Abstract

技术领域
本发明涉及一种单片式电缆绑带,更具体来说,涉及具有阶形下降的窄带体齿的单片式电缆绑带,以便在小捆绑直径的情况下,改进锁定楔和窄带体之间的啮合。
背景技术
电缆绑带是众所周知,它通常包括与绑带头一体形成的细长的窄带体,绑带头具有一窄带体的通路,它包括一窄带体锁定机构,用来固定围绕一捆导线或电缆的窄带体。通常,电缆绑带窄带体齿具有与侧围条的顶面齐平或略低的齿顶。如图4所示,在现有技术的电缆绑带中,这个高度在电缆绑带的窄带体的整个长度上保持相同。
由于绑带头内的锁定楔的方向和窄带体伸直的自然趋势,当电缆绑带绑扎时(特别当电缆绑带伸展到较小捆绑直径时),窄带体齿推靠锁定楔。当电缆绑带快速穿过时,窄带体齿将过度的力施加到锁定楔的第一个齿上。其结果,第一齿发生变形和拉长。在伸长的楔齿能落入与窄带体齿啮合之前,靠近与锁定楔的第一齿接触的窄带体齿的一窄带体齿可推动楔而脱开。这种脱开现象在较小的捆绑直径(例如,一英寸或更小)中更为明显。
要求提供一种具有不同深度的两个或更多的电缆窄带体齿部分的电缆绑带,以在小捆绑扎应用中提高锁定楔的啮合作用。
也要求提供一种具有在窄带体齿中阶形下降深度的电缆绑带,以增加锁定楔的楔形斜坡和窄带体齿顶之间的距离。
还要求提供一种具有阶形下降的窄带体齿的电缆绑带,以提供用于细长锁定楔齿枢转进入与窄带体齿啮合的另外的间距。
发明内容
本发明包括具有阶形下降的窄带体齿的电缆绑带。电缆绑带包括一窄带体,它具有一第一端和一与第一端相对的第二端,一固定在窄带体的第一端的锁定头,以及在锁定头上形成窄带体接纳通道的多个壁。窄带体包括具有第一预定深度的第一组齿和具有第二预定深度的第二组齿。第一组齿的深度介于0.001和0.007英寸之间,大于第二组齿的深度。
较佳地,第一组齿的深度是0.003英寸,大于第二组齿的深度。
较佳地,第一组齿靠近窄带体的第一端。

