依据本发明的第一实施方案,如图2所例示,订户利用蜂窝网络274中的简档描述器262登记他的接收视频剪辑的兴趣。这样移动终端200中的DVB-T接收机202就可以断电。当进球得分时,可得到广播的视频剪辑,广播机必须安排该视频剪辑,使其包含到现在的DVB-T的复用信号中。这可能涉及到重新安排现在的节目,并且相应地更新SI数据。一旦广播这个视频剪辑的时间安排被确定,一个服务通告就会由蜂窝网络274发到蜂窝收发器206。该服务通告被蜂窝收发器206接收到,并且由控制器204处理。控制器通知DVB-T接收机202关于该视频剪辑何时会被广播以及其他的相关数据,例如信道分配,加密参数等。DVB-T接收机能够被及时加电和配置以接收和译码该视频剪辑。视频剪辑也可以被存放在存储器208中。一旦所需的视频剪辑或者其他数据被接收到,DVB-T接收机202就能够被再一次关掉。
服务通告可以是以SI数据的形式,或者可选地以一种特殊的短消息服务(SMS)消息的形式,该信息中包含DVB-T接收机所要求的必要定时和位置信息。根据需要发送的数据和用于发送它的协议,可以使用服务通告的可选形式。
这样当DVB-T接收机202不需要实际接收数据时,可以被断电。这样同现有技术相比,可以在功率消耗上有很大节省。
简档描述器262也控制所请求的信息是通过DVB-T还是蜂窝网络传送到用户。例如,如果有一百万人要求观看某场足球赛进球的视频剪辑,那么最好是通过DVB-T网络传输该视频剪辑。对于如此大量的用户,DVB-T网络提供了一种费效合理的传送手段。另一种可选的方法是通过蜂窝网络逐个地发送该视频剪辑,由于用户很多,这会严重地影响蜂窝网络的运行。
如果请求观看某一视频剪辑的用户的数目很少,那么通过蜂窝网络逐个地发送该视频剪辑可能更经济。准确的阈值会根据DVB-T和蜂窝网络的价格结构以及要求特定项目的用户数目和要求发送的数据量而变动。
蜂窝收发器206也可用来向分组网络274发回一个确认,指明视频剪辑是否被正确地接收到。这可以用于计费,或者在由于信号强度太弱等而没有接收到该信号时可以请求重发这个视频剪辑。重发这个视频剪辑可能再次依据需求和成本效率而通过DVB-T或者蜂窝网络进行。
本发明的另一个优点是,如果调度通告是通过蜂窝网络发送,则可能从DVB-T网络上去掉某些或者全部SI数据。因为SI数据通常占用高达3Mbits-1,该冗余带宽可用于提供另外的数据或者视频信道。
在本发明的另一个实施方案中,在移动终端200中可以包含一个简档描述器。这可以代替蜂窝网络274中的简档描述器262,或者作为添加。如果用于交互信道的通信网络支持数据广播,例如通过GPRS网络或者其他分组型的网络,那么可使用在移动终端上的一个简档描述器。这个简档描述器可以按照用户的偏爱进行配置,并且将只接收符合用户偏好的服务通告。
本领域的技术人员会认识到虽然在前面参考DVB-T传输介绍本发明,但本发明并没有被限制于此。同样的技术可以应用到DVB(卫星)接收和发送或者任何其他类似的或相当的标准中。同样,提及的蜂窝网络和蜂窝传输技术可以替换为固定线路、公用电话交换网络,或者任何其他类型的合适的通信网络。
根据前文本发明显然没有被限制在电视内容的传送上。实际上,正像前面所指明的,数字视频广播可以提供数据和其他交互式业务。
例如,在线银行和其他面向消费者的服务可以使用本发明来改善到订户的数据传输,包括因特网网页。例如,一个在线银行可以使用广播网络来广播包括高质量图表、标准文本等的数页的信息。每页都可以通过使用个人数据而被个性化,该个人数据是在由第二网络提供的交互式信道上传送的,例如GSM,GPRS或者其他将来代的网络。例如,一个普通的‘财务状况’表可以带有银行标识、背景图像等被广播到所有的用户,这样在交互式信道上传送的个人财务状况数据可与广播的‘财务状况’表结合起来,呈现给用户他们自己的个人财务状况表。

Claims (44)

