机芯纤维8周围的切段纤维皮9。这种织物的耐切割防撕裂纱组分可以从一种合股线组合形成,尽管只要求这种合股线组合中的纱之一有皮/芯构造。例如,若该耐切割纱组分是有三种纱的,则这三种纱可以加捻或彼此合股而形成一种合股线。然而,只要求这三种纱之一有皮/芯构造。同样,例如,若该耐切割纱组分是有四种纱的,则这四种纱可以配对然后加捻或彼此合股而形成两种合股线。然而,只要求这四种纱之一有皮/芯构造。合股线是只以通常在5~10捻转或捻回/英寸范围内的少量捻度合在一起的纱。这种低加捻量提供一种紧缩而均衡的纱,而不用另一种纱来完全被覆或缠绕一种纱。
该耐切割防撕裂纱组分中其余的纱可以有几乎任何一种构造,但希望的是它们主要包含耐火材料,从而保持该服装的耐火性。具体地说,这些其余纱可以从芳族聚酰胺切段纤维或连续芳族聚酰胺长丝制成,而且可以含有其它纤维和材料。然而,必须认识到的是,这样的其它材料的存在可能会降低该织物的阻燃性和/或耐切割性能。典型地说,这些其余纱可以有200~2000dtex范围内的线密度,且单根长丝或纤维有0.5~7dtex、较好1.5~3dtex的线密度。
该耐切割防撕裂纱组分中使用的耐切割纱的较好构造是从2种皮/芯纱制成的合股线,其中每种纱的皮都是切段长度为48mm(1.89英寸)的切段纤维PPD-T,芯是1.5密尔直径不锈钢长丝。较好的纱的英制棉纱支数为16/2~21/2(664~465旦)。任选地,该皮/芯纱除皮中的阻燃性耐切割纤维外可以有至多10wt%-以皮纤维重量为基准至多20wt%-尼龙,以提供改善耐磨蚀性能。
如果该耐切割防撕裂纱组分含有一种连续的合成复丝纱,则该纱较好是一种变形或膨化的连续长丝纱,且该纱的较好纤维是线密度为1.5dpf的600旦PPD-T纤维。该耐切割防撕裂纱组分中使用的连续复丝纱是变形的或膨化的,以使这些长丝多根并合而在该纱中产生一种无规缠结环状结构。业内已知的、能实现这一点的一种工艺称为喷气变形,其中,使用加压空气或某种其它流体来重排该长丝束并沿该纱的长度产生环和弓。在一种典型的工艺中,把要膨化的复丝纱以比其脱离喷嘴更大的速度进料到一个变形喷嘴中。加压空气冲击该长丝束,产生环并以无规方式使该长丝缠结。为了本发明的目的,理想的是超喂速率为14~25%,可用范围为5~30%这一量级。以这种超喂速率使用膨化工艺,会产生一种与喂进该变形喷嘴中的纱相比有每单位长度更高重量或旦值的多根合并纱。已发现,每单位长度的重量增加应当在3~25wt%范围内,且较好增加10~18wt%。已经发现,在本发明织物的制造中最有用的膨化纱较好在200~1000旦范围内、更好在300~600旦范围内。这些环和缠结产生了一种有一些类似于仿短纤维纱的表面特征的连续长丝纱。
图1是通过交织正交经纱组分而分开的一些可能纬纱组分的非常简化说明。从诸如短纤维纱集制作的主体织物纱组分1显示出是由交织的经纱组分6而与其它主体织物纱组分和耐切割防撕裂纱组分3这样的组分分开的。一种可能的耐切割防撕裂纱组分3显示出有多种类型纱即变形连续长丝纱和从两种切段纤维皮/无机芯耐切割纱制作的合股线的较好组合,这些纱中的无机芯没有按比例显示而是为说明目的加以放大。该主体织物纱组分1可以由单丝纱和/或合股线的组合制成。类似类型的纱组分可以且较好存在于经向上。
