Abstract
The present invention is safe color fireworks and the preparation process. The present invention features that monochromatic, dichromatic and polychromatic fireworks are prepared with propylene glycol, succinic acid and nitrocellulose as mixture inflammable, ammonium perchlorate as oxidant and stearate as coloring agent. The present invention has components without explosion, slow burning speed for long enjoying time and burning process producing no smoke, cinder and toxic matter.

Technical Field
The invention relates to a safe colorful firework product and a manufacturing method thereof.
Background
The colour fireworks are made according to the principle that some elements or compounds give out characteristic colour when heated. The traditional colour gunpowder uses solid-phase mixture composed of pyrotechnic composition and colour-producing agent (compounds such as Li, Na, K, Sr, Ba, Cu, etc.), and is ignited by pyrotechnic composition ignition wire to produce magnificent and colourful fireworks, its combustion speed is very fast (near explosive speed), and the colour flame is slightly lost. The existing pyrotechnic composition has extremely high impact and friction sensitivity, and can cause extremely high-cost safety accidents after being manufactured, stored and set off by some carelessness.

The invention aims to provide a safe colorful firework and a preparation method thereof, wherein the preparation method is simple, the product is magnificent and colorful, accidents are not easy to occur in the production, storage and setting-off processes, and the safety coefficient is high.
The safe colorful firework of the invention is composed of propylene glycol, succinic acid, nitrocellulose (commonly called collodion), oxidant and chromophoric agent, and the weight percentages of the components are respectively:
55-70 parts of propylene glycol;
1-5 parts of succinic acid;
10-25 parts of nitrocellulose;
5-20 parts of an oxidant;
1-5 parts of a color former; the oxidant is ammonium perchlorate; the color former is selected from one or two of Na, K, Mg, Sr and Cu stearate or boric acid.
The optimal mixture ratio comprises the following components in percentage by weight:
propylene glycol 65;
3, succinic acid;
nitrocellulose 19;
an oxidizing agent 11;
a color former 3.
In addition, proper amount of pigment such as edible pigment or nontoxic pigment can be added as product appearance coloring agent.
The preparation method of the safe colorful fireworks comprises the following specific steps:
1) mixing the components, heating in a water bath at 70-98 ℃, adsorbing by using nitrocellulose, adding a mixed solution of acetone or ether and ethanol with the total weight of 10-15% to obtain a bright-colored low-hardness solid, placing the solid in an open environment under the conditions of moisture resistance and ventilation until the solid gradually becomes a hard and flexible solid, processing the solid into semi-finished products with various specifications according to requirements, and storing the semi-finished products in a closed environment;
2) and dip-coating the dried semi-finished product surface by using 3-10% of nitrocellulose-ethanol-ether solution, and airing to prepare various products. This prevents the quality from being affected by components in the product which are easily hygroscopic and readily soluble in water. Or 5-10% nitrocellulose-acetone solution is used for connection and bonding to obtain a double-color and multi-color semi-finished product, and the semi-finished product is stored in a sealed manner. Or cutting solid materials with different colors into granules, and sealing for storage.
The optimal temperature for the water bath heating in step 1 above is 95 ℃.
The surface of the product after treatment is fine and smooth, the color is bright and the product is not sticky. The destructive test shows that the treated product has no influence on the combustion of the product and the color of flame.
Based on the safety guarantee when the product is set off, eachproduct is provided with a safety fire extinguishing base, namely gypsum or flame retardant plastic, the product is adhered to the base by using a binding agent generally, and fireworks with special effect requirements are specially treated. The binder can adopt 5-10% nitrocellulose-acetone solution.
The principle of the safe colorful fireworks of the invention lies in that the flame is nearly colorless when the propylene glycol and the succinic acid in the components are burnt, the defects are difficult to ignite and small flame, the defects can be overcome by adding a proper amount of nitrocellulose (collodion), because the collodion is easy to ignite and large in flame, and the light yellow flame can be diluted by the nearly colorless flame when the propylene glycol and the succinic acid are burnt. The ammonium perchlorate is subjected to thermal decomposition reaction as follows:
The safe color fireworks of the present invention adopts a liquid-solid phase mixture system which is combustible and has no explosive danger, accidents are not easy to happen in the production, storage and setting off processes, the safety coefficient is high, red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purplish red color flames can be emitted during the combustion, single-color, double-color and multi-color fireworks products can be produced, the combustion speed is slow, and therefore, the colorful flames can be continuously presented for a long time until the flames of the fire extinguishing base are extinguished or the flames in the air are naturally extinguished, the fireworks powder is cut into particles, and the effect of color waterfalls in the air can be produced during the setting off. The combustion process is smokeless, slag-free, nontoxic, without dry branches and without flame interruption. The product has fine and smooth surface, bright color and no hand sticking, is provided with a fire extinguishing base, has no additional firing cable and is relatively safe. It can be set off outdoors and is suitable for indoor operation.
The invention has the advantages of easily available raw materials, simple production process, no residue and relatively low cost.

Examples the proportions of the components are given in table 1.
Mixing the components according to the component proportion shown in the table 1, heating and melting the components in 70, 80, 85, 90, 95 and 98 ℃ water bath in examples 1 to 6 respectively, stirring and mixing the components uniformly, adding the nitrocellulose into the mixed solution for absorbing, adding the mixed solution of acetone or diethyl ether and ethanol with the total weight of 10 to 15 percent,and stirring the mixture vigorously to form paste. The paste was transferred to a plastic dish and allowed to stand for several days under moisture-proof, open and ventilated conditions, the paste gradually transformed into a hard and flexible solid mass, and the solid mass was cut into various sized semi-finished products. And after the semi-finished product is completely dried, dip-coating and drying the semi-finished product by adopting a solution of 3-10 percent of collodion-ethanol-diethyl ether. And then bonded in a fire extinguishing base or other safety facilities according to the product requirements. The optimal temperature for heating and melting in the water bath is 95 ℃.

55-70 parts of propylene glycol;
1-5 parts of succinic acid;
10-5 parts of nitrocellulose;
5-20 parts of an oxidant;
1-5 parts of a color former;
the oxidant is ammonium perchlorate; the color former is selected from one or two of Na, K, Mg, Sr and Cu stearate or boric acid.
2. A safe coloured firework as claimed in claim 1, wherein the weight percentages of the components are respectively:
propylene glycol 65;
3, succinic acid;
nitrocellulose 19;
an oxidizing agent 11;
a color former 3.
3. A method of manufacturing a safe coloured firework as claimed in claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the method comprises the steps of:
1) mixing the components, heating in a water bath at 70-98 ℃, adsorbing by using nitrocellulose, adding a mixed solution of acetone or ether and ethanol with the total weight of 10-15% to obtain a bright-colored low-hardness solid, placing the solid in an open environment under the conditions of moisture resistance and ventilation until the solid gradually becomes a hard and flexible solid, processing the solid into semi-finished products with various specifications according to requirements, and storing the semi-finished products in a closed environment;
2) and dip-coating the dried semi-finished product surface by using a 3-10% collodion-ethanol-ether solution, and airing to prepare various products.
4. A method of making a safe coloured firework as claimed in claim 3 wherein the water bath heating temperature of step 1 is 95 ℃.
