Abstract

Description

对象条件访问系统
本发明涉及一种条件访问系统，该系统用于控制终端用户接收机对上行链路系统中的数据内容源的访问，所述的上行链路系统包括一个加扰器，用于将数据内容源提供的数据内容加扰，一个授权控制信息产生器，用于产生包括控制字和授权标识符的授权控制信息，以及一个传输器，用于传输加扰的数据内容和授权控制信息，其中解扰器以及授权控制信息解码器与接收机相连，如果授权控制信息的授权标识与终端用户的授权标识之间匹配，授权控制信息解码器就为解扰器提供一个控制字，用于为授权的接收机解扰一部分所接收的加扰内容。
本发明进一步涉及一种在这样的条件访问系统中使用的上行链路系统。

这样的条件访问系统可以从1995年冬出版在EBU技术评论的第266期第64-77页的“条件访问系统的功能模型”一文中知道。
在目前的访问系统中用户是为访问数据内容的所有部分(例如一场足球比赛)付费的，否则将什么也接收不到。用户的授权标识是分配在数据内容的整个部分中。当前的条件访问系统提供了几种类型的授权标识用于访问提供者提供的服务，授权标识是与服务的付费方式相关的。
但是，本发明的目的是引起用户对接收数据内容的整个部分的可能性的更直接的注意，从而激励用户购买所述的数据内容部分。
本发明的目的是通过提供一个分离器而实现的，该分离器与数据内容源相耦合，用于从所述源中分离出数据内容的一部分，分离成至少一个代表数据内容部分的一个预选对象的对象数据流以及代表除去对象数据的数据内容部分的剩余数据流，至少一个对象数据流提供给加扰器的输入端，并且在解扰器的输出端连接有一个结合器用于将解扰的对象数据与剩余数据内容结合，在这里一个个体授权标识被分配在所述的对象中。
通过对数据内容的整个部分的分析，从所述的整个部分的剩余部分中分离出基本的对象，例如足球比赛实况中的足球。在提供给用户的广播信号中，这一基本对象是作为一个分离的对象被标识的。基本对象被给予一个分离条件访问码，从而一个个体授权标识就被分配给了该对象。例如，用户可以免费地接收数据内容的整个部分的剩余部分，即没有足球的足球比赛的其他部分。通过观看没有球的足球比赛，观众将被激励付费收看整个的实况。
在美国专利5442701中可以看到，为了得到半质量的视频信号，视频信号被改变为与模拟或者数字级别相适应的显示。这种改变是与足球比赛实况完全独立的。但是根据本发明，场景的改变是通过分离基本对象(例如足球)而实现的。而且，本发明的优点还在于整个节目的剩余部分的图像质量非常好，因而显示得更为专业，这样用户就会更加被激励乐于为数据内容的整个部分(整个足球比赛)付费。
足球比赛的半质量版本看起来似乎是无法使用的。在本发明的条件访问系统中，数据内容的剩余部分并非是无法使用的。例如，根据本发明的条件访问系统可以推广为具有多级条件访问的多个节目(更多价目级别)，其中最低的级别(免费)也是包括在内的。例如对于一个电子新闻报纸，可以免费地得到基本级别的信息(看文本)，但观众必须付费才能得到更深入的信息、图片以及其他类似的内容。
本发明将参照附图中公开的内容对依据本发明的条件访问系统的优选实施例的结构进一步解释。
通常，在条件访问系统中观众可以区分出服务与事件。
服务是在广播商的控制下的一个节目序列，其可以作为节目表的一部分而被广播。服务是中心参考实体。
事件是一个定义了一般服务的开始时间与结束时间的基本广播数据流的组合，例如足球比赛，突发新闻，娱乐表演等。事件总是一个而且仅是这个服务的一部分，即一个事件不可能是多个服务的一部分。
根据本发明，数据内容源的一部分数据内容(事件)被分成至少一个对象数据流，它代表数据内容部分的预选对象，以及一个剩余数据流，它表示除去对象数据以外的数据内容部分。所述至少一个对象数据流被加扰并传送给几个用户。如果用户已经为数据内容的全部付费，尤其是已为对象付费，则剩余数据流与至少一个对象数据流将被结合。一个个体授权标识就这样指配给了对象。
在附图中描述了一个依据本发明的称作对象条件访问系统的实施例，在下文中将以足球比赛作为一个事件来对其进行描述。
请注意，对象条件访问系统不仅可以使用在数字电视广播系统中，而且可以使用在基于互联网协议的视频系统中。
在图中示出的条件接收系统的上行链路系统1中包括一个数据内容源2。数据内容的一部分可以是有关足球比赛的视频数据。数据内容的所述部分被提供给分离器3，它将视频数据分离成至少一个代表视频数据的预选对象的对象数据流os1，os2以及代表除去对象数据的视频数据的剩余数据流rs。在足球比赛的例子中，第一对象可以是足球，第二对象可以是有关足球比赛的音频评论。第一与第二对象数据流os1，os2都与加扰器4相连，用于扰码对象数据，从而使授权的用户无法接收所述的对象数据。
更进一步，上行链路系统1包括一个控制字产生器5用于将控制字cw传送并提供给加扰器4用于控制所述加扰器的加扰操作。此外，控制字cw还被提供给授权控制信息产生器6用于产生包括控制字以及授权标识的授权控制信息ecm。
授权控制信息ecm，加扰的对象数据信号sos1，sos2以及剩余数据流rs都被传送或者广播给几个潜在的用户的接收机7。请注意剩余数据流是从分离器3直接传送的，而不经过加扰器4。但是，对剩余数据流rs进行加扰也是可能的。
接收机7包括解扰器8以及授权控制信息解码器9。
授权控制信息通过解码器9接收，并且如果接收机7的用户被授权可以接收对象数据，控制字cw就被传给解码器8。通过所述的控制字，解扰器8就被控制，这样对象数据就被解扰并且传给结合器10。解扰的对象数据信号dos1，dos2以及剩余数据流rs在结合器10中被结合以提供给数据接收器11一个完整的视频数据vd。
分离器3产生实况描述数据sd，它被传送给接收机7并被结合器10接收。在所述的实况描述数据sd的基础上，对象数据以及剩余数据被结合成完整的视频数据vd。
在图示的实施例中，每一用户都可以通过各自的接收机7接收剩余视频数据，从而用户可以看到不需任何收费的实况的剩余部分。代表可读的说服信息的较好的数据就被加在了剩余数据上，观众可以暂时看到信息“购买足球”。
如果用户被说服并且购买了足球，他将被授权可以接收关于足球的数据。这样在用户的授权标识与授权控制信息的授权标识之间就产生了一个匹配。在所述的匹配的基础上，授权控制信息产生器9为了传送控制字cw而解码所述的信息，其将被提供给解扰器8从而将对象数据进行解扰。
通过分离对象，例如从视频数据中分离出足球，使得视频帧具有一个球形的切掉部分。这样的切掉部分最好利用先前和/或下一视频帧在所述对象的位置上的内容来填充，这样就重建了球的位置。
在已知的条件访问系统中采用的协议是购买授权来接收视频/音频对象然后对其进行解码。授权的管理是通过传送和接收被称为授权管理信息的方式来实现的。
较好的授权控制信息以及授权管理信息是加密，其中可以使用智能卡。
数据内容源可以包括具有基本信息级以及几个深层信息级的节目。基本信息级可以免费访问，而深层信息级是与个体授权信息相联系的必须通过付费才能被访问。