本发明的机织织物典型地以主体织物纱组分为主,耐切割防撕裂纱组分只足以使该织物能在该织物的意向用途上表现出来即可。理想的是,在经纬两个方向上都有耐切割防撕裂纱组分。进而,希望的是在整个织物的经纬两个方向上都均匀地分布该耐切割防撕裂纱组分,使得由该耐切割防撕裂纱组分赋予的耐久性在整个织物内是均匀的。进而,相信最有用的织物是当该耐切割防撕裂纱组分作为该织物的每第5~第9正交经纬纱组分分布于该织物中时制造的,较好的间隔为每第7经纬纱组分有一个耐切割防撕裂纱组分。如果高比例的主体织物纱组分是从短纤维纱制作的,则理想的是使该防撕裂纱组分中使用的任何连续长丝膨化或变形。图3是本发明织物的一种实施方案的说明,为了说明目的,所显示的经纬纱组分宽阔地分开并加以简化。耐切割防撕裂纱组分10在经纬两个方向上都有显示,而且是作为该织物中每第8组分存在的。主体织物纱组分11在经纬两个方向上都显示于这些耐切割防撕裂纱组分之间。
在本发明的另一种实施方案中,本发明的机织织物是从主体织物组分和耐切割防撕裂组分制作的,其中,每个耐切割防撕裂纱组分都有比每个主体织物纱组分大至少50%的拉伸强度,该耐切割防撕裂纱组分包含一种有合成切段纤维皮和无机芯的纱,且该耐切割防撕裂纱组分只存在于该织物的经向或纬向。该耐切割防撕裂纱组分也可以含有可以变形或膨化的连续复丝纱。图4是这种织物类型的说明。耐切割防撕裂纱组分10只显示于经向上,且所有其它经纱都是主体织物纱组分11。纬向上显示的纱组分全都是主体织物纱组分11。
本发明也涉及本发明织物的一种制造工艺,包含从一种主体织物纱组分织造一种织物,并向该织物中在每第5~第9经纬组分插入一种包含一种有合成切段纤维皮和无机芯的纱的耐切割防撕裂纱组分,所述耐切割防撕裂纱组分有比该主体织物纱组分大至少50%的拉伸强度。
有正交纱组分的本发明机织织物的制造工艺的另一种实施方案包括:从一种主体织物纱组分织造一种织物,向该织物中在每第5~第9纱组分插入一种耐切割防撕裂纱组分,在该织物中产生这些组分的一种平行阵列,每个组分都包含一种有合成切段纤维皮和无机芯的纱,且每个组分都有比该主体织物纱组分大至少50%的拉伸强度。
本发明织物可用于且可掺入防护服、尤其可用于消防队员、称为消防队员铠甲的服装。该服装也可用于工业用途,其中,工人可能暴露于磨蚀性的和机械上严酷的、需要火灾和火焰防护的环境。该服装可以包括外套、衣裤相连工作服、夹克、裤子、袖套、围裙、及其它需防护火灾、火焰和热的服装类型。
                    试验方法
热防护性能试验(TPP)
织物在热和火焰方面的预测防护性能是使用“热防护性能试验”NFPA2112测定的。将一个火焰以规定热通量(典型地84kW/m2)对准一段在水平位置上安装的织物。该试验使用一台铜栓式量热计测定从热原经由样品透过的热能,该织物与热源之间没有间隔。试验终点表征为达到用toll & Chianta(“Transactions New York AcademyScience”,1971,33 p649-670)发展的简化模式预测的二度皮肤烧伤所需要的时间。在这种试验中给一个样品指派的值称为TPP值,是达到该终点所需要的总热能,或达到所预测烧伤的直接热源暴露时间乘以入射热通量。TPP值越高,表示隔热性能越好。制备一种三层测试样品,其组成为外层织物(本发明)、水分阻透层和热衬里。水分阻透层是附着到一种2.7oz/yd2(92g/m2)Nomex/Kevlar纤维基材上的Crosstech膜,该热衬里由绗缝列一种3.2oz/yd2(108g/m2)Nomex短纤维纱布上的三层射流喷网法1.5oz/yd2(5g/m2)片材组成。
