Abstract

本发明提供一种供墨卡匣的负压控制装置,以钢制弯管形成的负压控制装置配合一套管,该套管系以具有高湿润性材质制成。在操作中,套管套在钢制弯管位于一墨水槽内部的小口径端口上,以便当供墨卡匣被倒置时,该套管可在管中保持住墨水而阻止空气经钢制弯管由小口径端口进入墨水槽内部,造成内部压力升高。

Description

供墨卡匣的负压控制装置
本发明涉及一种供墨卡匣的墨水供应机构,更明确地说,本发明涉及供墨卡匣的负压控制装置。
现行打印机的产品中,尤其喷墨打印机具有快速与安静操作的特性,而其在纸上的高品质打印使其成为广受欢迎的产品,而且喷墨打印机周边相关产品亦一直在发展中。
供墨卡匣是喷墨打印机的一项重要消耗性产品,系容纳打印所需的墨水。依照现有技术,供墨卡匣中会配置一小口径的钢制弯管,以形成负压控制装置。请参阅图1所示,供墨卡匣1具有墨水槽10,该墨水槽10容纳墨水2,且墨水槽10的下方配置有喷墨头3。供墨卡匣1工作时,在起初状态,墨水槽10已容纳墨水2而且在墨水槽10内的上方空间11形成一负压状态。当喷墨打印机(未显示)提供驱动信号至供墨卡匣1的喷墨头3,使墨水2从墨水槽10之内经喷墨头3被喷出。负压控制装置的配置系以钢制弯管20的一端21通外部空气,另一端22形成小口径位于墨水槽10之内。在供墨卡匣1正常放置时,该弯管20的末端22因墨水的压力使前述空间11可与外部空气保持一平衡的压差状态,即使前述空间11形成一定值的负压状态,避免墨水2在没有打印状况时发生墨水2从喷墨3泄漏的缺失。
然而,当供墨卡匣1被倒置形成如图2所示的状况时,会因为失去墨水2的压力而使外部空气经端口21沿着弯管20进入墨水槽10的内部空间12,导致内部空间12的压力升高。因此,在供墨卡匣1恢复正常放置的状况时,如图1所示,则因为空间11的压力已升高致使墨水2在喷墨头3处导致渗漏,而影响喷墨打印机的打印品质。
本发明的一个重要目的系提供一种供墨卡匣中的负压控制装置,该负压控制装置系以钢制弯管配置,致使供墨卡匣倒置时不会使内部空间失去负压。
本发明的另一目的系利用具有对墨水的湿润性较佳的材质套管,以提供负压控制装置的钢制弯管可有效地利用墨水封闭端口,防止空气进入供墨卡匣内部。
本发明的目的是通过以下技术方案实现的,提供一种供墨卡匣中的负压控制装置,以钢制弯管形成的负压控制装置配合一套管,该套管系以具有对墨水湿润性较佳的材质制成;在操作中,套管套在钢制弯管位在一墨水槽内部的小口径端口上,以便当供墨卡匣被倒置时,该套管可在管中保持住墨水而阻止空气经钢制弯管由小口径端口进入墨水槽内部,造成压力升高。
本发明的优点是,该负压控制装置能使供墨卡匣在搬运或移动过程中不致发生墨水槽内丧失负压,从而确保了供墨卡匣在正常放置操作时,仍能维持高品质的打印效果,有效地克服现有技术对供墨卡匣所造成的缺失与使用上的不便。
本发明供墨卡匣的负压控制装置改进及其诸多优点与特征将从下述详细说明及所附图式中得到进一步的了解。

首先参考图3所示,系本发明负压控制装置的侧视剖面图。在本发明的实施例中,负压控制装置系由钢制弯管20与套管23组合而成,其中套管23由具有对墨水而言湿润性较佳的材质制成。钢制弯管20配置于供墨卡匣1的墨水槽10的内部,钢制弯管20的一端21连接供墨卡匣1的进气孔,使空气可以进入钢制弯管20,而钢制弯管20的另一端22具有小口径,并靠近墨水槽10的底部,套管23形成中央贯穿孔,并套于钢制弯管20的端口22处。
在供墨卡匣1正常放置时,该弯管20的端口22因墨水的压力使具有负压的空间11可与外部空气保持一平衡的压差状态,即使空间11的负压保持一定的状态,避免墨水2在没有打印的状况时发生墨水从喷墨头渗漏的缺失。其中,套管23套于端口22并不致影响负压控制装置维持供墨卡匣1的内外压差状态。
接着参考图4,系显示在供墨卡匣被倒置时,本发明负压控制装置的侧视剖面图。供墨卡匣1的倒置,使钢制弯管20的端口22与套管23脱离墨水2而处于空间12,其中因为套管23的管壁具有高湿润性,所以将可保持部份墨水2于套管23的内部形成封口,请配合参看图5,显示图4中钢制弯管20的小口径端口22与套管23的局部放大图。在图5中可清楚看到,由于套管23的材质具有高湿润性,所以当套管23从墨水2中离开时,将会保持部份墨水2于套管23之中,从而使套管23的端口被墨水2所封闭,使钢制弯管20中的空气不致进入空间12,进而使空间12保持与空间11相同的负压状态。因此,按照本发明的实施例,即使在供墨卡匣1被倒置时,负压控制装置仍能确保墨水槽10内部的负压不致丧失。
进一步说明本发明负压控制装置的套管23的特征。请参考图6与图7,系分别显示墨水2在不锈钢材质表面与湿润性较佳的塑胶材质表面的示意图。在本发明的较佳实施例中,套管23的材质可采用塑胶材质,由于不锈钢管为一湿润性较差的材质,所以墨水2与其接触会呈图7所示的状态;而相对于不锈钢管材质,塑胶材质套管其湿润性性较佳,以致墨水2与其接触会呈图6所示的状态。因此,具有高湿润性的塑胶材质套管23在脱离墨水2时,其套管23的内部管壁会保持部份墨水2形成墨水层阻隔了空气的通过,从而使本发明的负压控制装置在供墨卡匣1倒置时会形成阻绝空气的结构,改善现有技术的缺失。
在详细说明本发明的较佳实施例之後,熟悉该项技术的技术人员可清楚地了解,在不脱离下述申请专利范围与精神下可进行各种变化与改变,而且本发明亦不受限于说明书的实施例的实施方式。

Claims (3)

1.一种供墨卡匣的负压控制装置,在该供墨卡匣内部设置一钢管,该钢管的第一端口连通空气,第二端口靠近内部的底部,其特征为:一套管形成贯穿孔,并套在该钢管的第二端口上,当该供墨卡匣倒置时,该套管内会保持墨水以阻隔该钢管内部空气进入前述供墨卡匣内部。
2.一种供墨卡匣,包含
一上盖,具有一进气孔;
一墨水槽,容纳墨水,可结合前述上盖在内部形成负压空间;
一钢管,其一端连接前述进气孔,可维持供墨卡匣内外压差环境;
其特征为:
一套管具有贯穿孔,并套在前述钢管的另一端口,且前述套管的湿润性高于该钢管的湿润性。
3.一种供墨卡匣,具有容纳墨水的墨水槽,前述墨水槽内配置一第一压力控制装置,前述第一压力控制装置的第一端口连通空气,而第二端口靠近前述墨水槽的底部,其特征为:
一第二压力控制装置具有贯穿孔并套在该第二端口上,且该第二压力控制装置的湿润性高于前述第一压力控制装置的湿润性。
