多层金属复合管的制造方法
本发明涉及一种多层金属复合管的制造方法,其中,一金属带材成形为一管子并沿其两纵向边缘被焊接,一塑料内层通过挤压被装设在金属管的内部上,而一塑料外层通过挤压被装设在金属管的外部上。
DE3016134A1、WO88/03084A1、EP0353977A2、EP0581208A1或EP0920972A1描述了这样的方法。在所有这些已知的方法中,金属带材成形为一管子,其中,已成形为管子的金属带材的两纵向边缘搭接。相互搭接的纵向边缘被焊接。在将相互搭接的纵向边缘焊接之后,塑料内层被接着固定地装设到金属管的内部,而塑料外层被固定地装设到金属管的外部。为此,使一种粘合剂分别与塑料内层和塑料外层挤压。内层和外层的塑料材料采用的是交联或不交联的塑料材料。
具有焊接的、相互搭接的纵向边缘的多层金属复合管,尤其是在直径尺寸较大、金属管的壁厚相应增加的情况下,其缺陷在于,因为壁厚大,所以相互搭接的纵向边缘引人注目-这在复合管直径小且金属带材或管相应薄的情况下不明显。
1993年9/10月的德国期刊“Werkstatt+Montagepraxis”第30-36页中硕士工程师Horst Rahn撰写的“Rohrleitungen aus Kunststoffund Metall in der Sanitr-und Heizungstechnik”除了描述成形为管子的金属带材的纵向边缘相互搭接的上述方法外,还描述了一种所谓的瑞士方法Schweizer Verfahren,在该方法中,首先生产一个内塑料管,其上布置有一个对焊金属或铝管。在该方法中要求:在其两纵向边缘对焊的管子具有稍大于塑料内管外径的内径,以便能够将金属管推到塑料内管上。在将金属管推到塑料内管上之后,需要将金属管向下校准到塑料内管的尺寸。此后,金属或铝管通过挤压被包上一外塑料套。不过,为了能可靠地进行对焊,需要金属管具有一定的最小壁厚。在焊接已成形为管子的金属带材的相互搭接的纵向边缘时,厚度常超过最小壁厚的两倍。
例如,DE4310272A1也描述了一种具有至少两层的复合管的制造方法,其中,至少一层由塑料材料组成,一层由金属组成。其提出,用一种成型工具使成形为管子的金属带材的纵向边缘起卷边,接着采用一个纵向焊缝焊接装置焊接该带卷边的纵向边缘。该方法相对复杂,几乎不适用或根本不适用于便宜的批量生产。
DE19536698C1和DE4404492A1公开了多层金属复合管的制造方法,其中,一金属带材成形为一管子并沿着其两纵向边缘被焊接。在此,根据DE19536698C1所述,一根预制的塑料内管被基本上齐平地装设到金属管上。从而,一根预制的塑料内管与成形为一管子的金属带材组合。这就使装置费用相当昂贵。此外,在进行纵向焊缝的焊接之前,金属管在纵向焊缝处相对的边缘上向外倾斜或成弓形或成阶梯形地成型,从而在预制塑料内管的边缘和外表面之间留有空间。该空间在此是必要的,以避免预制的塑料内管在纵向焊缝焊接期间受破坏。金属带材纵向边缘的这种成型同样产生不容忽视的费用高的问题。就纵向成型无论如何都存在于纵向焊缝的焊接中而言,在该已知方法中还需要对成型的纵向边缘在预制外管的平面中进行反向成形(Rückformung)。这还是造成了不容忽视的费用昂贵的问题。
根据DE4404492A1所述,一预制的塑料内管与一金属管相组合,其中,具有相互搭接的边缘的金属箔被装设到预制的塑料内管上。相互搭接的边缘借助于激光被焊接。在最后所述的这种已知方法中,不是只使用了一个预制的塑料内管,而是还另外制造了仅一个具有相互搭接的纵向边缘的金属管,并沿着纵向边缘将其焊接。
本发明的目的在于,利用了具有相互搭接焊接的纵向边缘的金属管的优点,具有小的金属管壁厚、具备相应的柔韧性或减小了弯曲刚度,而没有令人不快地明显的搭接。
根据本发明,该目的是通过具有权利要求1特征的方法实现的,也就是说,金属带材这样成形为一管子,即,成形为管子的金属带材的两纵向边缘无直径变化地相互对接并被对焊,其中,刚好在进行管子的纵向对焊之后。这直接将塑料内层和塑料外层挤压到管子上。在此有利的是,两纵向边缘通过一激光焊接装置被焊接。另一种可能的方案是,两纵向边缘通过一电极焊接装置、一感应焊接装置或一火焰焊接装置被焊接。
因此,在本发明的方法中,金属管的两纵向边缘被相互对焊在一起,从而带来这样的优点,即,成形为管子的金属带材的纵向边缘并不被令人不快地注意到。
按照本发明的方法制造的多层金属复合管的一实施例示出在未按实际比例绘制的附图中,并在下文中予以描述。
附图是一多层金属复合管10的横剖面图,该多层金属复合管具有一塑料内层12、一塑料外层14和一设于其间的金属管16。
多层金属复合管10的制造过程如下:
在第一工作步骤中,一金属带材成形为一管子,并被沿着其两纵向边缘18对焊。该对焊接头由附图标记20表示。在对焊已成形为金属管16的金属带材的纵向边缘18后,一粘合剂层24和塑料内层12通过挤压被粘牢在金属管16的内部22上,并且一粘合剂层28和塑料外层14通过挤压被粘牢在金属管16的外部26上。在本发明的方法中,取消了在已经准备好的内塑料管12上对于对焊的金属管16的向下校准,而这一步骤却是迄今以来制造具有对焊金属管的复合管的常规操作。
本发明的方法例如可在如PCT申请PCT/DE99/00224中所述的一装置中实现,不过在此成形为金属管16的金属带材的纵向边缘18却不搭接,这意味着,将金属带材变形成金属管的成形装置被相应地改变。焊接装置也是如此,因为焊接的不是搭接的纵向边缘18,而是要进行成形为金属管的金属带材纵向边缘18的对焊。此外,该装置可设计成与描述在上述申请PCT/DE99/00224中的装置相同的结构,其中还可将生产线长度从先前的值例如约27m扩至100m。

Claims (5)

1、一种多层金属复合管的制造方法,其中,一金属带材成形为一管子(16),并沿着其两纵向边缘(18)被焊接,并且,一塑料内层(12)通过挤压被装设在金属管(16)的内部(22)上,而一塑料外层(14)通过挤压被装设在金属管(16)的外部(26)上,
其特征在于,所述金属带材这样成形为一管子(16),即,成形为管子(16)的金属带材的两纵向边缘(18)无直径变化地相互对接并被对焊,其中,在进行管子(16)的纵向对焊之后就直接将所述塑料内层(12)和塑料外层(14)挤压到管子(16)上。
2、如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述两纵向边缘(18)借助于一激光焊接装置被焊接。
3、如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述两纵向边缘(18)借助于一电极焊接装置被焊接。
4、如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述两纵向边缘(18)借助于一感应焊接装置被焊接。