Claims (7)

1.一种用于控制终端用户接收机(7)对上行链路系统(1)中数据内容源(2)进行访问的条件访问系统，所述的上行链路系统包括一个加扰器(4)，用于将数据内容源(2)提供的数据内容加扰，一个授权控制信息产生器(6)，用于产生包括控制字(cw)和授权标识符的授权控制信息(ecm)，以及一个传输器，用于传输加扰的数据内容和授权控制信息，其中一个解扰器(8)以及一个授权控制信息解码器(9)与接收机(7)相连，如果授权控制信息(ecm)中的授权标识与用户终端的授权标识之间匹配，授权控制信息解码器(9)就将控制字(cw)提供给解扰器(8)，用于解扰接收的已加扰内容的一部分，以使接收机被授权，其特征在于，设有一个分离器(3)，与数据内容源(2)相耦合，用于从所述的数据源中分离出一部分数据内容，将其分离成至少一个代表数据内容部分的预选对象的对象数据流(os1)和一个代表除了对象数据以外的数据内容部分的剩余数据流(rs)，所述至少一个对象数据流被提供给加扰器(4)的输入端，并且一个结合器(10)与解扰器(8)的输出端相连，用于结合解扰的对象数据(dos1，dos2)和剩余数据内容(rs)，其中一个个体授权信息被指配给所述的对象。
2.如权利要求1所述的条件访问系统，其中每一对象都与深层信息的预定级别相关。
3.如权利要求1所述的条件访问系统，其中数据内容部分包括视频帧，以及前一视频帧和/或下一视频帧被用于重建分离对象时被切掉的帧部分。
4.如权利要求1所述的条件访问系统，其中实况描述数据(sd)从分离器(3)传送到结合器(10)，并据此将对象数据与剩余数据结合。
5.如权利要求1所述的条件访问系统，其中代表可读的说服指示的数据被加在剩余数据内容中。