具体实施方式
本发明所示的实施例涉及一种具有阶形下降的窄带体齿的单片式电缆绑带,目的在于在小直径捆绑中,提高锁定楔和窄带体之间的啮合。
图1示出一电缆绑带20,它由诸如6.6尼龙之类的合适聚合物的热塑性材料一体模制而成,图示绑带固定一捆电缆22。同样可设想用其它等级的尼龙或非尼龙材料来模制该电缆绑带。较佳地,电缆绑带的总长大约14英寸。同样可设想电缆绑带可为任意要求的长度。
图2示出电缆绑带20的立体图,图3示出该电缆绑带的放大的截面图。如图中所见,电缆绑带20包括一头部24和一窄带体26。窄带体26具有一第一端28和一与第一端28相对的倾斜的第二端30。窄带体26还有一对沿窄带体26的长度纵向延伸的侧围条32,多个窄带体齿,例如,34,36,38,40,42和44(见图8,10和11)在侧围条32之间延伸。如图2所示,锯齿形突起46形成在靠近窄带体26的第二端30的侧围条32上。
如图2和放大的图3所示,窄带体接纳通道48形成在头部24,由一端壁50、一第一侧壁52、一第二侧壁54和一内壁56组成。头部24有一进口表面58和一出口表面60,窄带体26从进口表面穿入头部24,而从出口表面穿出头部24。如图3所示,诸齿形成在锁定楔62上。较佳地,锁定楔62具有一第一齿64、一第二齿66、一第三齿68和一楔形斜坡70。当窄带体26插入窄带体接纳通道48时,楔形斜坡70与电缆绑带20的窄带体诸齿顶接触,具体情况将在下文中描述。
如图4所示,电缆绑带窄带体齿具有的齿顶通常与侧围条32的顶面齐平或略低一些。在现有技术的电缆绑带中,该高度沿电缆绑带体的整个长度保持相等。相反地,图5示出窄带齿体几何形状相对于侧围条32的移位。电缆绑带20大部分具有深度为A的窄带体齿的齿顶,而最靠近头部24的区域的窄带体齿的齿顶具有深度B。较佳地,深度A比侧围条32低0.002英寸,而深度B比侧围条32低0.005英寸。这样,深度B的窄带体齿的齿顶偏离深度A的窄带体齿的齿顶0.003英寸。较佳地,在深度B处的窄带体齿的齿顶可以是紧靠头部24达(包括)三英寸内的任何长度。
图6示出电缆绑带20的正常操作,窄带体26沿箭头方向穿入头部24,锁定楔62的第一齿64尚未变形和拉长。第一齿64沿窄带体齿的诸齿顶跳跃,直到窄带体26捆扎到所要求的捆直径。如图7所示,在要求的直径达到之后,第一齿64落下并与电缆绑带的窄带体齿啮合。这种啮合确保锁定楔62保持在窄带体齿内。
然而,由于在头部24内的锁定楔62的定向和窄带体趋于伸直的自然趋势,当电缆绑带20绑扎时(特别当电缆绑带伸展到较小捆绑直径时),窄带体齿推靠在锁定楔62上。在快速绑扎电缆绑带时,窄带体齿在锁定楔62的第一齿64上施加过度的力。其结果,第一齿64变形和拉长。如图8的现有技术所示,楔斜坡70与邻近窄带体齿34的窄带体齿36啮合。在细长的楔齿64落入与窄带体齿34啮合之前,窄带体齿36可推动锁定楔62而脱开。这种脱开现象对于较小捆绑直径(例如,一英寸或更小)显得更为明显。如图9所示,当图8的现有技术的电缆绑带沿箭头方向倒退时,细长的锁定楔齿64可沿窄带体齿跳跃,其结果导致不充分的啮合。
如图10的优选实施例所示,在沿箭头的方向穿过窄带体26时,细长的锁定楔齿64与深度A处的窄带体齿38的齿顶接触,然后,移位或步入与深度B处的窄带体齿40的齿顶接触(当电缆绑带20伸展到一较小捆扎直径时)。在窄带体齿中从深度A到深度B的阶形下降,可增加楔形斜坡70和窄带体齿的齿顶之间的距离。如图11所示,这种增加的距离或间距允许锁定楔62枢转与窄带体齿42进一步啮合,然后,才与邻近的窄带体齿44的齿顶接触。捆绑之后,锁定楔62向下枢转而与电缆绑带窄带体齿啮合。
如图12所示,细长的锁定楔齿64在窄带体齿沿箭头方向倒退之后,牢固地啮合在电缆绑带窄带体齿内。图13示出在最大载荷或张力下啮合在窄带体齿内的锁定楔62。在最大张力下,第一、第二和第三楔形齿64,66,68各与窄带体齿啮合。
本公开的发明提供具有阶形下降的窄带体齿的电缆绑带。应该指出的是,上述的和图示的本发明的实施例及优选的实施例不是根据本发明可采用的电缆绑带仅有列出的形式;相反,它们用来说明和图示目前所理解的本发明的实施例。借助于实例(不局限于此),具有不同深度的三个或多于三个窄带体齿的电缆绑带部分也被认为纳入本发明的范围内。可以认为本发明存在许多其它形式。

Claims (10)

1.一种电缆绑带,包括:
一窄带体,它具有一第一端和与第一端相对的第二端,
其中,所述窄带体包括具有第一预定深度的第一组齿和具有第二预定深度的第二组齿,第一深度大于第二深度;
一锁定头,它固定在窄带体的第一端;以及
在锁定头上的多个壁,它们形成一窄带体接纳通道。
2.如权利要求1所述的电缆绑带,其特征在于,  第一组齿的深度介于0.001和0.007英寸之间,并大于第二组齿的深度。
3.如权利要求1所述的电缆绑带,其特征在于,第一组齿的深度为0.003英寸,并大于第二组齿的深度。
4.如权利要求1所述的电缆绑带,其特征在于,第一组齿靠近窄带体的第一端。
5.如权利要求1所述的电缆绑带,其特征在于,窄带体和锁定头由聚合物的热塑性材料一体模制而成。
6.如权利要求1所述的电缆绑带,其特征在于,窄带体和锁定头由尼龙一体模制而成。
7.一种制造电缆绑带的方法,包括下列步骤:
模制一包括具有一第一端和一与第一端相对的第二端的窄带体的电缆绑带,其中,窄带体包括具有第一预定深度的第一组齿和具有第二预定深度的第二组齿,第一深度大于第二深度,一固定在窄带体的第一端的锁定头,其中,在锁定头上的多个壁形成一窄带体接纳通道。
8.如权利要求7所述的方法,其特征在于,第一组齿的深度介于0.001和0.007英寸之间,并大于第二组齿的深度。
9.如权利要求7所述的方法,其特征在于,第一组齿的深度为0.003英寸,并大于第二组齿的深度。
10.如权利要求7所述的方法,其特征在于,第一组齿靠近窄带体的第一端。