1.一种带有用于从第一通信网络中接收第一信号的第一接收机的终端,包含:
用于从第二通信网络中接收第二信号的第二接收机,该第二信号传达关于所述的第一信号的补充信息。
2.依据权利要求1的终端,进一步包含控制器,用于按照所述的补充信息配置所述的第一个接收机。
3.依据权利要求1或2的终端,其中使所述的第一接收机能够响应于所述的补充信息而接收所述的第一信号。
4.依据权利要求1,2或3的终端,其中所述的补充信息包括调度和配置数据。
5.依据前面任一权利要求的终端,进一步包含用于存储用户偏好的存储装置。
6.依据权利要求5的终端,进一步包含判定装置,用于依靠所存储的用户偏好来判定所述的第二信号是否应该使能所述的第一接收机。
7.依据前面任一权利要求的终端,其中所述的第一信号是一数字视频广播(DVB)信号,并且所述的第一接收机是一数字视频广播(DVB)接收机。
8.依据前面任一权利要求的终端,其中所述的第二信号是一全球移动系统(GSM)信号,并且该第二接收机是一全球移动系统(GSM)接收机。
9.依据权利要求1到7中任一个的终端,其中所述的第二信号是一通用无线分组业务(GPRS)信号,并且该第二接收机是一通用无线分组业务(GPRS)接收机。
10.依据权利要求1到9中任一个的终端,其中所述的第一信号包括一个数据文件,该终端响应于所述的补充信息可起动,以接收该数据文件。
11.通过第一通信网络向一接收机传送一信号的设备,该设备包括:
用于通过第二通信网络传送关于所述信号的补充信息的发射机。
12.依据权利要求11的设备,其中所述的补充信息包括关于该第一信号的调度和配置数据。
13.依据权利要求11或12的设备,进一步含有用于存储订户偏好详细信息的存储装置。
14.依据权利要求13的设备,进一步含有判定装置,用于依靠所存储的订户偏好来判定向哪些订户传送该第二信号。
15.依据权利要求11到14中任一个的设备,其中所述的第一信号是一数字视频广播(DVB)信号,并且该第一通信网络是一数字视频广播(DVB)网络。
16.依据权利要求11到15中任一个的设备,其中所述的第二通信网络是一全球移动系统(GSM)网络,并且该发射机是一全球移动系统(GSM)发射机。
17.依据权利要求11到15中任一个的设备,其中所述的第二通信网络是一通用无线分组业务(GPRS)网络,并且该发射机是一通用无线分组业务(GPRS)发射机。
18.一种从第一通信网络中接收第一信号的方法,该方法包括:
从第二通信网络中接收第二信号,该第二信号传达关于该第一信号的补充信息。
19.依据权利要求18的方法,进一步包含按照所述的补充信息接收该第一信号。
20.依据权利要求18或19的方法,进一步包含存储用户偏好。

通过第二通信网络传送关于所述信号的补充信息。
23.依据权利要求22的方法,其中传送补充信息的步骤包括传送关于所述信号的调度和配置数据。
24.依据权利要求22或23的方法,进一步包含存储订户偏好的详细信息。
25.依据权利要求24的方法,进一步包含依靠所存储的偏好而判定是否向一个订户传送所述的补充信息。
26.依据权利要求22到25中任一个的方法,包括以与数字视频广播(DVB)信号相似的方式传送所述信号。
27.依据权利要求22到26中任一个的方法,包括通过一全球移动系统(GSM)网络传送所述的补充信息。
28.依据权利要求22到26中任一个的方法,包括通过一通用无线分组业务(GPRS)网络传送所述的补充信息。
29.一种通过第一通信网络向一接收机传送信号的方法,该方法包括接收用于将非排定的内容包括进该信号的请求,并且通过第二通信网络传送服务信息,标识该非排定内容的可用性。
30.依据权利要求29的方法,其中所述的服务信息根据排定内容的改变生成,以包含该非排定内容到该信号中。
31.依据权利要求29或30的方法,其中所述的服务信息包括关于该信号的调度和配置数据。
32.依据权利要求29到31中任一个的方法,其中所述的服务信息标识该非排定内容将被传输的时间和信道位置。
33.一种从第一通信网络接收第一信号的方法,其中包括:请求将非排定的内容包含到所述的信号中,通过第二通信网络接收传达服务信息的第二信号,标识该非排定内容的可用性并且根据其启动对该第一信号的接收。
34.依据权利要求33的方法,其中在接收所述的非排定内容之后停止对该第一信号的接收。
35.依据权利要求33或34的方法,其中对该第一通信网络进行所述非排定内容的接收确认。
36.依据权利要求33到35中任一个的方法,包括在接收到该信号后存储所述的非排定内容。
37.一种通过第一通信网络向接收机传送一信号的方法,包括通过第二通信网络传送关于所述信号的补充信息,其中该第一信号中含有公用数据并且该补充信息中含有个人数据。
38.一种从第一通信网络中接收第一信号的方法,包括:从第二通信网络接收传达关于该第一信号的补充信息的第二信号,并且将来自该第二信号的所述信息与该第一信号中的内容结合起来。
39.依据权利要求38的方法,其中所述的补充信息包括个人数据,该数据与通用数据结合起来形成该第一信号的所述内容。
40.依据权利要求38或39的方法,其中该第二信号进一步包括标识该内容的、关于第一信号的调度和配置数据。