耐磨蚀性能试验
耐磨蚀性能是按照ASTM方法D3884-80,在一台可购自TeledyneTaber公司(455 Bryant St.,North Tonawanda,N.Y.14120)的Taber耐磨蚀性能试验机上以一个H-18轮、500g负荷测定的。Taber耐磨蚀性能报告为直至破裂的循环数。
耐切割性能试验
耐切割性能是按照“用于测定防护服中使用的材料的耐切割性能的标准试验方法”ASTM Standard F 1790-97测定的。在该试验进行中,将一个切割刀口在规定力下从安装在一个心轴上的样品上拉过一次。以若干种不同的力,记录从初始接触点到割穿所拉过的距离,以力作为割穿距离的函数作图。从该图确定在25mm距离上割穿所需的力,并加以归一化以确认进刀量的一致性。将归一化的力报告为耐切割力。切割刀口是刀刃长70mm的不锈钢刀片。进刀量是通过在试验开始和结束时用400g负荷在一种氯丁橡胶校准材料上校准的。每个切割试验都使用新切割刀口。该样品是一枚在与经向和纬向偏离45度的方向上切割成50×100mm的长方形织物。心轴是一种半径38mm的圆形导电棒,用双面胶带将样品安装到该心轴上。该切割刀口以与该心轴的纵轴成直角的方式从该心轴上的织物上拉过。当该切割刀口与该心轴发生电接触时记录为割穿。
撕裂强度试验
撕裂强度测定是按照ASTM D5587-96进行的。这种试验方法涵盖使用一台记录等速伸长(CRE)型拉伸试验机按梯形程序进行的纺织品织物撕裂强度测定。用这种试验方法测定的撕裂强度要求该撕裂在测试之前就开始。样品在该梯形的最小底的中心处切一个裂口以开始撕裂。把这个有标记的梯形的非平行边夹在拉伸试验机的平行夹具上。
使夹具的分离不断增大,以施加一个力使得该撕裂在整个样品上传播。同时,记录所显现的力。从自记图表记录仪或微处理机数据采集系统计算能使该撕裂继续进行的力。提供梯形撕裂强度的两个计算:单峰力和五个最高峰值力的平均。本专利的实施例使用单峰力。
抓样强度试验
抓样强度测定,即织物或其它片状材料的断裂强度和伸长的测定,是按照ASTM D5034进行的。将一个100mm(4.0英寸)宽样品中心位置安装在拉伸试验机的夹具中,施加一个力直至该样品断裂。从机器标尺或与试验机接口的计算机上得到该试样的断裂力和伸长率值。
                                实施例
实施例1
本实施例说明利用一种含有一种有不锈钢丝芯和PPD-T/尼龙切段纤维皮的耐切割纱的耐切割防撕裂纱组分的本发明织物。该切段纤维皮是90wt%PPD-T切段纤维(Kevlar纤维,1.5dpf、48mm(1.89英寸),可购自E.I.du Pont de Nemours & Co.,Inc.)和10wt%尼龙切段纤维(尼龙类型T200,1.1dpf、38mm(1.5英寸),可购自E.I.du Pont de Nemours & Co.Inc.)的混纺纱。钢丝直径为1.5密尔。
该PPD-T和尼龙纤维是经由一台短纤维环锭纺纱加工中使用的标准梳棉机喂料的,制作一种已梳棉条。该已梳棉条用两道拉伸(头道/末道拉伸)法加工成熟条,并在粗纱机上加工以制作一种粗纱支数。然后,将粗纱与钢丝一起喂进细纱机中,形成一种皮/芯纱结构。皮/芯线是将两根粗纱环锭纺纱并在临加捻前插入钢芯产生的。该粗纱是约5900dtex(1 hank count)。在本实施例中,该钢芯是在临进入最终牵伸辊之前置于两根拉伸的粗纱之间的中心。16/1cc线是每条都使用3.5捻度系数产生的。然后,将16/1cc单线合股成16/2cc以形成一种稳定的纱用于进一步织造过程。
从Pharr Yarns,Inc.(100 Main Street,MeAdenville,NC)得到一种含有PPD-T和PBI纤维(1.5dpf,51mm(2英寸))且这些纤维以60/40混纺比存在的市售环锭纺纱用于该主体织物纱组分。
制作一种5/2耐切割防撕裂平纹组织织物,其中,该耐切割防撕裂纱组分(CRRYC)是以上提到的皮/芯PPD-T/尼龙和钢纱合股在一起的2股纱。每个主体织物纱组分(BFYC)都含有PPD-T/PBI合股线之一。在经向和纬向上,5/2构造是CRRYC/BFYC/BFYC/BFYC/BFYC/BFYC/CRRYC。然后,该织物在265℃烘箱中加热5分钟。该加热处理引起尼龙收缩,进一步改善该织物的耐磨蚀性能。
实施例2
在本实施例中,制备一种热防护用高度耐磨和耐切割的平纹组织织物。将与实施例1中使用的那些相同的PPD-T、PBI和尼龙切段纤维以分别为50%、40%和10%的百分率混纺,并经由一台短纤维环锭纺纱加工中使用的标准梳棉机喂料,制作已梳棉条。该已梳棉条用两道拉伸(头道/末道拉伸)法加工成熟条,并在粗纱机上加工以制作一种粗纱支数。然后将该粗纱喂进细纱机中。该粗纱是约5900dtex(1 hankcount)。16/1cc线是每条都使用3.5捻度系数产生的。然后将16/1cc单股线合股成16/2cc,形成一种稳定纱用于进一步织造过程。这些合股线变成该织物中的主体织物纱组分。每个主体织物纱组分都含有这些合股线之一。
该耐切割防撕裂纱组分是从与实施例1相同的、PPD-T/尼龙切段纤维皮和不锈钢丝芯的一种耐切割纱与一种600旦变形PPD-T连续长丝纱一起制作的。
从这两种组分制造7×2防撕裂平纹组织织物,其中,平纹组织区域主体是从该主体织物纱组分制成的,而每第8经纬组分都插入一个耐切割防撕裂纱组分。所得到的织物有高强度、耐切割性能和耐磨蚀性能。

Claims (16)

1.一种从多种纱组分制成、可用于防护服的机织织物,包含:
一种主体织物纱组分,
一种包含一种有合成切段纤维皮和无机芯的耐切割纱的防撕裂纱组分,所述防撕裂纱组分有比该主体织物纱组分大至少50%拉伸强度,
该主体织物纱组分和该防撕裂纱组分都包含至少一种纱,且每个纱组分都通过交织正交纱组分来区别于毗邻纱组分。
2.权利要求1的机织织物,其中,该防撕裂纱组分包含一种变形或膨化的连续长丝纱。
3.权利要求1的机织织物,其中,该防撕裂纱组分包含聚(对苯二甲酰对苯二胺)纤维。
4.权利要求1的机织织物,其中,该防撕裂纱组分包含耐火纤维。

其中,每第5~第9正交经纬纱组分是一种防撕裂纱组分。
12.权利要求11的机织织物,其中,该防撕裂纱组分包含一种变形或膨化的连续长丝纱。
13.一种从多种经纬纱组分制成,可用于防护服的机织织物的制造工艺,包含:
a)从一种主体织物纱组分织造一种织物,和
b)向该织物中在每第5~第9经纬组分插入一种包含一种有合成切段纤维皮和无机芯的耐切割纱的防撕裂纱组分,所述防撕裂纱组分有比该主体织物纱组分大至少50%拉伸强度。
